《Supreme Empire》Chapter 22 A Nuke!

Although Alfred is not gone yet even after so many attempts, I have made this place much more secure using scrap metal that couldn't be used.
"Huff finally I have finished making a miniature nuclear reactor"
In front of William stood a 15-foot-tall cylinder-type shape with a complex structure.
[William did I ever mention you are mad, you could have made a strong bomb why did you decide to make a fucking nuclear bomb]
"Damn but isn't that quite a common thing for mc characters who add technology to fantasy right guys, just make a bomb yayy, well I'm just built differently I guess"
[...]
[What are you talking about and who are you talking to ]
"Who knows"
"Anyway it's time to make a nuclear bomb but from the looks of it I only have 100 kg worth of metal to do after all I already have the shell of it which is as long as my arm"
~
"Emma this is mad you know I've just made the world's first nuclear bomb ever, well time erase this shitty forest"
William took a big leather backpack and stored the 100 kg nuke in it and exited the workshop.
William looked towards Alfred who was currently sleeping and just to be sure William had even gone as far as to add sleeping pills to his food today just for this.
"Alright it's time to head out to Mania forest but first it would be best to visit dad to see how the situation is"
William sheathed his sword and hopped onto a horse and rode it towards his house.
~
While William was riding the horse he came across a destroyed city but what really got to William was the gory in his sight.
*barf*
"What the hell who did this to these humans"
William asked loudly as he looked around.
"Huh tho I'm surprised even though I puked at first it seems my body has already gotten used to such a gory sight"

While William was walking looking for someone alive something moving caught his eyes so William quickly rushed towards it.
"Sir don't worry I'll get you help just hang in there for a bit okay" William looked at the barely alive man.
"Yo..young mas..ter is.. that.. you!"
Although deranged William understood what this near-dead knight had just said.
"You know who I am?"
"Young ..mas..ter ha...Haha... I wa..s the..first...per..so..n yo..u..sp..are...d...with for ..the... fi..rst..ti.. me"
William looked closely at the man's face trying to remember him and it finally clicked William remembered who this near-dead man in his arms is.
"Wait..wait don't die on me man cmon stay strong I'll get you to help don't die on me!!"
William said with fear and a mix of other emotions in his eyes.
*cough* *cough*
William looked at the man as he coughed blood out of his mouth with wide eyes.
"Hey...HEY STAY WITH ME!"
"you..ng..ma..ster..th..e ...mons.. ters...retr..et.ed!"
The dying soldier said with a smile that broke out filled with pride on his face.
All William could do was look at the dying man and smiled back with a wry smile saying.
"You have served well soldier may rest in peace you have fulfilled your duty as a soldier!"
As William said that he noticed the man's relaxed smile and his hands lifelessly falling to the ground.
If one looked closely they could see a small tear run down Williams's face.
"This is reality huh if I had just listened none of these people would have died afterall they to must have had a family of their own but now they have lost their lives here"
"Huh I never thought I'd be saying this but it looks like this world is a world where the strong prey on the weak, I should have realized that already but... I was too caught up in my fairy tail to realise this fact"

"I must get stronger I want to have the strength to protect my family and kill all these monsters with my hands alone but I'm too weak right now "
William looked in a direction with dedication in his eyes and got on the horse.
~
William soon came towards the entrance of the forest where the horse refused to enter probably because of the fear it felt for its life.
William hoped of the horse and leashed it to a nearby tree as he looked at the forest where he once almost died.
William looked at it and walked into the forest.
"LISTEN UP OVERLORD OF MANIA FOREST I THE SON OF THE GRAND DUKE DEMAND A MEETING NOW BEFORE WE ATTACK THE FOREST!!"
William suddenly shouted.
He waited for a response for a few minutes but didn't get one so he started pulling out the nuke he had made but before he pulled it out completely he heard Loud thuds before a Large monster 4 times the size of William with a head of a bull and on it's back a tortoiseshell and explosive muscles on its body while standing in two legs with feet of bulls
*gulp*
'Why did I have to call him out!'
"What is it that you want human"
It said in a deep rough voice.
*gulp*
'I really shouldn't have called him out
"Listen up I wish to ask you to call off your monsters and not harm the normal humans!"
William shouted confidently.
"Oh and since when did a puny human think that he had the rights to talk to me the overlord of this forest in such a manner when it was you humans that broke the treaty you proposed in the first place"
"That fool indeed needs to be punished after all it was an unknowledgeable adventure who didn't know anything"
William lied to the monster through teeth as if it was as easy as breathing for him.
[You are a natural liar]
"Huh that sounds like your problem to me you should have thought your race better get out of my sights before I kill"
William could only nod and walk away.
"And don't forget the only reason you have kept your life today is because you are the son of the Grand Duke!"
When William heard that he felt cold chills creep up on his back.
William walked away a bit distance and looked back and saw that the overlord was not there anymore.
"Well really I tried to end it with peace but since you don't want to I guess you leave me a choice"
William said with a crazy look in his eyes as he pulled out the nuke.
He used nearly all of the mana in his body and strengthened his arms with which he held the heavy nuke and aimed at the forest and launched it towards the forest.
Without seeing the results William turned around and ran at full speed.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
A huge mushroom cloud appeared in the forest and strong air waves swept through the forest and hit William sending him who was already going at fast speeds flying.
*Rooooooaaaaar*
Was the last thing William heard before he turned his nid flight and saw the large explosion covering the middle of the forest.
William grinned as he shouted.
"I fucking made that get fucked you ugly as monster HAHAHAHAH!!!"
William laughed maniacal as he looked at the destroyed forest with neatly no corpses present in it because they all got wiped away only the stronger monster like the sub-bosses and overlord's corpses were visible but mostly destroyed.
~
William calmed himself down after 10 minutes as he quickly realized that he has no ride back to the warehouse.
"Shit I was too excited to think of that!"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
