《The Last Demon : Against The World》The tournament continues.

Swishes creeped upon ears as swords left behind traces of blue.
Jack smiled in satisfaction as his badge lit up and a horn sounded.
The game was over.
The participants soon found themselves lifted by a mysterious force remaining or eliminated before they could even begin to rest.
Jack sighed as he was practically thrown into a completely random room of pure white. Several injured and fatigued competitors could be seen. A strong voice broke the awkward atmosphere formed from being in a state of constant anxiousness for hours.
"Now now, I'm sure that everyone would love to have some nice old rest. Unfortunately we are losing viewer interest rates rapidly and we have noticed a pattern over the years so unfortunately we will also be beginning the next game right away."
Jack almost choked as he heard this.
"Eh?"
The strong voice cut in once again.
"Remember to pick your energy elixir on the way out. don't want you guys feeling all tired!"
Deylor blinked as he found himself in a castle with his four teammates. After essentially being kicked out of the rest zone the competitors were told that they were to play a game called capture the castle. In theory a member of each team would hold the castle core and if they were eliminated so was the castle. Each castle also had an extra core that could be destroyed for victory. The team of 5 had swiftly decided to give the core to the member with the highest defense. That being Cylia who could form Mud clones and create advanced mud creations such as walls and complicated defenses.
And now Deylor found himself dashing around a grassy field in enemy territory as he looked for an enemy core.
Deylor quickly dove into the grass as he retracted his red aura.

In the distance a figure could be seen dashing forward. Deylor immediately noted the use of water as his opponent, a male with blue hair waving from the wind surfed towards his base.
Deylor quickly pointed his finger as he squinted his eyes.
Miss.
A thin line of red aura could be seen slightly in front of the blue haired boy.
The boy instinctively released a large wave of water that drenched the surroundings. Deylor hiding in the surroundings immediately dashed forward. A thin crescent of water flew forth.
Deylor matched the crescent with a dense red crescent.
The two moon shaped attacks met with equal force before they both collapsed on themselves.
Deylor intended to finish this fast, he coated his fingers in red before he released his now signature grand cross of red.
A red X crashed towards the enemy before it was met by a vast wall of water. The water collapsed on itself and fell apart as it was torn by the grand cross. Deylor wasted no time as he swiftly flashed across the grassy plains his red fists soon enclosed on his enemy.
An impact was felt and then nullified. Deylor watches his opponent suddenly deform into water that swam down the grassy field. Deylor prepared for the worst as he tried to dodge.
Tried.
Deylor felt his energy being sucked away as he failed to dodge. An incoming water spear threatened his end. Deylor dodged at the cost of a huge amount of energy. Deylor panted as two figures came close to him. Deylor urged his body to move as he lifted half his arm up but his arm slowly fell as he panted heavier.
"How does my ability feel?" A dark haired boy sniggered as he ambled towards Deylor.
The two boys came close.

Deylor moved instantly unminding of his rapidly decreased energy. He moved his right arm and hand with inhumane speed as he pointed. A straight red line of dense red energy formed.
The two boys met their end.
Fizzle.
The red line stopped centimeters short.
Deylor gulped.
The two boys heaved sighs of relief as they enclosed on Deylor.
The blue haired boy wiped the sweat off his brow as he snapped his finger.
The two boys collapsed into water before heavy footsteps emerged behind the floored Deylor.
Deylor grimaced as two healthy individuals walked behind him.
"Keeping that ability up sure hits hard..." The boy with blue hair spoke as he stretched his arms.
"You okay Dart?."
"Dart?."
"Dar-?!"
Two energy shields formed.
The blue haired boy cursed.
"You bastard you tri-!"
Deylor smirked. Indeed, this whole time he had made sure to only exhaust a section of his energy before he had just enough energy to shoot half a red beam. Deylor knew it would be a tough fight if all his attacks met water and not flesh.
Deylor got up calmly as he once again dashed across the grassy planes. Two thin lines of red could be seen fading away.
Meanwhile...
A purple haired telekinesis cursed as all her objects were cleaved in half by flying swords.
The sound of objects hitting the ground resounded inside the castle.
"Damn it... Take this!"
The girl closed her eyes as a huge boulder flew rapidly. Jack merely closed his eyes as it lay a meter in front of him.
Several swords flashed from opposite sides before the huge boulder became table rubble.
"Bye." Jack muttered but a word as he slowly left and swords rushed forth.
Meanwhile...
Talen had alway been an aspiring fire mage. Due to his love for adventure and power as well as his personal ability he had managed to make the big screen and now he had breached the enemy castle to take the core and the crown for himself.
"TAKE THIS!" Talen screamed in glory as he released his hellblazer cannon which could vaporize tier 4 beasts.
Adriana sighed as her fingers twirled.
A scorched boy burnt black flew back to the medical room as he cried pitifully.
Meanwhile...
A boy with short red hair shivered inside a lonely castle. His teammates gone and his only ability being wailing barrier had been not the most reassuring. The boy braced himself.
Deylor and Jack stared at the castle in front of them as they prepared for the final clash.
"You ready Deylor?"
"Born ready."
The two worked in seriously before an air horn stopped their steps.
"The opposing team has forfeited, your team passes on.
The red-haired boy prepared for his final beating as he walked in shivers. He either lost in pain or sweat and he wasn't a fan of either.
Deylor and Jack began conversing before they saw the next gamemode.
Their hearts clenched.
Next game: All country free-for-all.
The reason? A decline in viewership had forced the supervisors of the continent cup to make it a day and only 3 events. The crown was now shined and ready.
Ready for a new host.
"Boss. our plans will have to move forward."
"Good, I was tired of waiting."
A bulky man covered in heavy armor and a black pig mask lifted himself up.
Several figures walked out.
A disaster surfaced.

Art of Mortality
New Synopsis after chapter 56: Long long ago, there was a mortal who despised the gods and envied the immortals. Why do the mortals have to die when the gods wish them to? Why do worlds have to perish when the gods say so? Why do only immortals get to live forever, why not mortals like him? As his family, friends, and his loved one died, he lamented. He wailed, he cried. He cursed the immortals, blasphemed the gods, spat at the heavens. But he was just a mere mortal. His curses were pointless, his blasphemous words were useless, and his spits only returned back to fall on his face. At last, he thought, enough was enough, he would definitely do something about it. He decided that it was time for the multiverse to know what a mortal can do. He was the first mortal to cultivate. Eventually, after a long struggle, he killed the Immortals, enslaved the Gods, and shattered the heavens. He reshaped the multiverse and rewrote his fate. In the end, he reincarnated as he decided upon a grand scheme, a scheme to rule 'All and Always'. He came up with the concept of what is known today as 'Paragon'. And with this, all of reality, 'All and Always', was finally reforming, according to a Mortal's Wish. Synopsis (Old): In the vast and complex multiverse, what can a mortal accomplish? In the grand scheme of things, what can a mortal change? In truth, what is a mortal, and what is mortality? Being mortal is being ordinary, the same as being trash, or so says The World. "No, mortality is an art, and a true mortal is a grand artist. Being the root of all, a mortal can become anything.", says a young mortal boy. Meet Edward Alexander, a mortal boy walking the path against gods and immortals, fighting to the end to rewrite his destiny, and change the grand scheme of things. Can he really change the grand scheme of things? Or maybe he himself is the Grand Schemer? To know the answer, follow Edward Alexnder on his journey to demonstrate the Art of Mortality.*******
