The Kapa don’t stop coming. The Kapa won’t stop coming. The evil scourge must be purged. The skeletons, the evil human magic, already claimed five, maybe six of their brothers. They will chase them from their lands and kill the human responsible. That is the Kapa logic as they track the fleeing party of Skeletons.
“The murders and butchers must pay!” the Kapa shout as their boss’ shadow begins to loom large over the swamp.
From Greg’s perspective, all he hears is EXP.

Spears and nets fly. His leg has been destroyed and regenerated several times, and Greg has stabbed, slashed, and hacked at leathernecks for what seems like hours. Doug is knee-deep in blood and shells floating down lazy water as he Forward Thrusts at approaching Kapa, who seem to come in all directions. One inspired soldier stabs at Greg’s shoulder and removes his sword hand. Greg turns his neck, not his body, toward the source of danger and smiles. Smiles.
Greg aims his strike at the creature’s throat, falling backward, landing on the Kapa with his outstretched spear and biting down hard.
“AAAAAAAGRH!” the Kapa screams as he stumbles backward, trips, and falls into the waiting swamp water where he is submerged.
The other soldiers follow the sound of that particularly sharp scream, a sound that’s become so common as the battle raged. They see the water churn as the young soldier thrashes and fights the skeleton before the greenish-brown sickly water goes still.
“Did he win?” one soldier asks the three others assuming a flanking position.
“Who won?” a soldier named Mackie Matt replies.

“Our brother—” The soldier wants to finish but is met with a spear jutting out from the water, piercing his chin and exiting out through his brain.

The flanking soldiers have a moment to respond to Greg’s sudden appearance, but that moment passes, their lizard brains still focused on their dead fellow soldier and not—
Greg grabs the spear of the impaled Kapa and, with some quick thinking, does the unthinkable—
“Forward Thrust!”
—and lets go of the spear.
One poor Kapa only has enough time to ponder what that “whizzing” sound is before he is impaled, ear-through-ear, his neck snapping from the sheer force as his body goes limp—
NecroParty has gained 20 EXP.
Greg Skeleton Warrior has unlocked Range Mastery
—and his party members scream. Mackie Matt runs. His friend is in mid-charge when he realizes that his backup was running away screaming into the swamp.
“MATT!” the Kapa shouted before turning back to see Greg, the skeleton, with his sword held high, his bones green from the muck and slime, and his skull twisted in a murderous grin.
NecroParty has gained 20 EXP.

This is the second book in the series "The Mysteries of Venetta" - an adventure fantasy in the 16th-century Venice. Francesca returns to Venetta and is once again caught in the web of political intrigue. Anyone in this city can betray. But if her old friend is a traitor, then maybe the old enemy will come to the rescue? 8 182The Sea Tower
Sea witches were monsters of legends, capable of routing armadas and wreaking havoc across entire realms by controlling the weather. It was rumored that even the mighty krakens were under the control of the sea witches. Who, what, or where these witches were, no one knew. But no one sought them out either. The avarice of a mad king leads to the folly of a kingdom. Only a single turret survived the catastrophe, a single tower which protrudes outwardly from a boundless ocean, rumored to house the very creature which wreaked havoc and devastation. Sailors are warned to give the relic a wide berth, for few who have seen the tower ever return to speak the tale, and none who have approached it ever have. Do not approach the tower, they said…

"How could you screw up the world this badly?" That's the question Billy the God finds himself asking when he looks upon his First World. Billy needs to get into World Building High, the top school when it comes to building and designing worlds of all shapes and sizes. And they're very strict with who they let in. Billy is one of the students expected to get in, but the school evaluates all the worlds a God's made during their entire life. And Billy's first world is everything that the school abhors. Billy's only hope for getting in? He has to raise a team from his world, comprising of the best of the best. To steal the system of another world and use it to replace his own, dooming the other in the process. The team he's created from his world's inhabitants? A BloodThirsty Crusader with more orphan murdering than 7th circle demons. An Orc prodigy of blood magic who faints at the first bit of gore she sees. A drunk Warlock who's responsible for the reason why most wizards are dead. A tax evader Druid who got her hand's on the 9th Edition of Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. And a Blind Dragon Born Ranger, Druid, Sorciesta with a gun. Yep, the only way this could possibly get worse is if the world they were stealing the system from belonged to Principal Sieva, the woman who managed to murder (temporarily) another god. Oh, wait. 8 223To The Far Shore
Post apocalyptic Oregon Trail. The apocalypse has come and gone. And come back again, and left again... nobody really knows how often. Nothing lasts forever, but nothing is ever completely gone. Which is a shame for young Mazelton, as his family has been around a terribly long time, and made an astonishing amount of enemies. Millenia's worth. So he has to run- from mobs, cannibals, soldiers, sailors, cholera, cattle, thieving sales-monks, starvation, mechanical horrors, vengeful spirits, negotiating your own marriage, and poison of every sort. Fortunately, his not terribly nice family has trained him well in the arts of core polishing. Or as you and I might know it- turning radioactive pellets into useful tools. And weapons. Updates Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Usual defensive tags applied. The goal isn't exactly family friendly, but you have probably seen worse on network TV. After the watershed. Not full blown HBO, let's say. This is the first novel I am sharing publicly, so feedback is very much appreciated and encouraged. Act 1 of the novel is completed, but do please let me know what works, what doesn't, and what you would like to see more of. Thank you, and Enjoy!
