Chapter 17
You sadly didn't get to see the Fruits of your labour, and if your Mother's Expression was anything to go by, you won't be able to do so for a good amount of time. Though your little Sister is finally normal again, so you suppose you can be thankful for such small Mercies, and who knows, mayhaps you will even get your Lessons now, for by the Gods you will have more than enough time for them.
And yet just how right you were with that assumption of yours actually surprised you, though you would still have preferred being wrong, so as to see the World once more, before it was completely swallowed up by the Snow. But annoyingly, your Mother can't be bought, neither with Gold nor Gems, for you had tried it, and quite hard at that. But in the end, nothing you could do got you anywhere even close to getting out of the Rock again, you would be genuinely annoyed if you wouldn't respect it so damn much.
You had to wonder for a moment if that's why you never saw your Father start arguing with her, even if anyone could see that he really wanted to. It's truly astonishing that someone can be this unyielding, without creating any further Conflict, and without having to put any effort into it as well. Perhaps you could learn that as well, it would certainly be helpful in dealing with some more difficult People in the future.
Thinking about it, your Father is similarly able to project his unyielding Will, though there is no passive Ability of diminishing someone's aggression in him, like at all. Rather than dismantling the feelings of other's until they align, he just forces them to accept his Stance with Logic until they beg for forgiveness, how those two found each other is simply beyond you. But you soon decide that you are way too bored, thinking about the Marriage of your Parents, just how could it come to a Situation like this, where you sit on a giant Pile of Books, an even bigger Pile of Gems, and Chambers worth of Gold Ingots, and what's occupying your Mind is the Marriage of your Parents.

You truly aren't made to sit around in even this greatest of all Cages, for you can clearly feel how your Mind is trying to change your Situation in any way it can, and you find yourself quite disliking having to think about useless Details all the time. Even if some rather good and interesting Questions come out of it now and again, you would still prefer looking over your little Guild that you apparently created. Yes, that would be rather enjoyable, thus you aren't allowed to do so, it's immensely frustrating to have nothing but Paperwork with raw numbers to keep yourself informed about what soon became your little Pet Project.
And what a pleasant Experience that could have become, if only you were allowed to further help them out, but again, no Bribe you managed to get your Hands on was good enough to move your Mother. And you can only hope that the Guild will still stand when you're finally free again, they did after all make a rather decent amount of Profit, so keeping up hope might not be all that futile in the end. Though it would really be preferable to have a bit more Control, and Knowledge about the happenings in Lannisport, you can also understand your Mother's Point of View just fine, and you understand that you crossed a Line with your little Adventure, so you will stay put, just like the good Girl that you are should.
Even several Months later you're still stuck in the Rock, and even though you know there's nowhere to go anyways, you find yourself still frustrated for some reason, but you would never say that you're bored to your Mother. For there is nothing good that could ever come out of doing so, and you shudder at the Thought of what might be used to get rid of a Child's Boredom in your Family, you at least never saw your Sibling say they were bored, which is quite the Feat, and you have no desire to do Chores or whatnot. No, you will have to come up with something yourself, but you can't really think of anything you would enjoy doing right now.

So you soon find yourself just lying around in different places, and you realise just how useful the Ability to turn Stone fluffy actually can be, if you could sleep you would be rather content with Life, but seeing as you can't, it only helps a bit with the suppression of your Boredom. And you suppose that you should focus on your work, for lying around all Day, even when reading a Book is too much of a waste of time, for you simply aren't what one would call a normal nearly five Year old Girl, and you just can't become any softer than you already are.
While continuing that Line of thought you wonder if your other Idea of trying to mine under the Ocean would be any good, so as to serve as your newest Project, and then quickly decide that you aren't ready for it yet, but mayhaps something similar could be used in the future when you reach the necessary proficiency. Yes, that other Line of thought should hold a good bit more potential, and what would you even do with all of the Wealth, if you're already sitting on a Pile of Gold large enough to collapse the Economy of this Continent spanning Realm, no, taking it away from someone would be much more beneficial.
Perhaps your Father's Vision of the future could be somewhat achievable after all, seeing as the greatest problem will be of the Logistic Nature, securing the Sea would become the only acceptable first step. And with the Ironborn having the strongest Fleet in the Realm, they would make for such a juicy Target, would they not? For if what you read was true they do not fear drowning, and as such fight in Plate Armour even on the open Sea, but if someone were to steal their comparatively minor amounts of Iron who would they have to turn to if not the Westerlands, and how would they pay if not in Ships?

Silver Fox and the Western Hero
Author's Note. This is book 7! Please feel free to hop on and enjoy! If you find you like my writing style, I hope you'll check out the first 6 books, all available to read on Kindle Unlimited, link below!) Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out! And I will continue to post chapters to Book 6 here first, until that tale is told! I hope you enjoy! And if you wanted to help support my work by checking out book 1 on Amazon, I would be extremely grateful!)

Sins of the Fathers (A Dungeon Story)
Extract from the histories of Hogenbach, written by the grand historian and self-proclaimed drunkard Gregor Meinzt. "Ah Hogenbach, a crumbling shithole of a kingdom situated in the arse end of nowhere. A land of rolling hills, cold winters and home to a population of short and bitter people. A terrible land. Yet it is here that the greatest calamity of the modern realm took place. It was here that the writhing dungeon was born. Some call Viktor Grieswald a hero, others curse the name. And yet fewer still know him for what he truly was. His was a sad existence, made to shoulder the burdens of an entire realm. He helped, he harmed and he left a trail of destruction in his wake, he will always be my friend. But know this, whatever your opinion on the man, nay the monster is, one thing is true. The world will never be the same after his presence, we made sure of that." AN: Alright, this is a dark fantasy dungeon story without the use of reincarnated characters or a system. Yes, I tagged it litRPG as it uses game elements, no these do not include a status screen. Read onwards if you dare.
