The grey wolf who I'm guessing is the pack leader as well as a rare ranked creature looked at me and howled following him all of the wives there started Howling giving of a very dominating feeling to William.

William stood there with a sword in hand and looked at the wolves

All the wolves suddenly started charging towards William

"Let the games begin!"

William slashed at the closest wolf hitting its neck and moved his sword to slash at another wolf that charged at him

A wolf jumped behind him and tried to slash him on his back but William did a mid-air sideways flip around the claws and slashed the wolf's hand in midair but unfortunately, there were too many wolves rushing towards him

William stood there listening to the sound of the wolves rushing towards him creating a heavy sound on the ground

He simply looked at all of this with determination in his eyes and thought 'if I wanna go back home I've gotta fight my way through this'

A wave of maybe 20-40 rushed towards him William started using his warrior mana and used all of the stored mana he has and put it into his stamina

"This is gonna be a long day"

William rushed into this wave of wolves slashing and stabbing his way through it

After God knows how long William stood there covered in blood, one wouldn't be able to tell the difference between his blood to the wolf's blood, in front of him stood a white Wolf giving of a majestic aura

This scene of him was very disturbing yet amazing to see scene because of the contrast of William standing covered in blood with dead wolf bodies surrounding him and a pool of blood in contrast to the majestic white-furred wolf.

At the same time, William and the wolf rushed toward each other William lifted his sword and slashed at the wolf but the wolf dodged it and bit into William's waist and pulled it

*Arghhh!*

William but his lips to stop him from screaming and slashed at the wolf but the wolf was already gone

'I guess this is the difference between a mortal and a rare'

The wolf looked at William with mockery and rushed towards William again aiming for his left hand

William saw that happening and internally screamed and used all the brain power he could to make his body keep up with the wolf by providing it with all the nutrients stored in his body William avoided the attack and quickly slashed at the wolf but unfortunately, he could barely damage it

William bit his teeth and decided to enhance his sword with mana and slashed at the wolf again.

This time he had the penetrating power but still couldn't keep up with the wolf's speed.

"Damit what do I need "

Suddenly William thought of something and decided to use the mana little mana in his body and made it rush towards his brain

[William don't that's very risky!]

A penetrating pain suddenly went through William's head and he grabbed it and knelt on the floor writhing in pain

The wolf was surprised by William's weird behaviour but soon it thought that William had given up so it started walking slowly towards the screaming William

After the pain finally subsided William felt a cooling sensation in his head and then he felt as if he could sense everything happening in his body the flowing of blood the damages, He could sense it all.

William raised his head to look at the domineering wolf walking towards him, William grit his teeth and tightened his grip over his sword and enhanced it with nearly all the mana he had left and made his brain proceeding speed increase as high as he could and ran at full speed towards the wolf

The wolf growled and rushed towards the bloody William.

William slashed at the wolf's neck and the wolf raised its claws and slashed at William's chest

The two stood on opposite ends without looking back

*thud*

*splurt*

The wolf fell down bleeding while a cut opened up on William's chest causing blood to spray out like a fountain causing him to fall back to the ground unconscious

After a lot of time later William finally woke up but when he woke up he felt as if he didn't just go through a fight that could have ended him, He felt Refreshed

"How did this even happen I'm still in the forest"

[Well I had to activate the Emergency Recovery for you to recover from your near-death state but in exchange, I had to use a lot of your energy but since you didn't have any I had to wait until your body got enough energy by supplying your body with mana which resulted in you sleeping for 4 days]

"What!!"

"But I'm still in the forest how come I wasn't attacked while asleep"

[Well a part of the Emergency Recovery is the fact that it creates a protective shield around you using the natural mana in the air effectively making you invisible to beasts around you]

"Well that's a nice feature"

Looking around all William could see was eaten corpses and the ground which was dyed in blood.

"By the way what was up with the white wolf?"

[That white wolf is considered a sub-boss in this forest]

"That's crazy, then how strong is the boss?"

"I should hurry back home my parents must be going crazy over me not returning for so many days but first I need to clean myself up"
