“Lets see, there’s the weapon shop so the Tailor Shop must be this one” Vnaa and I walked into a white shop with a needle and thread symbol on its sign.

“Hello, anyone in here?” I looked around the store, it looked like a classic tailor store, it had fabric samples, pre-made clothing, mannikins, although, the mannikins where a mixture of species, it was strange seeing them there.

“Is someone there? Please come in, I’ll just be a second” A softly spoken voice called out from upstairs, I didn’t even see the small stairways at the back of the shop

“Vnaa, what are Umi’s measurements?” Damn it, how do I buy someone clothes if I don’t know their measurements

“Gahh?” Vnaa tilted her head at me, she didn’t seem as clueless as me though, maybe there’s some special clothing that will help with transformations, I remember one of my all time favourite Light Novels and Manga series had just that, a mana stone was used to make magical thread out of someones mana, they got the glutton little angel girl to do it so she wouldn’t tear her clothing when she transformed…Ah, good times reading those

“Sorry for the wait, how can I help?” A young lady came down the stairs, she had lime hair and violet eyes, she wore a turquoise open side dress that also had a slightly dark blue sleeves stitched on, she wore brown pants underneath and light grey knee high boots, she had a brown belt around her waist with scissors and needles hanging off it, she really had the whole Tailor look down, she also wore a light grey corset.

“I’m looking for some clothing, but I don’t have any measurements of the person” That probably sounded so stupid, I’d kick the person out of my shop if I heard that

“No problem, we have some magical clothing that will shape itself to its wearer” Not the exact same as the magic thread but close.

“That sounds like it’ll work, can you show me what you have” I didn’t know if Umi had fashion taste either, I didn’t want to bring her with me because she was already annoying and plus, she was naked.

“Over here Sir, all these fabrics can be made into any clothing that suits your taste” I walked over to a wall next to the small staircase, rectangle long holes where cut in the wall, in each hole had a thick single roll of fabric, there was a variety of colours, more then the colouring dye that blabber mouth Dwarf had.

“May I ask who the clothing will be for” The young Tailor looked quite interested in Vnaa, she kept staring at her, did she think I was going to make clothes for this fluffy caterpillar?

“Its a new party member of mine, she currently doesn’t have any suitable clothing”

“I see, I assume her clothing was damaged during a fight and that is why she isn’t here”

“In a way, if you make a simple design, that’ll be good enough for her” I didn’t care what Umi looked like, if she was seriously that annoyed with the clothing I got her she could just get her own when she proved her worth to me.

“My, my, thats no way to treat a female companion, clothing is very special to us girls, it lets us express who we are and what we feel, each different outfit represents another side of us” Was this lady serious? You mean a new personality for each clothing more like it.

“This little creature you have in your hands, she seems very interested in these fabrics, is that a monster?” Is that why she was curious about Vnaa, because she kept looking around at all the fabrics

“She’s my familiar, she doesn’t need any clothes”

“Hmm, I wouldn’t be so sure, you said you are after clothing that can shape depending on the user, I have heard tales of familiars being able to turn into humans, is that your situation?” Was she some kind of mind reader? Thats exactly the situation I’m in, if she confirms I can create familiars it might lead to dangerous people coming after me, it was a superior skill after all.

“I don’t know, Vnaa is my only familiar and she can’t transform into a human”

“Is that true little one? You seem to be wanting to show your Master something but you’re hesitating, why?” Vnaa’s not a little baby, you don’t need to talk down to her, I hate when people did that, younger doesn’t mean they are stupid.

“Gahh, gah, gah, gahh” Vnaa spoke back to the lady

“I see, I see, I think it’ll be fine” The lady stood up and looked me in the eyes with a firm stare. Whats her problem? Did she want to steal Vnaa from me?

“Udon was it? My name is Claudia, this familiar of yours, Vnaa is her name correct? She has a strong connection to you, she sees you as a father to her” What is going on? Could she speak to Vnaa? She must have the Monster or Animal Whisperer skill.

“Is this leading to something?” Claudia looked down at Vnaa and nodded, Vnaa jumped out of my arms and stood before me and stared.

“Vnaa what ever this lady said, you don’t have to do this, she doesn’t know us, she’s trying to trick you” Had she turned Vnaa against me somehow, damn it! Obedient my ass!

“You are a rather sceptical person, the first thing that comes to your mind is betrayal, is that an every day occurrence for you Udon” Did she live some sheltered life? Of course thats my first thought! Any living thing on any planet is only in it for themselves, the quicker you learn that the quicker you’ll become stronger.

“Vnaa you don’t need to do this” I looked down at Vnaa, my hand was gripped onto my sword, I didn’t want to kill Vnaa, but, if she wanted a fight, I’ll give her one.

“Gahhh” A bright white light appeared around Vnaa, I had my fair share of bright lights recently and shielded my eyes this time.

“Papa” Huh? A soft, innocent, sweet voice came from the disappearing light

“Papa?” Wait, I knew it. The light disappeared and lying on the ground where Vnaa had been was a small girl, she looked about 6 years old, her long lime hair covered her right lime eye, the same colour as Vnaa’s.

“I’m sorry Papa, I know you didn’t like it when Umi transformed, so I tried to not transform, but I couldn’t handle the pain any longer, I’m so weak, I’m sorry Papa” the girl that was Vnaa put her head against the Tailors floor and started to cry. Was she in pain? I didn’t even know, she with held from transforming for so long just to not make me upset, she went through pain to not be an inconvenience, this is different, I feel different, did Vnaa care about my feelings that much.

“Vnaa, you’re not weak, you should have just transformed, I would have understood” I knelt down and put my hand on Vnaa’s shoulder, she was cold, she didn’t have any clothes on though to be fair.

“I thought you would have left me, I didn’t want to leave your side Papa!”

“Huh” I would like to say that was a surprise but it wasn’t, the first thing I ever said to Vnaa was she wouldn’t be of any use to me.

“Your different from the other girls, I’d never leave you” I had become fairly attached to Vnaa through our the short period of time we’ve travelled together, I might not show it, but Vnaa was the closest thing I had to trust and she was also comfy to hold, I guess I thought of her as a comfort animal.

“A-are you sure Papa” Vnaa lifted her head up, tears still running down her face, am I that bad of a person? I hated humans but I still thought every kid deserved a chance to be happy, it was up to them if they wasted it or not, but Vnaa, I never gave her that chance, damn it! I’m just as bad as those horrible people back on earth!

“I promise Vnaa” I wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled, it felt like the first smile I had done in years.

“Can I, uhh, I would like some clothes too if thats ok” Vnaa lifted her head and smiled back at me, she was naked, I needed to give her something to wear.

“Of course, I’ll get you as many outfits as you want” I couldn’t help but father this cute, sweet little girl.

“Just like a father spoiling her precious daughter, how sweet” Claudia looked on interrupting this moment between Vnaa and I

“Stay out if it, you’ll ruin this moment” I glared at Claudia

“I-I’ll just check what clothes we have in her size” Claudia quickly went back up stairs, I was getting better and my glare, people were becoming more and more frightened.

“How about you get off that cold floor” I helped Vnaa up and put of piece of fabric over her

“Thank you Papa”

“How about we not call me Papa” I wasn’t that old, I was still 21, I didn’t need to be called Papa

“But your Papa, nothing else” Did Vnaa not know my name?

“My name is Udon, you should know that by now”

“Papa Udon”

“Uhh, errr, fine, you can call me that” I looked down at Vnaa and saw her sparkling lime eyes, I couldn’t say no to them, maybe I was acting like her Papa, it’s not like I was a Lilicon, Vnaa was just so different from Miko and especially my first impression of Umi, she just looked like she wanted to help me. Miko did act like that but the fact she just joined me out of the blue still make me suspicious of that bee.

“I found an outfit perfect for Vnaa, try it on!” Claudia came running back down the stairs, she was really excited, she handed Vnaa some black leggings, and a dark green plaid dress, it looked like it was from the 1950s back on earth.

“Try it on Vnaa” I didn’t want her standing in this shop naked any longer, the last thing I wanted was someone to walk in and see a naked little girl holding onto me.

“Ok” Vnaa took the clothing and headed into a small room next to the counter.

“H-how does it look?” Vnaa came out, her cheeks were flushed, was she embarrassed?

“So cute!” Claudia jumped over to Vnaa and inspected the outfit,

“Papa Udon, does it suit me?”

“You look like you could be a princess” The outfit did suit her, Claudia might have talent although, she was annoying

“Of course it suits you darling, just look how the leggings match your skin tone, the dark green compliments your eyes perfectly as well, and if we just tie up your hair in a ponytail like this, and, done” Claudia tied Vnaa’s hair back, but it still covered her right eye.

“I have an even better idea, if you’d let me make a custom outfit for her Papa, she will look even cuter, it can transform into mana as well when she needs to transform back into the fluffy caterpillar”

“How does that work?” Did she need Vnaa’s blood or something?

“If I make the thread out of what ever magic stone she has an affinity for, it’ll just merge with her current magic when she transforms, and then takes it out when she transforms back”

“And you can do that?” If that was apart of the basic Tailoring skill, thats quite impressive

“Yes and no, I only have the three basic Tailor skills, I’m a Pixie, so we have a little more natural experience with mana”

“Aren't Pixie’s supposed to have wings?” Pixie’s were labeled as tricksters back in earth fantasy novels.

“I have an affinity for light magic and I hide my wings, Pixie’s aren’t found on the lower floors and have a reputation of being a… shady character lets put it” They were known as the same here as well.

“How much will this cost me? Plus the outfit for the other one, she has an affinity for water magic”

“Hmm, it’s not cheap to make two outfits with one being custom, after all the materials, magic stones and time it would add up to 1 Golden Tigre Coin, give or take a Bronze Bear Coin or 2” That was expensive.

“Papa Udon, thats too much, I can get something cheaper, don’t worry” Vnaa tugged my shirt again, this girl is too precious, I need to find a way to lower the price.

“What if I upgrade your skills? How much will you lower the price?”

“Upgrade my skills you say, you must be that kind player that helped Jot out then” Damn it Jot!

“I hate to admit it, but yes, I helped that blabber mouth of a Dwarf out” He was going to pay for this

“Hmm, if you can upgrade all three of my skills, I’ll cut the price down to two Silver Shark Coins, how does that sound?” That’s quite a drop

“You have a deal” I explained to Claudia how the upgrading process goes, I gave her Skill Point Transfer and she gave me 4 SP.

“Wonderfull, all my basic skills went to intermediate and my Combine Monster Materials improved into Combine High Levelled Monster Materials, Vnaa if you can, I would like to use some of your Familiar fur for the outfit” Claudia didn’t have an overly excited look like Jot and Aria, she seemed ready to get straight into work like those other two when I upgraded their skills though.

“I don’t mind, how much do you need?”

“Just a little bit, Udon, these outfit will be ready in two days, please come by then to pick them up” Vnaa transformed back into her Caterpillar form and Claudia cut a big chunk of fur, didn’t she say a little? Before I could complain, the fur grew back in an instant.

“Vnaa stay in that form until we get back to Jot’s shop ok, I’ll be back in two days” I picked Vnaa up and we left the shop, Claudia had already ran back up stairs before we even opened the door.

“What!?”

“So cute!”

“Vnaa you’re adorable” Vnaa and I arrived back to the shop, she showed the others her human form, Jot almost passed out in surprise, Umi and Miko acted like big sisters with a new born, Vnaa blushed and let out a little giggle, she looked happy.

“Master Udon, you just smiled! The biggest smile I’ve seen you do” Damn it Miko, stop looking at me all the time

“Sir Udon doesn’t smile?” Umi stopped cuddling Vnaa and looked up at me tilting her head.

“Big Sister Miko, Papa Udon gave me a big smile in the shop earlier, he looked so handsome” Miko looked down at Vnaa and then at me and smiled

“I’m glad, a smile suits you more then a frown Master Udon”

“Umi, the lady at the Tailor shop will have an outfit for you in two days, in the mean time wear this, and also take this” I threw Umi a black long sleeved shirt and Dark blue pants we grabbed off Claudia’s counter along with the Ocean Sapphire Gemstone Necklace, Vnaa was wearing a dark green skirt with a black shirt that we also grabbed off Claudia’s counter, I’m sure she won’t mind, and we’ll return it when I pick up the other clothes.

“Of course Sir Udon, a present from you, I’ll treasure it with my life” Umi’s face lit up, she put the clothes on and lucky enough, they were in her size or at least the ball park, she didn’t look uncomfortable that was the main point.

“I’d like a present from you to Master Udon” Huh? I turned to see Miko with an unimpressed expression.

“Huh? I thought I heard some voices?” I looked around Jot’s shop, I swear I heard a dark gargled voice

“Captain why are we hear again?”

“Neptune has asked us to bring in these players for a quest. These players, pathetic scum, they stole the Sirens core and created that filthy Sea Horse monster, I will kill her with my bare hands”

“Does Neptune want these players dead Captain”

“If that boy there has the ability to create monsters, he must be taken care of”

“Master Udon”

“Papa Udon”

The three girls looked out the window, a cold breeze went through the house, something wasn’t right.

“Isn’t that the Merfolk man with the Sword hero weapon?” I looked out the window and saw the exact same man that was hunting the Siren.

“Aquarus his name was” Miko said still looking out the window

“What does he want?” Why was he here?

“Udon, be carful, his known as Neptune’s executioner” Jot peeked out the window,

“Executioner? Girls get away from the window now” The girls all backed away and stood behind me, what did this man want? Was Neptune after me? Did Aria or Claudia dob me in to him? This isn’t good, I’ll need to fight this beastman or I’ll die.
