“We ready to set out?” It was early in the morning, Jot was the only one not awake, Umi ending up sleeping on a pile of Fur in the bedroom again.

“Yep, all set, we’ll leave the two bags here and just take the small hemp bag with all the potions and medicinal herbs” Umi picked up the small hemp bag she had put the potions in and taken the wolf fur out.

“Is something wrong Master Udon?” Miko looked at me puzzled

“Its nothing, you just don’t have your wings out” Was she trying to hide them? Did she think I was that stupid, I saw them yesterday

“I didn’t want to bring too much attention to us, I can bring them back out if you’d like?”

“No, its ok, bring them out when we are out of town” We headed out of Jot’s shop and out into the open grass field just outside of town, Miko brought her Bee wings out, I can’t believe she had those this whole time.

“Master Udon?” Miko looked at me puzzled, damn it! Control your glaring Udon!

“I’m going to try my teleport skill” I was going to use the teleport skill to bring us back to the third floor, I hadn’t used it before so I didn’t know how big it was or what happened to the surrounding area.

“Everyone link up” I told the girls, Umi immediately wrapped her arms around my head

“What are you doing! Get off me!” I tried to claw Umi off me but it was no good

“I’m scared Sir Udon, I don’t want to be separated from you” Umi smiled at me bringing her head closer, she gave Miko a smirk which just seemed to annoy her, I should find out if those two like each other or not

“Fine, you better let go once we arrive, Vnaa make sure you hold on tight” Vnaa hugged my leg with a tight grip, Miko wrapped her arms around my spare arm, she didn’t seem happy though

“Gem Teleportation-Third Floor” My crystal clear Gem illuminated a pale yellow light that surround me and the girls, in an instant the scenery changed into the stairs of the third floor.

“That was easy, now let go of me!” I shouted out, the girls had tightened their grip when we teleported, I could feel my blood circulation getting cut off.

“We just need to head past the town and into the mountains, should we see how Sylf is doing?” Miko looked excited at seeing Sylf, were they friends?

“I don’t think we have time, I want to get this over and done with”

“I’ll be quick I promise Master Udon”

“Fine, meet me at the town gate leading into the forest in 30 minutes” Miko took Vnaa with her and headed off to the inn Sylf worked in

“Just the two of us, I don’t think I’ve ever been alone with you Sir Udon” Damn it! I totally forgot Umi didn’t know Sylf

“Let go of me” I slapped Umi’s hand away before she could grab mine

“You’re very rude Sir Udon”

“What’s with this Sir Udon crap, just call me Udon”

“I can’t, I believe the core of the Ancient Floor Siren was inclined to call anyone they respect or trusted with the title of Sir”

“Does that mean you trust me”

“Of course Sir Udon, I trust you with my life” Umi’s as soft as they come, she didn’t even know me, why would you trust me

“If I treat you so badly why trust me? You don’t even know me”

“I want to though, I joke around that you treat me badly, after seeing that Aquarus person, a feeling of dread came over me, that person with his party tried to kill me for my power, I don’t sense that in you”

“Murderous intent you mean” I probably didn’t have any at the moment, but put me in front of that horse bitch or that piece of shit ex boss and you’ll see some murderous intent

“You don’t seem like a bad person that’s all Sir Udon” Umi and I made our way to the gate heading out to the mountains and waited for Miko and Vnaa

“We’re back!” Miko shouted running towards me, Vnaa was leading her though, did that accessory really make her faster than Miko?

“Lets head off”

“You don’t want to know how Sylf is doing?” Miko asked running up next to me

“Don’t care”

“Papa Udon, Sylf has a friend that has a magical ice dagger” Magical ice dagger huh?

“Her name was Kori, I believe she was the Ice Dagger Weapon Hero” Another weapon hero than, wait.

“Was Kori an elf?” I was told only humans were only chosen by a hero weapon

“Yeah, she wore a pretty blue dress” Vnaa confirmed for me

“Interesting”

“Why did you want to know if she was an elf Sir Udon”

“I was told only Humans were chosen by a hero weapon”

“Kori told us she was on the verge of death in the mountains on this floor when she fell through the ice and found the Ice Dagger, she managed to pull it out the ice and it must have deemed her worthy” Miko explained, isn’t that similar to that sword being pulled out of a rock.

“Lets keep our guard up, I’ve never been to these mountains”

“Yes”

“Of course”

“We’ll be carful” The girls nodded in unison, we headed through the forest towards the mountains

“Isn't it weird we haven’t encountered any monsters” We had been climbing the mountain for at least three hours now and hadn’t come across a single monster

“It does feel strange that no monsters have come to attack us” Miko agreed looking around keeping her guard up

“It might be because they sense the power of my mana from my core” Umi said trying to explain the situation

“That might be right, it still feels weird though”

“Big Sister Miko, what monster are we looking for” Vnaa was walking in between Miko and Umi, I thought it would be best to keep her in between everyone in case she got cold or slipped on the ice. The mountain wasn’t steep enough that we needed climbing gear, but if you did slip you’d most likely roll back down to the bottom.

“The map says its an Ice Chimera”

“Ice Chimera?” How would that work? Isn’t a Chimera a fire-breathing monster resembling a lion’s head and front two legs, a goat in the middle, and a snake behind for its tail…it could breath ice magic I suppose

“Master Udon!” Miko shouted out alert, we had made our way to the top of the mountain, a massive cave entrance blocked the view to the rest of the mountain, that must be where the Ice Chimera is.

“Something’s not right, I feel a strong mana presence coming from behind us” Umi pulled her Sea Trident off her back and went on guard

Enemy Detection Mastery-2/10

“This isn’t right, Master Udon! It’s a summoned Ancient Floor Monster!” Miko shouted out, the ground started to shake, the snow was bouncing off the ground slightly with each foot step.

“What is that!” I shouted out, a giant humanoid monster appeared from up the mountain, it had two thick tusks, they looked like mammoth tusks, its teeth didn’t fit in it’s mouth, it's canine teeth were as sharp and almost as big as the tusks. White fur covered its back but the front was just dark blue leathery skin

“You said it’s a summoned ancient monster right? Do you know who did it!” I shouted out to Miko, I was scared shitless, I can’t beat this thing! Even with the girls, this monster would kill us in a single shot! A one shot kill is unfair!

“I can’t appraise it, I think its a Tusked Yeti but I don’t have any more information, sorry Master Udon” Damn it! It’s a much higher level than all of us combined, it was easy to see that.

“Watch out!” Umi shouted out. A giant snowball formed in the Tusked Yeti’s hand, it had all sorts of debris mixed in with it, boulders, sticks, trees, even other small monsters. Is this a spell? Can monsters do incantless spells!?

“Whoa!” I managed to jump forward and dodge the incoming snowball, it smashed into the cave and the debris rebounded off and buried me

“Master Udon!”

“Sir Udon!”

“Papa Udon!”

Damn it! I don’t want to suffocate to death!

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Imprisonment”

I cast the shadow Imprisonment on myself, this should at least stop the debris from crushing me

“Umi, you and Vnaa get Master Udon out of there, I’ll keep the Tusked Yeti distracted” I could hear Miko shouting orders to the other two girls, who summoned this monster!? It can’t be…that piece of shit ‘god’ Neptune must have done it as a back up plan in case we failed to kill the Ice Chimera. Can he not control it? Why is it attacking us!?

“Sir Udon, we almost have you” Umi managed to clear the snow above me and a light shown through

“Grab my hand” Umi reached out and pulled me up, my Shadow Imprisonment had just run out as well

“I’ve got an idea, Vnaa can you use your speed to distract the monster?”

“Yes, I need to transform back into my caterpillar form though”

“Do it, Umi, while Vnaa is distracting the monster I need you to use your Sea Spray spell targeting its legs then follow it up with Ice Harden, Miko and I will take it from there”

“On it” Umi and Vnaa headed off, I ran towards Miko who had kept the monster distracted up until now

“Miko, when Umi uses her Ice Harden spell can you use your Wind Cutter spell on its legs, we might be able to cut them off and stop it from moving” Miko nodded and gained some distance from the Tusked Yeti, Vnaa had already transformed and was now running around the monsters legs.

“Now Umi!” I shouted out, the Tusked Yeti was distracted trying to grab Vnaa.

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of Water’ Sea Spray”

A spray of water targeted the Tusked Yeti’s white furry legs making them damp in the process

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of Water’ Ice Harden”

Umi followed up immediately with her Ice Harden spell, you could tell it took a tally on her, Umi was panting and had dropped to her knees, her mana must nearly be empty.

“Miko, now!” The Ice harden had frozen the Tusked Yeti’s leg and it was trying to break the ice with its fists

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of Wind’ Wind Cutter”

Miko unleashed her Wind cutter at the frozen legs, blood spluttered out through the ice, but it still wasn’t enough

Betrayal Mastery-2/10

“Master Udon!” I felt a cold sensation in the side of my stomach, I looked down to see a dagger plunged deep into me

“W-what the” I looked at the culprit holding the dagger, it was a blonde elf girl, she wore a blue sideless dress with a hoody and blue mask

“Sylf might have been fooled by your lies, but I’m the Ice Dagger Hero Weapon, it is my duty to punish all evil doers, your crystal clear gem proves your crimes”

“Kori!” Vnaa shouted out transforming back into her human form

“What have you done” Umi tried to shout out and stood up but she was exhausted, her eyes wide open, her mouth shaking, all she could do was watch me fall to my knees and spit up blood

“You will die here criminal” Kori took her ice dagger out of me and disappeared into the snow below our feet

“Master Udon! You need to stay awake!” Miko had caught me before I could fall face first into the snow and turned me over on my back

“Big Sister Miko! Use your healing magic!”

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of Light’ Healing Headache”

“It didn’t work!” Vnaa shouted out, watching the blood pour out of me faster, the area around where Kori had stabbed me had frozen over and turned black from the ice burning my skin

“It’s a wound from a Hero Weapon, normal spells won’t work” Miko looked down at me, tears were falling from her eyes, she had my blood covering her hands and part of her clothes. I turned to see Umi dragging herself through the snow, her fingers looked black also, had she got frost bite from pulling herself through the snow? Vnaa was visibly shaking, her eyes wide opened, this isn’t good. Am I going to die, I’m going to die here! All because of Sylf! I was betrayed again! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!

“Sir…U..don” Umi placed her head onto my stomach, she was barely conscious herself

“Pl-pleees donn diii” Umi blacked out, damn it! Now Umi is done for! What is happening! A summoned Ancient Floor Monster and now being betrayed by Sylf! Did Miko tell her where to find us! Is this Miko’s fault!

“M..iko, did, dii you” I tried to talk, my mouth was full of blood, I could hardly get any air in. Is this what happens when you are wounded by a hero’s weapon

“Don’t talk Master Udon”

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of Light’ Healing Headache”

Miko tried her healing spell again and again, but it was no use, she was losing her mana as well.

“Miko” She collapsed and fell on my legs, now Miko was out

“Vnaa” I tried to call Vnaa over but she was frozen in shock, she was still shaking, I was about to black out again..NO! I CAN’T! IF I BLACK OUT NOW, VNAA WILL DIE!

I tried to get up but I had no strength, not only that, I saw the Tusked Yeti finally break the ice freezing its legs in place, damn it!

“Vnaa here” I managed to lift my arm and pulled Vnaa close to me, I held her tightly along with the other two girls

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Imprisonment”

I cast the Shadow Imprisonment spell over all of us, the Tusked Yeti walked over and punched hard onto my barrier, I felt the vibration of the punch through my body, it caused me to cough up even more blood. Damn it! The girls will die if they stay here! I only have enough mana for two more spells

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Mist”

I unleashed a purple mist, it stopped the Tusked Yeti from attacking. I let go of Vnaa and crawled my way out of the mist leaving the girls behind, Vnaa was still frozen in fear.

“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea ‘The Power of the Shadows’ Shadow Imprisonment”

Self Sacrifice Mastery-1/10

I cast Shadow Imprisonment one more time over the girls, if Vnaa wasn’t there I don’t know if I would have done it, I should just try and save myself, but, they hadn’t done anything to deserve this…Miko was another story at the moment though, she might be the reason I was stabbed to begin with.

“Bring it on you piece of shit” I spat a mouthful of blood at the Tusked Yeti, its attention was now on me rather then the girls still in my barrier

“GRRRRRRRR!” The tusked Yeti unleashed a loud roar lifting its foot high in the air, I was going to be squashed to death, there’s worse ways to die I guess

*Bang

A solid huge icicle came flying through the air and smacked the Tusked Yeti’s leg causing it to fall over.

“RRRRRRRR” I turned to the new roar and saw a white and ice blue monster, it must be the Ice Chimera…Stay awake!
