《Monastis Monestrum》Part 2, Run away sister: Burden

Kamila grabbed Zoe’s shoulders, picked her up, and tossed her into the hallway, following the soldier’s trajectory into the darkness. “Do you feel shame?” Kamila half-shouted. “Fear?” She bent down, grabbing Zoe’s arms even as the soldier tried to raise them. “Do you feel anything?”
“I’m… a good soldier,” Zoe said, breath catching in her throat. “I do what’s needed… to make my life…”
“What’s needed?” Kamila picked Zoe up, so that her feet trailed just above the ground.
“I live with honor…”
“Is there honor in being a slave?” Kamila threw Zoe against the wall again. “A slave who kills?”
“…to make my life…” Zoe croaked.
“You’re a slave to a murderer!”
“…possible…”
“A slave!”
Slam.
“I’m freer than you’ll ever be,” Zoe spat, feeling her consciousness begin to fade. Kamila’s voice was growing more distant, and her ears were beginning to ring. She could barely even see her assailant now. But… “I’m freer than you’ll ever be.” She tried to remember how she’d gotten here. Something had gone wrong in the village… a fight against the locals?
Marga fell down from the ceiling, claws reaching for Zoe’s throat
She coughed, staring up at Kamila. “I’m…” Her voice caught.
“I thought you were a monster,” Kamila said. “Now I realize that you’re just pathetic. You thought you needed to use me to do your duty. You couldn’t even manage that, huh?”
“I’m a good soldier…” Zoe whispered.
Marga stared at her across the field. Heart’s blood on the rock –
“I’m free…”
“A slave!” Kamila shouted again, and Zoe felt her body shake. Dust and tiny pieces of stone rained down atop her head. Kamila withdrew her gauntleted fist from the wall, leaning toward Zoe again.

“I shouldn’t have tried to use you, Kamila. I should have listened to Fatih. Killed everyone.” She laughed. “I gave you that chance because I thought… if we just got rid of Mirshal…”
“The chance you gave me was sadistic, whether you know it or not.” Kamila bent down in front of Zoe, looked her in the eyes. Zoe’s vision was so unfocused she could barely see the Valer’s face, the wreath of wild, unkempt hair, freed from its braid by the fight. It obscured Kamila’s whole face, made it little more than a blur of colors. “But I’m taking the one chance I really have now. And I’m taking her with me – whether she can forgive me or not. And if any of your friends try to follow us, they’ll end up dead like you.”
Kamila threw Zoe against the wall again with her full strength, and this time the soldier did not move after she slumped down. Her eyes fluttered shut, and blood and saliva trickled down from the corner of her mouth. Kamila turned and walked back into the office, stepping over Plato’s corpse, not bothering to check Zoe’s pulse. She felt she could smell her own adrenaline. Wordlessly, she bent down next to Hilda. The younger Zelenko was still conscious, watching everything around her with the dim interest of the barely-lucid. Kamila wrapped her arms around her sister and picked her up, carrying her over her own back. She went to the front door of her father Stepan’s library, peered out the door, and checked for anyone approaching. No one in sight. Kamila shouldered her burden, stepped outside, and ran for the pass northeast.
For the long road to Kivv.

The Nightcore Trilogy
Going to space was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime, but for Reece Danielson and his crew, it was only the beginning. As the fresh astronauts aboard the Zhengzhou International Space Station start their on-the-job training, Reece is shown a discovery that changes his entire worldview. It isn’t long before a tragic accident aboard the station sets off a series of events that not only puts the crew in danger but at odds with each other. The events quickly escalate into a man-made apocalyptic incident on the surface of the planet. A virulent plague is prematurely released which transforms everyone into flesh-eating undead, and that is only the beginning of the troubles. There are far worse things down there than zombies and possibly a few of them lurk on the station itself. The Nightcore Trilogy thematically begins with a heavy sci-fi feel coupled to a gritty space-based horror mystery. The story's layers are slowly peeled back, evolving into something much more supernatural, mythological, and high-fantasy-based. It's a mix of elements from survival horror, zombie apocalypses, ancient mythologies, supernatural stories, and harem anime. It contains semi-descriptive sex scenes (traditional and non-traditional), descriptions of gore, profanity, and adult situations, so I recommend it for mature and open-minded audiences only.

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream
Dying was unpleasant, but coming back to life? How was that even possible? And what are these words that keep appearing before me? This...isn't how life works. Maybe I'm insane. I guess it's time to find out. If I die, will I come back again? Thanks for reading! Please leave a rating or a review! Knowing people are enjoying the story really encourages me to write more. Also, I apologize for the typos. When I get the time, I'll go back and fix them, but they may linger at times. I don't have lots of time for writing, so I'm not always able to do much editing before posting.

The Chronicles of The Green wizard
Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. However, on the night of his first full moon, as a baby he disappeared from his cot. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side. Wizards from all the continents visited the glade to see the child who had bound a familiar to his will as a babe. At age seven, Garion left his home glade and travelled the world studying to become a recognised guilded wizard. After many years he was granted the title of Wizard and was sent forth to advise, learn and ponder on behalf of the guild. After a while, Garion was assigned to a small nation within the vast continent mainly populated by man-folk known as The Patchwork kingdoms.
