“Mmmm, that was actually a comfy sleep,”

I woke up and stretched my arms up over my head, I could feel a warm, soft sensation around my chest and lower body, the blanket wasn’t that soft was it? I opened my eyes completely and looked down…

“WHAT THE HELL!”

A woman laid naked on me, I could feel her sizeable, soft breasts pushing up against my side, her legs were wrapped around mine, I had no way to escape. Was this some sort of honey trap set by Miko!? That damn bee!

“Mmmmm, Master Udon, don’t be so loud in the morning.”

The lady that looked like she was in her early 20’s brushed her silky blonde hair out of her face, rubbed her yellow eyes and looked at me.

“M-Miko!?”

I mumbled looking away from the naked lady, it sounded like Miko, but, it didn’t have that buzzing sound when she spoke.

“Yeah, what is it Master Udon?”

Miko finally starting to wake up, felt her hands and looked down at her body.

“Whaaaaaa! I’m sorry, I don’t know what happened!”

Miko shot up from under the blanket and jumped into her bed, covering herself up with her original blanket.

“You can transform into a human!?”

I shouted, dumbfounded, I looked at the beet red face of Miko, who has stuffed her face into her pillow.

“NO! I couldn’t transform into a human! This must be that contracts fault!”

Miko shouted into the pillow making the words all muffled up, but I could still understand what she said.

“Forget about that for a second… Why on earth, were you sleeping next to me!”

I could put the transforming bee on hold for a second, it might not have been her fault, but, sleeping next to me was definitely her fault!

“Well, uhh, you see, I was quite cold in my bed and you looked so comfy that I couldn’t help myself, I didn’t mean to fall asleep, I was just trying to make sure you were comfy is all.”

Are you kidding me! You just wanted to sleep with me!

“Damn it Miko!”

I raised my voice and looked down at her, she was looking into the ground now, her face still beet red, she was completely and utterly embarrassed, but I could tell she was sorry. Arrrr, I guess I’ll let her off the hook, I wasn’t naked anyway, so no harm no foul, I guess.

“Don’t let it happen again, ok”

“Yes, I am truly sorry Master Udon, I didn’t know I would turn into a human.”

Miko bowed her head repeatedly as she apologised. Damn it, she did look pretty cute, those hazel eyes and that silky blonde hair, they were just a perfect match and her body, well, it wasn’t a body I didn’t find attractive, but, she was still planning something that will stab me in the back, I could just tell, and I couldn’t find anyone the slightest bit sexually attractive, ever since the incident with my sister, and then getting accused of forcing myself on that horse bitch.

“Ok, lets figure this out, you think you turned into a human because of the contract we made right?”

“U-uhh y-yeah thats i-it, there h-have been s-stories about Floor Guardians t-taking on a f-form of t-their master.”

Why was she stuttering so much? And Master? When did we decide that?

“So, when you gave me that contract, it meant I became your Master?”

“Y-yes that is c-correct”

“Umm, why are you stuttering?”

I asked Miko, I couldn’t take it anymore, maybe this is why people beat me up back on earth.

“Well, u-uhh, I am, n-naked.”

Miko’s faced turned even redder as she explained herself.

“Oh, right, sorry, do you have any clothes that will fit you?”

I asked her understanding the situation.

“No don’t be sorry! It’s not your fault!”

Miko bowed her head down and waved her arms in front of me, but, she had let go of the blanket and….

“Whaaa! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!”

Miko quickly pulled it back up as she saw me turn my head and point down.

“I do h-have some clothing I found by some players a while back, I’ll be r-right back,”

Miko got up and went deeper into the cave. I didn’t know this cave went any further? If I think about it, where am I? I did hear some rushing water, it sounded like a waterfall, was I behind that waterfall on that lake?

“U-uhh what do you think M-Master Udon?”

Miko came back and stuttered as she showed off her outfit, it looked like it was made for her, she wore white lose jeans with yellow stripes, black skinny boots and a blue singlet with yellow stripes running down the sides and a honeycomb lace pattern in the middle of her chest, she also wore a black glove on her right arm and a white glove on her left arm, but, I honestly didn’t care how she looked, as long as she wasn’t naked.

“Oh, uhh, it looks practical”

“Oh, is that it”

Miko replied looking at the ground of her feet, seeming disappointed. I didn’t have any taste in clothing, did she really want an opinion of a male on her outfit.

“Good Morning Players and Non-Players, in todays News, The Monsters of Floor 1 have been all cleared out, thank you for the players and Non-Players that helped out with that. On to the top stories of the day, The Kingdom of Zora has a new King, King Fengboa has taken the throne. A party of 7 adventures have cleared the Floor 11 Boss and are onto the more impressive side of the dungeon.”

“Umm Miko,”

“Yes, Master Udon?”

“What the hell was that!? I heard it yesterday as well.”

“Oh, thats the Guild Gem Announcement, they let players know what is happening in the dungeon, it's kinda a safety measure so players know what is dangerous and what isn’t.”

So its a morning announcement…

“Damn it! Why do I have to go through so much middle school shit in this world!”

This was starting to be utterly ridiculous.

“Uhh Master Udon, is everything ok? What is a middle school?”

Miko asked me as she sat down next to me on her bed.

“Don’t worry. A couple of things before we head off to the second floor. One, are you the only Floor Guardian until the 11th Floor?”

I asked Miko, getting ready to set off.

“Yes, but there are Ancient Floor Monsters, its a Monster that has been on the same floor since the dungeon was formed as the legends go, they help the Floor Guardians control the monster population and kill monsters that are to strong, as they see them as a threat. They also attack humans and other species that are trying to destroy the floor or wipe out the monsters. They are often challenged by other strong monsters on the floor that have also been their from the start, but it is rare for an ancient monster to lose its statues to another monster, but it’s also not unheard of. I have a friend on a higher floor that di….”

“All right, so do they stay on their floors?”

I needed to cut Miko off or she would just keep rambling on, she seemed the type to just talk and talk when she found something interesting.

“Yes, they do stay on their floors, but, when an ancient floor monster is killed, the floor becomes a little unstable, monsters often keep other species in check so there are some floors without an ancient floor monster. In the case an ancient floor monster needs to be there, Faction leaders or the Guild leaders have the ability to create a monster to stabilise the floor or to challenge the current ancient monster incase it is getting out of hand, but ever since the appearance of the human species, the Gods have learnt they can control floors easier with their summoned monster.”

“So humans weren’t originally from here then after all, interesting. Ok, next question before we set off, how do we get maps of the floors, I haven’t unlocked the map skill in my gem yet.”

“Oh, you mean the Cartographer Gem Skill? That one is a simple one to complete, if you’re in a guild, all you have to do is complete 5 Quests and it costs a total of 3 Guild Points I’ve heard. Since we don’t have that we can go to an armour or weapon shop and buy one there, you could get one for free from the guild you are in, but, that doesn’t apply to our case.”

Damn it! How much more handicaps do I have to face! I’m not even on Second Floor!

“Once we past the fifth floor, the maps are given out or sold as groups of 5 to make it easier on the players. In each floor, it has a major spawn area thats marked on the map, it helps players level up, but if too many of the one species is killed in a certain time frame, that species gains more levels and becomes stronger, they also produce a ‘spirit’ or a ‘boss’ level monster, the Ancient Floor Monster often steps in then but we should still be carful if we visit any of those spots.”

“I think that is everything I need to know, you all packed and ready to head off?”

I asked Miko, I got up off the bed and looked down at her.

“Oh, uhh yes, I’m ready Master Udon.”

Miko replied, her cheeks turned red, she must be scared, she had lost majority of her levels so I understand that, but the dagger she held in her sheath looked quite unique, black and yellow, matches the bee persona I guess. We headed out of the cave and onto the second Floor.
