“Can you see it anywhere Miko?” I shouted out, we made it to the bottom of the mountain, the wind was starting to pick up though.

“It’s not over here, Umi any luck?” Miko shouted back, we had split up in different directions to find Miko’s dagger

“Nope, nothing sorry” Umi replied, damn it, this is going to be a pain to find

“Papa Udon, the blizzard is starting to pick up” Vnaa was right, it didn’t seem natural how this blizzard was coming through, but then again, I wasn’t on earth so I had no idea what was natural or not.

“Master Udon! We should huddle back together” Miko shouted out, the blizzard was becoming real thick, I held on the Vnaa’s hand but couldn’t see Miko or Umi

“Sir Udon!” I heard Umi shout out, it was no help though, her voice echoed all around me like we were in a cave, what was going on

“Whaaa!”

“Umi!” I heard Umi scream out, this isn’t good, it was named the bad side of the mountain for a reason.

Barbegazi? Aren't they just snow gnomes basically, and they are in a tribe, that’s weird.

“Papa Udon” Vnaa shouted out, I felt a hard impact on the back of my head

“Did someone throw a rock at me?” I fell to me knees and immediately blacked out

“You weak worthless human! Succumb to your rage! Let your wrath take control and wreak havoc upon this world! That Ghost Seed shall be my way to break up you and your party!”

“Oww” I woke up, my head was still pounding, I looked around trying to regain my focus

“Huh” I couldn’t move, my hands had been tied behind a pole and my legs had a chain wrapped around them

“Sir Udon, you’re awake” I looked around to see Umi tied to a pole, the same as me.

“Master Udon, are you ok?” I could see Miko and Vnaa tied up as well, further down.

“Where are we?” I asked Miko staring around, it looked like a small warrior, snowy mountain village, the houses where circular huts, they looked similar to African Huts, they had target practices and wooden dummies scattered around, the Barbegazi were all surrounding the village, they were as I explained, just snow gnomes, small humanoid monsters with frozen white beards.

“You dare to trespass on my territory” Huh? A woman stepped out of the biggest hut in the village, this must be the chief. She had two small horns on her forehead, pale red eyes and long silky snow white hair, she wore a pale light blue Kimono…I’ve seen this lady some where before, but where?

“Our treaty with the human town of this floor, condones anyone that steps foot on this side of the mountain, you are here breaking that treaty, is it war the humans seek” Wait, what! War! I don’t want war! I only came to get Miko’s dagger that those overgrown squid threw

“Wait…”

“Yuki Onna?” Miko spoke cutting me off, did she know this person…Yuki Onna, as in The Woman of the Snow. Back in Japan she was the spirit of someone who perished in the snow, she is beautiful and serene, yet she’s ruthless in killing unsuspecting mortals.

“Lady Miko?” The woman turned to Miko speaking softly, I guess they did know each other

“It’s been so long, how have you been Yuki?” Miko started a cheerful conversation with our captor

“Oh my, it is you Lady Miko, how wonderful to see you, and in a human form, you look quite beautiful if I say so myself”

“Thank you, you look as gorgeous as the last time I saw you”

“Why thank you, you know me, always looking after my skin” The two girls continued their conversation and totally ignored us.

“This is getting ridiculous, does Miko not know we are being held against our will here?” I mumbled wriggling my leg so I could see my Ghost Seed.

“Thats the make up for fluoroantimonic acid I’m pretty sure, in my world anyway” I managed to wriggle the seed down to my leg and crushed it with the chains on my feet. The seed was crushed and unleashed a small amount of liquid acid melting the chains on my feet, 3 more seeds came out of the crushed seed as well.

“That managed to work, lucky I had to crush it or it’d melt through my skin” I kicked one of the seeds behind me and grabbed it with my hand, this will be harder, if I can wedge it between the rope and wooden post I might be able to crush it

“What is that!” The Barbegazi's shouted out, the acid had melted through the wooden post and it collapsed

“Sir Udon, you are free!” Umi exclaimed surprised

“Now then, what shall we do about this situation” I stood up and dusted the snow off me, I gave a wicked smile to the Barbegazi and held up one of the Corrosive Acid Seed.

“It can’t be” Yuki mumbled to herself, she was staring at the seed, did she know what this was.

“Let my comrades go, or you’ll pay with your life” I threw the seed at one of the wooden dummies, the seed exploded on impact resulting in the acid splattering over the dummy itself and the surrounding dummies.

“Whoops” I muttered to myself, I didn’t mean to cause that much damage

“Haaaa” The Barbegazi’s backed off, I managed to scare them, good

“What shell it be then” I turned back to them and picked up the other acid seeds

“W-who are you” One of Barbegazi shouted out, he was shaking in fear, this feels good, someone picked a fight with me without knowing how strong I was, I can finally fight back, oh yes, this will do nicely.

“This will go either one of two ways, the easy way, you untie my comrades and we walk out of here unharmed or the second way, you try and fight me and I do to you what I just did to those wooden dummies” I gave my ever improving wicked smile, all the Barbegazi dropped their spears and backed off petrified.

“Lady Miko, who is this human” Yuki turned to Miko who had her head down in embarrassment, what was her problem!

“Thats Master Udon, his a player”

“I see, and that seed” Yuki spoke to Miko

“Oi, do you not understand the situation you are in! Untie my comrades!”

“Oh, yes, yes, calm down please” Yuki waved her arms to the Barbegazi, they quickly untied Miko, Vnaa and Umi

“Lets dispose of these monsters Sir Udon” Huh, when did Umi get all fired up

“Please refrain yourselves from causing anymore damage to my village” Yuki stepped forward now guarding the Barbegazi

“We didn’t start this fight, we had no idea about a treaty” I responded, all I had to do was throw the seed now, if I mix it in with my shadow ball spell I could cover this whole village in acid

“Master Udon, stop!” Miko grabbed my arm pulling me back, what is this!

“Huh, what are you doing? They attacked us first, they must pay” I glared at Miko, I had it with people just attacking me without getting karma

“Rival Miko, they harmed Sir Udon, does that not make you furious” What was going on with Umi? She was never this fired up, no, she was never this eager to fight

“Umi you are only ready to fight because of the Ancient Siren Core, Yuki is an Ancient Floor Monster herself” Huh? That would explain the behaviour of Umi I suppose

“We will cause you no harm, but please tell me why you are down on this side of the mountain” Yuki took out a cherry blossom patterned fan and covered her mouth

“I’m not telling you anything, you should think harder before picking a fight with someone” I was riled up, that voice I heard in my head when I blacked out, it pissed me off! Calling me weak! I had it!

“Master Udon, please do not start a fight between Yuki, she is not one of your enemies” Miko tried to calm me down, I turned around and glared at her, I could feel the cynical look I was expressing. Miko was going to kill me here, team up with that old friend of hers

“M-master Udon” Miko backed off frightened

“S-sir Udon, p-please calm down” Umi was now on Miko’s side!

“Papa Udon” Vnaa tugged on my shirt, damn it! They are all turning on me!

“Papa Udon” Vnaa wrapped her arms around my waist

“Huh” I seemed too cool down, I hadn’t felt that rage before what is going on with me?

“Its ok, Vnaa” I ruffled Vnaa’s hair, she pulled herself off me and gave me one of her signature smiles

“Interesting, Lady Miko, why does this human have extreme trust issues” Huh? I turned to Miko who looked away, she looked upset

“I’m leaving” I snatched our bag off one of the Barbegazi

“I can not allow that human” Yuki waved her fan out and a gust of snow stopped my path

“I don’t have any trouble in turning this village into nothing but a pile of burnt wood” I held up the acid seeds threatening Yuki

“Please calm down your human Lady Miko”

“What did you just say!” The rage was back and before I realised what I had done, I threw one of the seeds at the hut Yuki walked out of

“Master Udon!”

“Protect Sir Udon!” Umi jumped next to me, at least Umi is willing to fight, Miko looked on astonished at my actions while Vnaa leaned against the post she was tied up to

“Please Yuki, don’t provoke Master Udon, his not a bad person just rude”

“Quiet Miko, these are our enemies!”

“That is quite enough human” Yuki waved her fan again blowing a harsh ice wind towards Umi and I sweeping us off our feet and crushing into the snow face first

“Is that all you have” I wiped the blood off my mouth and stood back up, I gave Yuki a cynical smirk

“We were on this side trying to find my dagger Yuki, please stop this!” Miko pleaded to Yuki, Yuki raised her head looking down on me, I’ll kill you!

“I see, so this dagger is yours then” Yuki pulled out Miko’s black and yellow dagger from her kimono

“Yes, some other players threw it down the mountain, we are not here to start a war” Miko explained to Yuki

“Hmm, why would you align yourself with such a weak human, even his familiar’s are quite weak”

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Ball”

I put one of the seeds into the Shadow Ball and shot it at Yuki. Anyone, anyone calls Vnaa weak will pay! It was clear she wasn’t going to let me, Umi or Vnaa out of here alive.

“Master Udon!” Miko shouted out watching the shadow ball hurling towards Yuki

“Tsk, how weak” Yuki clicked her tongue and waved her fan over the shadow ball, the ball was frozen solid then melted away into dust

“This isn’t going to end well for you human” Yuki prepared another attack

“Rival Miko, help us protect Sir Udon” Umi shouted out raising her Sea Trident

“Big Sister Miko?” Vnaa ran to my side and tilted her head puzzled at to why Miko wasn’t helping

“You’re true colours finally show, they attack us, hold us captive and even insult us, and you do nothing! What comrade are you!” I glared at Miko, I knew it was only a matter of time until she back stabbed me, all my rage that had been building up had finally exploded.

“Stop saying that Master Udon!” Miko screamed

“You are no use to me anymore, if you’re going to stand against me then you’ll be better back on floor 1” I focused on the contract between Miko and I

“Wait! Master Udon! Please don’t! Yuki is not our enemy!” Miko was trying to save Yuki and stand against us, why wouldn’t I send her to the first floor

“Bye Miko”

“Wait!” Miko started running towards me, I could see tears starting to appear

*Beep Beep Beep

“Huh?” An alarm rang throughout the village

“The Yeti riders are attacking!” One of the Barbegazi shouted out, Yeti riders?

“Everyone to your stations!” Yuki commanded the Barbegazi, they all ran off to their posts leaving me and my comrades confused.

“Lets get going” I told Vnaa and Umi, Miko can stay here, she showed her true colours

“Master Udon, don’t leave me, please” Miko fell to her knees in front of me, I could clearly see her tears now

“You stood against us, I told you to stop the act ages ago, you should have killed me with your bare hands, not get someone else to” I walked past Miko, Vnaa and Umi looked on upset, they weren’t leaving Miko though

“Lets go!” I ordered them

“But Sir Udon”

“Big Sister Miko”

“She betrayed us, leave her”

“No, no I didn’t! She wasn’t our enemy, you have all these trust issues! It causes these problems” Miko turned around and shouted at me

“What did you say! That this is my fault!”

“No, that’s not what I meant, why won’t you trust me!”

“Trust you? What have you done to earn my trust! You probably told Kori were I was so she could stab me! You wanted to join me out of the blue, what means do I have to trust you!”

“I want to protect you Master Udon” Miko dropped her head, she finally realised that she had done nothing to protect me

“I’m sorry that you have been hurt so much, I’m sorry I’m not strong enough to protect you, but, but don’t leave me!” Miko stood back up she looked determined. We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity, was she being serious, she had just stood against me a minute ago.
