"Young Master your parents are waiting for you at the door they are asking you to come "

"Yes yes I'm on my way"

William exited his room and rushed towards the front door where he saw his parents who were dressed very royally befitting the title of Grand Duke while James was wearing a similar dress to mine but he had a golden fur on his shoulder cape along with a black thread and he also had a band with the house insignia signifying that he is the next head of the house

"Hey will are you ready to go," Dad asked while signalling for the carriages to be prepared

"Yes dad I'm ready"

"Will this will be your first time riding a carriage won't it?" Mom said as a carriage came led by 2 horses

"It will be I'm excited to experience it" After I said that I noticed weird expressions appearing on my parent's faces as they looked at each other

"Wait what's that look supposed to mean"

This time it was James who spoke " Don't worry about it" he said that while looking at me with an annoying smirk

For Some reason, I don't think I'm going to enjoy this ride

(5 hours later)

I f**kin hate carriages! They are so damn bumpy I feel like I dislocated my ass or something

After this bumpy journey, we finally arrived at the imperial city the walls surrounding this city were huge like 10 meters tall

When the people saw the insignia of our carriage they immediately made space and let us through and so did the city guards

After we were inside we saw a beautiful scene of children playing and people selling items but on the way to the palace we also saw the homeless people in the alleyways

After a bit we finally arrived at a massive palace, we were let through after a guard saw my parents in the carriage and we smoothly road towards the entrance of this giant palace

After we got off the carriage we were led by a maid to a well-decorated door with nights standing guard

One of the knights went into the door to announce our presence to the Emperor

After we entered the throne room we saw a luxurious hall to which at the end of it was a good-looking man with short blonde hair and sharp green eyes my mom told me about this man seeing as he is sitting on the throne I'm guessing that is the Emperor Charles Gloryfield and besides him stood a much younger looking boy with blonde hair and violet eyes who I'm guessing is Edward Gloryfield

"Welcome to the imperial palace Albert and grace you're looking as healthy as ever"

"Haha Charles your not looking so bad your self"

They seem like they are friends

"Sorry for not attending your kid's ceremony, James am I right you should work hard seeing as you are the next Grand Duke of my empire "

"Yes Highness I will work hard"

"Why don't you both go with my son to the garden and talk"

Mom quietly whispered into our ears 'Be careful with what you say'

Hmmm there seems to be more going on here

We both just nodded our heads and followed Edward outside the room, while we were walking Edward suddenly asked "so what's your Names" he said that with very obvious pride in his voice

I kinda got annoyed but still said my name After James did

After that, we were led to the garden which was so pretty it even had a whole fountain

"Okay listen up I'm going to be the next Emperor and as you are the kids of the grand Duke I am reluctantly willing to give you an offer of you being my subordinate"

Before I could even say anything

James said "Since you are the next Emperor I am willing to be the subordinate of the future emperor"

U looked at James confused as to when he became such a kiss ass

"What about you kid"

" first of all my name is William and I would like to consider"

"What's there to even consider I am basically a confirmed candidate for the Emperor position"

"Well there is also a possibility of your younger sister becoming the empress"

"That's not possible so are you willing?"

"I already told you I need time to consider "

"Are you planning on betraying the empire! I shall personally deliver such a criminal to jail"

Thus f**kin shit when did I say I want to betray the empire has he got craps for brains

Edward started rushing toward me William and clenched his fist and punched William

William saw the punch coming and dodged it by a hair breath and quickly punched Edward's stomach with all his strength pushing the running Edward back onto the ground and he passed out

James ran up to me and shouted " Do you know what you have just done you could have killed the empire's prince!!"

"But this guy rushed at me what do you want me to do and it's not even my fault that a full-on awakened is weaker than me a non-awakened"

As they were talking they heard a panicked and angry voice rush past William and go to Edward

William stood there thinking damn I didn't even see a shadow of the Emperor just now I only felt the wind movements!!

The Emperor turned his head and looked at us and coldly asked who did this James stepped forward

Oh my God I can't believe my brother is about to snitch on me

"Your Highness Prince Edward wanted to challenge William to a fight and William defeated him"

This snitch!!

Mom and dad also rushed over to the scene and after hearing James they worriedly asked me if I was okay, I looked at them gratefully and said that I was fine

The Emperor stood up and said "looks like we have to cut this meeting short since the journey must have been exhausting why don't you follow the maid to your rooms to take a rest"

We followed the maid who lead us to a room which mom and dad went in and then to James's room by the time we were done reaching my room it had already been an hour

God just how big is this place

(The next day)

We met the Emperor again and he said that it was fine and was nothing but childish squabbles

Huh I guess he is an Emperor for a reason after that we were led to a dining place where we ate I excused myself from the table and went to the washroom, on the way back I spotted the Emperor who walked up to me and said

"Hey William I would like to apologize for my son's actions the other day "

"No need to apologize haha"

"Yes there as he is my son I would like to apologize as a father here this is a rare magic dagger which can be used to protect yourself"

Looking at the dagger with a silverish glow coming from the blade looking very sharp I thought about it and accepted the dagger as it is something given by the Emperor to apologize and how often does an Emperor lower themselves to apologize so it would be rude not to accept it

After the rest of the family finished eating we were sent off by the Emperor and as we exited I saw a very vicious enemy of mine Carriages! I miss cars so much!!
