Chapter 1
If someone were to ask you how you're feeling, being dead and all that, you would say that your last Victory was the sweetest thing you have ever tasted, and that after all these Years seeing the World in its proper Order and Glory delighted you like nothing had done before. Yet despite your happiness over achieving your Life's Goal at such a small cost, the current Situation which not at all feels like being dead seems determined to deplete your good Spirit as fast as humanly possible.
Being reborn, you find yourself quite small and mentally exhausted in a great lavishly decorated Chamber, a Chamber filled with the irritating cries of your Siblings and an old Man in Robes that just doesn't seem to understand that you won't cry no matter how long he might try, all of it immensely testing your patience. You attempt to distract yourself, and take in the rest of the Chamber, it reminded you quite a bit of the Regals with all the Lions around, if it weren't for the Banners of Red and Gold you would have thought you were reborn into the Past.
Sadly, neither the Chamber nor your Thoughts managed to distract you for long, and with the Exhaustion leaving you at a fast pace, you finally realise that your Mother annoyingly seems very amused at your Silence and Defiance. If you were to make a Guess you would say it has something to do with the Man having a Smile on his Face to her side, holding your Brother as he does, he is in all likelihood your Father.
All in all, and with a clear Mind, this Life, despite its frustrating beginning, suddenly doesn't seem half bad anymore. Yes, you would even say you're getting a bit excited, there should be new Lands to explore, new Cultures and Religions to learn about, and new Wars to start and finish.

Reality changed your Mind rather fast as your new Life turned out to be as boring as it is expected to be for a Child your Age, and for the Gods sake it's only been a few Months you lived here, and you still can't help but wonder bitterly each Day if you will Today finally be able to do something again. For as grand as this Castle is, it's driving you persistently up the Walls to see the same things from the same Perspective while so much is just beyond your grasp.
And yet more problems are joining the boredom of not being able to do anything, the fact that you can't sleep away the time, despite trying so very hard for one. This particular and most severe problem was what forced you to witness each and every moment of your annoyingly eventless Life clearly, and then to lie still for Hours on end, and pretend you could sleep, simply to not overly trouble your Mother and the Servants.
You can see how this Ability, that negates the need for sleep might prove useful in the future, but here and now, it's just bothering you to no end, and you just can't figure out from where you are supposed to take the Will to put up with this any longer. For despite how happy you are that you have a Family again, you can feel with every passing Day the same thing, the same feeling of abnormality to your House as they call it. And you can't help it but ask yourself, just why are they even serving?
The small Segment of your Home that you were actually able to see from time to time told you everything you needed to know of your Families strength, but with all this might at their disposal, just how in the World is there still someone left your Family bows to? Any Stronghold of such size as this one, with this much Wealth should take Generations to create, and seeing as Humans are still Humans, Wars, and the like would be a constant throughout its construction, turning it more into the Work of Ages, rather than anything else.

Just what kind of monstrous Castle and Army does the King have that even the strength of your House isn't enough to oppose and dethrone him? It feels even more abnormal that there isn't even a single Royal Banner in sight, which doesn't mean much here, but for obvious reasons still seems wrong, seeing as the Castle doesn't have a single Chamber lacking a Banner of House Lannister. You hope and pray that you weren't reborn into a Family that follows the King just for being the King, or some such madness. You really wish that your Father was Home more often, surely listening to him could clear up all of these little Questions of yours.
Pushing aside your Questions and ignoring your Concerns for the time being you once more focus on something else to distract yourself, and what caught your attention Today was your Grandfather, and at least to your own Eyes he isn't a very impressive Man, but Family is Family you presume, and everyone has at least some Flaws to their Name, have they not? Sooner or later the Flaws could be mended, and to be honest you don't actually mind it all that much, having a particularly soft and doting Grandfather and all that doesn't seem to affect your love for him after all.
You aren't sure from where that love for your Family comes from, your Siblings being just Babies haven't even done anything yet, but it's a pleasant change from when you didn't have anything left to fight for in your last Life. And you really hope that you can become strong fast enough again, that healing this World before you're losing those close to you to it again becomes possible. Mayhaps it's a bit greedy to want the freedom of your little Pups while paying nothing in return, but Family comes first, and no matter what you do to free the Wolves of this World, you don't want to forsake your Lions in the process.

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
