Out There

It's been 2 years since I began sparring with the family knights and I can confidently say that none of them can defeat me now also the fact that I'm gonna turn 8 tomorrow

Then I will finally be able to use Mana and find out more about what it is because in the books available in the library there is no in detail description about mana its just the basics I had learned previously

William exited his room and started heading towards the training grounds and like usual he passed through the hall on the way and saw tables and decorations being set but looking at it now, compared to James's awakening ceremony mine seems to feel grander

"Hey, Alfred is there anyone special coming for my ceremony tomorrow?"

"Haha young master unfortunately I have been informed that I can't let you specifically know as it's going to be a surprise"

Hearing what Alfred said William half-jokingly asked "what is the emperor coming?"

Alfred didn't continue speaking but his face told me all I needed to know I asked that question knowing that only the emperor who is higher than dad can be considered a surprise but it surely is one as the emperor never leaves his place to attend parties of ceremonies of others 'I don't know I just find this emperor actions very sus

While walking down the hallway I met with James surprisingly, as usual, I tried to start a conversation but he coldly ignored me but I even felt a hint of animosity in his eyes 'I wonder what's wrong with him'

James then headed to the training grounds where he met Ried but this time instead of a casual conversation William challenged Ried to a sword fight

"Young master are you sure about this I know you are strong but I'm on a different level from them"

"It's fine I don't want to fight with brute strength but I want to improve my sword technique "

After William said that he went to the swords rack and picked a wooden long sword and warmed himself up and Reid did the same

"Are you ready young master? First one to get hit"

"Yep let us begin"

I rushed at Reid and slashed my sword diagonally down to his left he clashed with my sword head-on and used that same momentum to slash at my neck to which I bent down enough to avoid the slash and attack ried from the bottom up to which he sidestepped and avoided and brought down his sword onto my back I quickly twisted my body at an angle to avoid the incoming slash and then embedded my sword into the ground and used it as a leverage to jump kick in the air at rieds chin and landed back on the ground

"Phew that was intense looks like you won young master"

"Haha you flatter me I could see that if you really wanted you could have avoided my trick"

"That's true I could have but you showed that you understand that on a battlefield the goal is to win and not about fairness and you showed that you understand the concept so I let you win to let you know that this can also happen to you and you can be on the receiving end and what would happen in real battles"

"Thank you, sir and all the soldiers you all have been a great help"

At the entrance of the training grounds, we can see a blond-haired boy looking at William and Reid "how is this even possible! How is he so strong why if he awakens tomorrow and has better talent than me doesn't that mean that I can be replaced as the next head of the house! , no I cannot let that happen but what should I do!!"

After William thanked everyone he left the training grounds to go meet his mother and father and later he reached back to his room

While starting at the sunset William asked Emma "what is out there beyond this continent it seems that the humans here never seem to care about what's out there and beyond the sea"

William still remembers when he was not born yet and the system wasn't established yet it's had said while initializing something about world scan

[William out there are monsters and creatures so powerful that humans of this can't even begin to imagine their powers]

"If that's the case then why haven't they invaded us why have the same humans on this continent never even seem to know there exists such powerful things out there"

[William all I can say is that they are already busy with each other and humans are just that weak and useless in their eyes if even one of those races decided to invade humans there would be nothing the humans could do to stop it]
