A visible bulge appeared on William's head.
'Pricks'
"Yes! indeed I did that however before you judge, this person who claims to be the first son of count Graham came up to me and disrespected me the son of the Grand Duke of this great empire! So let me ask you do you think it's wrong for me to punish such uneducated people about some etiquette?"
While William was saying that very honestly with such righteousness he managed to turn everyone's opinions about him into a better light and showed this guy and another guy *Cough the prince Cough* that's trying to mess with him here is that he will not stand for it and just take it. (like some novels MC)
"As a matter of fact, he deserves more"
*splash*
"Now if you'll excuse me," William said looking over to the guy who guy whose name he didn't care enough to remember and then at the prince, then he walked away to a corner table with food.
After that luckily no one came up to him letting William enjoy a bit of quietness.
------
*A music band starts playing*
'Well I guess it's finally time for the Awakening ceremony I ate so much of the delicious food on this table that they have already refilled it twice'
[I'm pretty this is what you call binge eating cause you're annoyed]
'Shut it I'm not annoyed'
[....really]
'You!....'
~
"Let me welcome the Emperor of the great GloryField Empire and his Daughter Princess Amelia Gloryfield," said a brown-haired looking man.
The doors behind him opened up to the Emperor alongside a young girl with blond hair and green eyes looking like the Emperor.
'God just looking at her I can already confidently say she's gonna be flat'

[ how do you even know that and what's wrong with flat]
'Well call it instinct if you will and to answer your question about flats Well there just meh'
[....]
The Emperor went ahead and sat on a chair befitting an Emperor prepared for him.
"Alright, you may start the ceremony!"
The princess went over to the 'Awakening platform' and sat on it and started to try and sense mana.
~
When William was just laying around waiting for something to happen a greyish light shone out but the weird thing was that it had hints of white in it
'!!!'
'Emma is that the legendary rank!'
[can you calm down first, No that's more like a half step into the legendary rank just like the current Emperor however getting even halfway into the legendary rank is considered impossible for humans so they just think it's an abnormality with apparently no side effects but rather benefits as anyone who has that has a faster cultivation speed]
'Wait so are you telling me that I can't get into the legendary stage all 'cause I'm human!'
[...]
[You can't be that stupid]
'What?'
[Sigh...did you forget about the Adaptable body you have, you won't have any issues no matter how high ranked you get cause your body can simply adapt]
'...'
'Also I thought the emperor had a light grey light'
[That person you heard it from must not have paid any attention to it as its a bit irrelevant to the ignorant masses]
After the light receded into her wrists loud clapping broke out.
The emperor stood up from his place and walked up to congratulate the princess.
"Thank you everyone for attending my daughter's awakening ceremony please enjoy yourselves,
'It seems the emperor dotes on the princess a lot and looking at the prince's face...Well at least something interesting will happen

William started walking away with a smirk on his face but unfortunately for him, the emperor noticed that and frowned.
But no one knows what he is currently thinking.
William rode back home without anything special happening and began training once again but this time things didn't remain boring in William's life because he had finally received permission to go outside alone by himself.
~
" William make sure you don't go to Mania forest as there are many dangerous beasts there"
"Okay mom I'll be careful outside, and won't visit it," William said while wearing a cloak with a real sword in it.
William then headed outside of the area of his precedence and started speeding away towards a forest.
'Sorry, mom!'
~
In front of him stood a wide expanse of luscious trees they were about 6-7 meters tall and 1meter thick with a lot of green leaves on it making almost look like a deformed afro.
"Alright so this is Mania Forest I've heard there are monsters in here up to Rare tier so I shouldn't encounter any monsters above mortal if I just stay on the outside region"
William started walking into the forest surrounded by trees and roots, He hadn't walked far when he started to hear the rustling of bushes and snarls.
William at first froze up but pulled out his sword and tightened the grip of his sword
He got into the stance he was thought before when he used to spar with Ried and the knights.
*Grrrrr*
From the Bush, beside him, a 2-meter big grey mixed with white coloured wolf jumped out ferociously and bit towards his head.
'Crap why is it so big!!'
William quickly dodged to the side and slashed at the wolf but it was fast and he missed it
*grrr* *woof* *woof*
"What are you looking at shit head"
*bark*
The wolf started rushing towards William and lifted its front paw to slash at William's chest.
'Shit did it understand what I said'
William dodged it and slashed his sword at the exposed bottom of the wolf creating a gash with blood flowing out.
*whimper*
"Is that all you got"
*awooooooo*
"Wait suddenly I don't feel so good anymore"
Suddenly a lot of growls could be heard all around William
"Shit"
William rushed towards the injured wolf and slashed its neck ending it.
William was in a small opening in the forest where he fought the now dead wolf, the place got surrounded by wolves all snarling and glaring at William like he was food
William looked around him and realized that right now he was completely surrounded by grey wolves but that was not all he also saw a wolf nearly double the size of the grey wolves with white fur glaring at him as if he had killed its son or something
'Wait....'
[...]
'I'm so fucked!'

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law.
