《The Calamity of a Dungeon Crawl》Mythical Bee Guardian

I searched the forest for the rumoured monsters but hadn’t come across anything, monsters, animals or other people. I came into a small opening in the forest and saw a handful of purple and brown slimes, around seven in total, they were all huddled around a small rabbit corpse.
“They must have killed it, maybe they are the reason I couldn’t find any animals around this forest. I’ll use weak appraisal to check them out.”
Weak appraisal failed
“Huh? I’ll try again.”
Weak appraisal failed, Weak appraisal failed, Weak appraisal failed
“Useless skill…Damn it! They must be a higher level then me, can I kill them with my weak Stone-Stick Spear?”
I snuck closer and hid behind a tree, they were definitely slimes, they were gooey and had no real body, they where either completely purple or brown, the Purple ones seemed to be bigger though, maybe they are higher levelled. I watched the slimes eat the rabbit corpse, well, more like disintegrate the corpse, I looked around for something to help me in this fight but all I could find was some small rocks and sticks, I went to grab a rock off the ground but I stepped on a twig and it snapped catching the slimes attention.
“Damn it! I have no choice now!”
I looked up to see the slimes making their way towards me, I picked up the rocks on the ground and starting throwing them at the on coming slimes.
*5 Exp Points Acquired
“Yes!”
I managed to kill one of the brown slimes, its body popped and goo spilled over the other slimes, they seemed to slow down a bit. Maybe the slime is poisonous, wait! The purple slimes look poisonous, I need to kill one of them.
“Take this and this, arrrr!”
I threw the remaining rocks I had at the purple slime in the front, it did look like it caused some damage but it still wasn’t enough to kill it. I looked around frantically for some sort of weapon but I had no luck, I looked at the incoming slimes, they seemed to be speeding up, I guess the brown slimes goo had worn off.
“grraaaarrrr”
The slimes let out this weird mumbled up voice, it echoed through the forest causing the trees around me to shake like it had been hit by a gust of wind.

“Thats it!”
I ran over to the closest tree to the right of me, and starting shaking it violently. The branches on it starting to creek and fall, but the big branch that was over hanging above the slimes wasn’t breaking.
“Damn it!”
I kept shaking the tree as the slimes where almost upon me.
*Creeeeeek
“Yes!”
The big tree branch fell and squashed the purple slime in the middle of the group, its body popped like a water balloon and its poisonous goo spluttered out over the other slimes and starting to disintegrate them. The brown slimes died almost instantaneously, the other purple slimes seemed to have a bit of a poison resistance and took longer to die, but once the first one died, its body popped and spluttered more poisonous goo over the other slimes, and just like that it was a domino effect.
*38 Exp Points Acquired-10 Skill Points Acquired
“I did it! The purple slimes must have been worth 7 exp points, I’m surprised I didn’t level up though.”
I mumbled to myself as I walked over to the steaming pile of goo, I looked at the goo and tried my appraisal skill again.
Poisonous Purple Slime remains, quality: poor
Brown Earth Slime remains, quality: poor
“l wonder if I can put this in a pouch or something? They might be useful for medicine.”
I decided to make another two small hemp water pouches, and filled one up with the poisonous purple goo and the other up with the earth slime goo. I hooked them to my pants on the other side of my water pouch, don’t want to get them mixed up, what a poor way to go out, accidentally drinking slime goo mistaken it for water, you’d be the laughing stock of the after life.
*Bzzzzzz
“Huh?”
I turned to see a massive bumble bee flying around the forest, I tried my appraisal skill, which, of course, failed. This monster looked stronger then the slimes, but if its a bee maybe if I can get it to sting a tree then it might become weaker. I picked up some more rocks and threw them at the bee.
“Ow! Who did that?”
Yes! I hit it on the head…Did it just speak!? Damn it, it’s coming this way I better hide. I jumped into a small bush and hid from the massive bumble bee.

“I’m sure I got hit by a rock that came from over here,”
The Bee flew by me…no doubt! It can talk! It sounded like a soft, gently, appealing voice with a buzzing sound mixed in it, I took a closer look at the bee, it had a yellow and light brown pattern on its body, the normal bee pattern, but its eyes where big and hazel, it also wore what looked like a princess crown on its head, this is some weird bee, it even has two thin legs and arms like humans. Wait? Is this some type of bee beastman? In that case, it’s probably going to try and rob me, I won’t let that happen!
“Arrrr!”
I jumped out from the bush and thrusted my stone-stick spear down above my head onto the weird bee.
“So there you are”
The bee turned and easily evaded my strike.
“Damn it! This is going to be tough.”
I landed a few meters away from the bee and took a defensive stance.
“What type of weapon is that? Do you know what trouble you are about to get yourself into”
The bee looked at me and studied my weapon.
“Bring it on! I’ve dealt with horrible Demi-Humans already I’m sure a Bee Beastman is no different, I wouldn’t get to far ahead of yourself.”
I gripped my weapon harder and was ready to defend any attack.
“Bee Beastman? What are you talking about? Can you understand me?”
The bee seeming to back off a little, titled its head and looked at me with a curious expression.
“Don’t try and fool me! I won’t fall for that!”
I screamed at the bee and started my attack by charging in. Not the smartest of moves.
“Hmmm, you seem broken.”
What the hell did that bee just say! Broken! What is that supposed to mean!
“I’ll show you whose broken!”
I swung my stone-stick spear into the bee, but again, it easily avoided the swing and flew up.
“You misunderstand, you seem like you have lost all hope, your movements are of one that is only here to survive. Who are you?”
What is this bees problem!
“I’ll survive no matter what!”
I jumped up into the air trying to reach the bee and threw my stone-stick spear at it, catching it by surprised, I struck the bees wing and it fell to the ground with a large thump.
“Ha! I win! Now prepare to die for making a mockery of me!”
I landed on my feet and picked up my stone-stick spear and walked over to the injured bee. I pulled my stone-stick spear back like a javelin and prepared to impale the monster bee, when I looked into her eyes, they were rabid with fear and sadness…I saw myself in those eyes.
“Release the spear and impale your enemy”
That dark voice was back, seeming to beg me to kill this bee, but I couldn’t move my spear, damn it! I know that expression the bee has right now, I’ve had it a million times in my life and not once did someone stop! So why should I!
“ARRR!”
I screamed as I pulled the stone-spear back even further, when I felt water rolling down my cheek.
“Huh?”
Is that a tear? Am I crying? What is going on? This is just a monster, she was going to kill me… Was she? She never launched an attacked and didn’t threaten me, am I about to kill someone who is like me? Just wanting to survive? Is that why I’m crying?
“You’re not a bad person”
Huh? The bees expression changed into one of relief, and then she blew a light breeze in my face.
“Hear my words dungeon, I ask to be surrounded, filled and illuminated with the dungeons flowing energy, hear my plea 'The Power of Light’ Sweet Aroma”
The light breeze smelt like a bouquet of flowers and my vision starting to become blurry, I dropped the stone-stick spear and fell to my knees.
“Sorry about this, but I need to protect you”
The bee flew over to me and picked up my stone-stick spear, I guess her wing was healed.
*Smack
She hit me square in the head with the back of my stone-stick spear and I blacked out.

Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.
