He awoke on the ground, laying on the floor, or at least that was what it should’ve been. The ‘floor’ felt almost completely weightless, it felt as if he was laying on a cloud, floating in midair. In front of his laying form, was a bright screen that was semitransparent, but solid enough that he could easily read the words on it. It began with,

He was able to quickly connect two and two together and figure out what this message board meant by congratulating him, thinking aloud “I guess the Devil that I was feuding with was named Legion King Sin, but that doesn’t explain where I am, or what I am doing here.” (Y/N) looked around the empty space, attempting to find any answers to his numerous questions, but there was nothing, just a seemingly infinite blackness that surrounded him on all sides. “I guess the first step in figuring out what is happening would be to take a detailed look at this alert screen thingy.” With that decided, he slowly raised his hand and tapped on the (F/C) screen with his right index finger and once he did something surprising occurred. Suddenly, a ton of different screens appeared with a bunch of information on each of the different screens, far too much to consume at once. “Ok, we are going to have to go one at a time, and completely analyze all this info. Let’s begin with this one.”

Something about the Prestiging message made everything suddenly settle in for the man, and he thought, “all this stuff is directly related to me specifically, so there is no way this is just some random message board that applies to everyone that sees it. It was able to instantly reset my ability and I could physically feel the strength leaving my body. This has to be something like a personal ability of mine and its allowing me to make changes in my body like this is some kind of game or something. I have no clue what brought this thing on, but if the first message I received had anything to do with it, then this happened because I killed the Devil, or Sin rather. Either way, I may as well go through this System thing with the mindset that I’m upgrading myself like I’m in a game.” After taking a deep breath of the surrounding air, (Y/N) looked at the screen in front of him and said, “Prestiging is definitely worth it. I guess I'll be able to level up and get stronger as time goes on. I’ll have to remember that 250 is the next mark to aim for, but what is Skill Alchemy?”

Skill Alchemy- With this System mechanic, the player can combine similar skills and abilities together to create something new or empower something that was already strong.

“Understood.” (Y/N) began to think deeply about the uses of this system mechanic. “I don’t know exactly how the skill system works, but as time continues, I’m sure I’ll be able to put this mechanic to use more and more. Next bit that needs an explanation would be the EX-Base System Skills.”

EX Skills- Stands for Extra Skills is an ability that a Skill gains after a certain requirement is reached (most often the skill reaching Max Level).

Base System Skills- Skills that you, the player, are granted when you Awaken the System.

*Observe- Skill that allows the user to see the ‘Status’ of another object or person with some limitations (Most often Level is too high)

*EX Observe- Skill that allows the user to see status of all things with almost no limitations. The only Status value that can be hidden is a person’s Attributes (Via Ability or Skill).

*Skill Creation- Allows for the player to create new Skills by repeatedly doing certain actions, some Skills take more repeated actions than others.

*EX Skill Creation- Every Skill that can be created using the System, can be created by doing the action once.

*Title Power- Titles that give the player active skills are permanent. However, passive ability Titles must be equipped to achieve the desired effect.

*EX Title Power- All Abilities and Skills granted by Titles are permanent with no limits to passive gains or active skills.

*Race Power- The maximum number of races that can be utilized at once is One, the user must switch Races to achieve desired effects.

*EX Race Power- There is no Limit to the number of Races that can be in use at a given time. All powers granted by a Race is permanent.

“This really is just like a game.” he thought. “I guess that completely explains the prestige aspect of this ‘System’ entity, but now I gotta move onto the other things that I acquired from killing Sin.” (Y/N) then turned his attention to the other numerous screens that appeared before him, staring deeply at the floating screen and analyzing the words and their meanings to draw conclusions. “Kill completion rewards is self-explanatory, it’s the various rewards I get for killing the Devil, or Sin since, it seems, that is its real name, but what the fuck is an Essence or an ‘Awakened One.’”

Creation Essence- This is the core of a Creations power. Every essence is a piece of it origins whole that gives life, energy, and power to all the living, and sometimes non-living, things that the Essence domains over. Absorbing this Essence allows the user to gain ability’s, skills, and power from numerous different Creations.

Race: ‘Awakened One’- The One who surpassed all odds and fought back against the terrifying beings that plagued their world, the chosen being that will carry the many Essential Creations to salvation. This is your true reward for slaying the Legion King Sin and surpassing all that was thought possible for a being of your stature.

“Wow that’s actually kinda deep, but it’s a still quite a bit confusing to say, ‘the chosen bring’ and it really only presents more questions than answers. What is an Essential Creation, what does it mean to carry them to salvation? It’s just more stuff that I’ll have to try to figure out later, but the rest, I guess, is my true reward for overcoming Sin. And this Creation Essence will allow me to gain some new abilities, or powers from… what form of Creation exactly? The Devils world?” Looking at the screen questionably, he tapped on the Essence of Animus.

(Y/N)’s eyes widened slightly as he read the new powers he obtained, “this explains a lot, Sin used this short-range teleportation skill Devils Step very often, he seemed to be able to use it way more often than a 120sec cooldown, and I’ll have to figure out how to do that later, Devil’s Domain is kinda OP, especially when Sin uses it specifically. Because every time it appeared, the Devil was seemingly surrounded by weak, fodder enemy’s that it could easily absorb for more health. This Beast Tamer thing seems to be the most interesting though. I should check it out some more later.” He thought over some more potential skill and attack combinations he could use with his newfound abilities before continuing to the next lot of rewards. “The rest seems fairly simple and straight forward so let’s do the rest in bulk.”

Experience- Points that allow the player to Level up, further increasing their Strength

Attribute Points- Points that the player adds to their attributes STR (Physical Damage), END (Physical Defense), VIT(Health), DEX (Both Attack and Evasion Speed), INT (Strategic Ability, Mana Pool, Mana Regen), LUK (Critical Hits, Random Events, Avatar Roles etc.) to increase their own power.

System Points- Points used to unlock, upgrade, or change certain parts of the system to better assist the player.

Titles: A name, or phrase, which defines who the player is at any given point in time. They are given after fulfilling certain conditions, some conditions are known others are not. These Titles grant Power to the player via Abilities, Skills, and Equipment.

“Thank you, system,” he starts sarcastically, “I’m pretty sure I already knew all of that. But thanks for the specifics anyway.”

(Y/N) looked at the screen with widened eyes, surprised that this, now confirmed, entity responded to his outburst. “So, you can understand me. I guess that’s not the craziest thing that’s happened over the past couple of days. With that being said though, I hope we can get along for the foreseeable future, System.”

Beast Master- You have proven more than powerful enough to not only destroy beasts that are your enemies, but also intimidate them into submission. “I don’t really understand exactly what this means as of right now, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out later.”

Unbreakable- Even when beaten down and attacked relentlessly you will not fall. No force can break your will to fight. + 2 END and +2 VIT on Level Up; *Unbreakable*- +50% END when HP falls below 10%

Berserker- Enkindled Rage fills your body when angered. Fueling your body with incredible, but uncontrollable strength. Obtain Skill *Berserker Mode* (Lvl: 1) - When active mana quickly drains over time 100mp/10sec ; All Mana Cost Are Nulled; +50% STR, +50%DEX; -50%END, -50% VIT, this mode ends when you run out of Mana, or your opponent is dead.

“These two are more than likely because of what happened after I got hit with the Behemoths massive fire ball. The wild, and inexplainable, sudden rage I felt after getting hit by that beast's attack is what pushed me over the edge and allowed me to enter Berserker Mode. And being ‘unbreakable’ is probably what allowed me to live as long as I did. It would be safe to assume that I had some of these abilities before I even unlocked this ‘System.’ But what exactly did they come from?”

The Last One Standing- One who overcomes all odds, and destroys enemies that far outclasses themselves in power. +1 to STR on Level Up. *Last One Standing*- You are the Last one standing. +25% Exp Gain when defeating enemies’ higher level than yourself.

Unkillable- You cannot die, no you will not die. Refusing the satisfaction your enemies desire to kill you, you surpass them in battle. *Unkillable*-+50% STR and +50% DEX when HP falls below 10%

“This ‘Unkillable’ title is what allowed me to fuck up Sin so bad in the end. This title stacks heavily with Berserker Mode, it creates a deadly combo that makes me much stronger than I am without it.”

Unshaken by Agony- With immense pain and agony, coursing through your veins, you persevere through it all to achieve wonderful things. *Pain Nullification*

Immovable by Flame- Through the Fire and the Flames of hell itself, you push forward without fail. *MAX Fire Resistance*

“Seems like getting cut up and burnt to a crisp had its advantages. At least I don’t have to experience anything that painful anymore.”

Mana Flow Master- The movement of Mana through one’s body is no mystery to you. You can expertly control every point of mana and how to use it to strengthen every party of your body. *MAX Mana Proficiency*- -50% to all Mana costs. Obtain Skill *Mana Manipulation* (Lvl: 1)- Convert Mana points into Attributes, temporarily boosting your stats 50mp/ 1ap.

“I’m fast as fuck boy. This is a nice skill to have if I ever must get out of a tough situation, or if I need rush a person down. It might’ve even been a skill I subconsciously utilized when I ran from Sin the first time. I guess the energy that I kept feeling fill my body as I ran from Sin on my second life and fought with him on the third was Mana. I don’t exactly know how I became an expert, or a master, with the stuff but I'll take it without question.”

Sixth Sense Master- You can see everything. There is nothing that can escape your ever-expanding vision. *MAX Mana Sight*- You can see and sense the formulation of mana around you, increasing your insight into how mana works; +1 INT on Level Up.

“I remember this feeling. It was nothing like I ever felt before. I could see everything, but without using my eyes. On top of that, it didn’t look normal, everything was grey except for the glowy stuff that was inside of the mobs and covering Sin and his demon.”

“Wait. When I was biding my time, attempting to make class go by faster, did I accidentally break through some limit that I had as a human? Maybe it has something to do with how I unlocked it? There is no way to find out now, so I won't let it bug me.”

Your ability to strike foes with powerful punches is masterful. +3 STR on Level Up; Obtained Equipment ‘Killer Gauntlets’; Obtained Skill: *5 Knuckle Shuffle* (Lvl: 1)- A barrage of 5 extremely fast punches that leaves the enemy completely stunned; Cost 30mp; High Chance to Leave Opponent Stunned.

“I am apparently very good at beating ass. Good to know. Deadly Strike seems strong especially because of that high chance of Insta-kill. I wonder how it works in practice. If I stab someone in the ankle will Insta-kill still activate? Will it just not work at all, or will the chance of it working be lower because it's not a traditionally fatal attack? It should be interesting to test it out. I cannot believe that 5-knuckle shuffle is an actual skill. It’s a fucking wrestling move for God sakes.”

“All of these skills are very useful, and I could probably stack them on top of each other for an even greater effect. Natural Evade is like something out of dragon ball, but Ultra Instinct is someone's body moving automatically, and this skill lets me dodge an attack by simply thinking. So, if it's an attack I don’t see or notice, I will still be vulnerable, I gotta remember that. Foresight was the skill I used to dodge the Devil’s attack in our 1 on 1 at the start of the battle, and when the Behemoth and Sin were tag teaming me during the fight. It seems kinda overpowered, but I guess if you aren’t fast enough to dodge then it would be pointless.”

Intellectual Prodigy- Your brain works in wonderous ways. It’s an ability to deduce, analyze, and collect knowledge is outstanding. Appearing after the command, was a new screen that had multiple different system mechanics on it. The Shop, Weapon and Armor Crafting stations, Item Crafting, Skill Alchemy, and finally Beast Tamer. [This is the System Upgrade Menu, where you can use your System Points to upgrade various parts of the system. Each Mechanic has a level to it, each upgrade will Level Up the mechanic, subsequently providing it with new, or improved aspects. Each one has a different Max Level, but each will allow you to gain an EX-ability after they reach the MAX!]

*Peak Performance* (Lvl: 1)- Force Mana throughout every cell of your body, strengthening yourself to the absolute limit, wasting no extra mana on anything. +50% STR, +50% END, +50 DEX; Cost 500mp/30sec

*5 Knuckle Shuffle* (Lvl: 1)- A barrage of 5 extremely fast punches that leaves the enemy completely stunned; Cost 30mp; High Chance to Leave Opponent Stunned.

*Deadly Strike* (Lvl: 1)- Aiming for the kill, this is a deadly bladed skill that attacks the weak spot of the enemy; Cost 30mp; High Chance to Critical Hit, High Chance to Insta-Kill

*Will of Humanity* (Lvl: MAX)- All of Humanity’s will to survive, thrive, and conquered is reaffirmed within you. Restore 75% of your HP plus a slow HP regeneration of 50hp/10sec for 200ec; Cost 50% mp.

*Behemoth Slash* (Lvl: 1)- Vicious bladed attack that deals monstrous damage to beasts as well as all foes alike; Cost 15mp; +50% damage to all unintelligent life.

*Reign Supreme* (Lvl: 1)- Execute a domain where you reign over all that it encompasses +30% STR, +30%VIT to you and all allies; Applies debuff to enemies in domain -30% STR, -30% VIT.

*Mana Manipulation* (Lvl: 1)- Convert Mana points into Attributes, temporarily boosting your stats 50mp/ 1ap.

*Speed Demon* (Lvl: 1)- With feet like lightning, you shoot passed your opponents with speed unmatched by any. Around you all things turn to blur: +50% DEX for 60sec; Cost 100mp.

*Mental Fortitude* (Lvl: 1)-When it comes to the strength and power of your mental you are completely unmatched. Nothing in existence can rattle your mental state and as such it is impossible for even the most deadly or overwhelming ailments to affect your perfectly even state of mind; +30% INT for 120sec: Cost 100mp

*Berserker Mode* - When active, mana quickly drains over time 100mp/10sec; All Mana Cost Are Nulled; +50% STR, +50%DEX; -50%END, -50% VIT, this mode ends when you run out of Mana, or your opponent is dead.

*The Devils Step*- An instantaneous, short range teleportation Skill that moves silently moves the user. Typically used for stealthy takedowns. Costs: 100mp, Cooldown 120sec.

*MAX Mana Proficiency*- -50% to all Mana costs.

*Devil’s Domain*- All those weaker than you shall fall. Absorb the Essence of those whose health falls less than 50% of your own. This essence temporarily boosts all Attributes by 5% and heals 20% of the HP absorbed and 5% of the Mana.

“Thanks for the quick explanation, but again it doesn’t seem worth it to spend all these points now. Especially since I’m LVL 0, I'll be able to easily grow with these skills, and level them up naturally as time goes on. Is there anything else that we can do right now?”

Those armor types are Helmet, Chest Piece, Chausses (or Pants Piece), Gauntlets, and Boots, respectively. As of right now you can also equip a maximum of two accessories! Weapons can also be placed in each of your hands and therefore 2 can be active at a time. However, I’ll tell you a secret. You can tell Meta to switch weapons and armor at any time, so you can easily quick change on the fly. Lastly, you have the ability to change your appearance independently from the armor that you are wearing. Try it out!]
