《Soul Summoner in Isekai (LitRPG & System)》79. End

Hanging below hawkgirl, Anno felt the thrill of flight as she watched the rapidly receding houses around her.
It's a pity that hawkgirl is so small.
If it were bigger, Anno could have ridden on it.
Liz was riding on a summoned wind wolf.
One person and three summons quickly made their way toward the town center.
The square in the middle of the town.
The eight remaining guards, their armor cracked and bloodied, stumbled and looked like they might fall at any moment.
Faced with the demonic creatures that surrounded them, the guards could only put their backs to each other and shrink into a small circle.
"Je Je Je!"
One of the ratmen rushings ahead was licking its dagger and looking at the heavily wounded guards with a wicked grin on its face.
Suddenly, it paused in its stride.
Looking at a large number of demon corpses around the human guards in front and the stones with a layer of blood all around, the rat man could not help but take a few steps backward.
The ratman assassin was a little confused.
According to its character, even if the human was already wounded, it wouldn't rush to the other side.
"Better let them charge!"
The ratman murmured in a low voice, then silently retreated to the back.
The other demons all felt a daze at the same time.
It was as if a part of their courage was suddenly missing, and they were not as fearless of life and death in battle as they were before - in fact after Liz became Anno's contracted object, she lifted the [Commander] skill.
The few guards who were still alive felt that the demons' attack had decreased a bit.
But despite that, against more than thirty level 6+ demons, including several level 8 demons, it was only a matter of time before these few guards fell.
"Captain Rodney, looks like we're fucked!"
Brooke wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said to Rodney who had a broken arm behind him.
Rodney, as the strongest guard in the field, had been focused on by the demons in the previous battle.
Apart from his left arm being cut off, Rodney's body had dozens of wounds of all sizes.
At the back, there was also an arrow stuck in his back.
Rodney was able to stand and not fall, solely through an unyielding will.

Hearing Brooke's words, Rodney, who was in a trance of consciousness, muttered, "Hold on ...... a little longer ...... to give the ...... townspeople ...... more time to delay ...... escape."
Poof!
No sooner had Rodney finished speaking than a badly wounded guard beside him couldn't hold on and collapsed to the ground!
The guards still standing had no time to feel sad for the fallen man as the demons began to attack again.
By the time Anno was brought to the battlefield by hawkgirl, Rodney and Brooke were the only two still struggling to hold on.
By the looks of things, the two were at the end of their tether as well.
"Thirty-six demons. One level 9, seven level 8, the rest are level 6 and 7!"
Anno let hawkgirl hover twice in the low altitude to see the information of the demons below, and then landed beside the two Rodney, summoning the goblin priest and other summons.
Anno, who appeared with hawkgirl, caught the attention of the magical creatures.
They naturally knew hawkgirl.
But shouldn't the latter be following Succubus-sama, so why did she appear here with a human?
Moreover, why did the goblin priest and the demons suddenly appear out of nowhere?
When the summoned goblin priest raised the wand in his hand and the big fireball that coalesced didn't blast at the humans but flew towards the demon team instead, all the demons froze.
Especially the goblins, they could never have imagined that the Lord Priest's magic would fall on their heads.
"Boom!"
With the explosion of the fireball, several of the demons in the center of the explosion were directly blown into pieces.
After a brief daze, the remaining demons looked at the goblin priest in anger.
In particular, the highest level 9 dogfolk. With its ax in hand, it rushed toward the goblin priest.
However, the goblin priest was protected by several summons in front of it.
Armed with their weapons, they met the onrushing demons.
After hawkgirl placed Anno at a high point, she also swooped down towards the demons below.
"Ow~"
Liz, who had arrived on her wind wolf, shouted out a retreat order towards the demons that were fighting and told the level 9 dogfolk to take a few demons behind her.
This order made the group of demons puzzled for a while again.
The humans are dying, so why were they retreating now?

But the leader's order they could only obey even if they did not understand it.
Apart from a group of demons who stayed behind to cover the rear, the others left after Liz.
Anno was relieved in his heart to see that the plan was working properly.
Although Anno was now level 8 and had collected some summoning materials and green level souls.
But facing more than thirty demon elites at the same time, he did not dare to say that he would win for sure.
Using Liz to separate the demon forces a bit made it a lot less difficult for him.
Ordering the summons to attack the demons left behind, Anno watched the battle from the roof of the house.
Including the level 9 dogfolk, there were six demons in total, not nearly as many as Anno's summoned creatures.
Coupled with the occasional attack from hawkgirl overhead, it was only a minute before all the demons around the dogfolk were dead.
Now, the dogfolk had to face the attacks of the summoned goblin warriors, dodge the attacks of the summoned slimes and goblin priest, and defend against the sneak attacks of the hawkgirl.
In no time, it was bruised and battered.
Boom!
A shot of magic from the goblin priest blew the dogfolk away along with the summoned goblin.
The hawkgirl then swooped down from above, its sharp claws tearing several dozen centimeter-long claw marks from the dogfolk's body, splashing blood everywhere.
Taking advantage of the dogfolk's poor condition, hawkgirl let out another [Spellbreaker Scream] as her wings flapped the wind blades that kept hitting the dogfolk.
Then, under the attack of another big fireball spell from the goblin priest, the continuously tortured dogfolk finally collapsed!
Gain Dogfolk Soul (Green) x 1
After letting the summons take the needed summoning materials off the demon corpses, Anno grabbed the hawkgirl's claws and headed after them in Liz's direction.
There were still over thirty demons on Liz's side, and Anno didn't want to let them go.
As for the badly injured Rodney and Brooke, Anno had noticed them but there was nothing he could do about it.
Staying would not heal the two men's wounds.
Liz learned through her mind that Anno was coming toward her, and divided the thirty demons into five more.
Although her instructions were for these demons to scout the area, in reality, it was sending them to Anno to die.
Anno was also quick to catch up with the five demons that had broken away from the group.
Entertained by a group of summoned creatures, these demons were soon reduced to corpses.
The rest of the demons kept circling the town led by Liz.
The number of demons also continued to dwindle, and it wasn't long before the last five were left.
"Lord Succubus, why did your hawkgirl just attack us? And what exactly are we looking for by circling?"
A goblin asked as he looked ahead at Liz and lifted his courage.
Liz glared back at the goblin and said sternly, "What, are you questioning my decision?"
Under the effect of [Disguise], Liz's aura startled the level 7 goblin.
The goblin returned in fear, "I dare not, Lord Succubus spare my life, spare my life!"
It was afraid of the succubus' whip on itself.
"Spare your life?"
Liz rode the wind wolf and looked up at the man who stepped out of the alleyway in front of her with a smile, "I don't think my master might spare your lives!"
"What?"
The demons that had been in a fighting stance because of Anno's appearance were so shocked that their eyes bulged out when they heard the word 'master' come out of Liz's mouth.
Several summoned creatures that had already been ambushed appeared from the surroundings and surrounded the only five remaining demons.
"Kill!"
At Anno's command, the summoners launched an attack on the demons.
Liz jumped off the wind wolf and trotted to Anno's side, hugging Anno's arm, pouting her lips, and whining, "Master, I have completed the task you gave me very well!"
Liz's tone and expression at this moment were like a pet waiting for a compliment.
"Good, very good!" Anno stroked Liz's head with satisfaction.
If it wasn't for Liz, these demons would be hard to handle.
"Hehehe~!"
An expression of enjoyment appeared on Liz's face as she leaned on Anno's shoulder.
When the last demon fell to the ground and died, Anno couldn't help but let out a breath.
"Finally, the battle is over!"

Numbers Continually Going Upward
The world has very politely ended in the most webfiction way possible. Everyone is now leveling up in various things. Problems are arising. Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.

Game? Second autumn
DROPED. This is a story about a guy who died and went isekai. While the characters may sometimes may seem too crazy, they are simply that, crazy. There is an actual way to do everything in this novel, may it be turning into a God, whatever the fuck is above that protect me from ever having a destiny like that, or conjuring a fire ball, and those are all explained during the novel. Some things are basic, like earth magic is stronger underground, or the law of equal exchange, but everything is explained at it's own time. Also on Webnovel.
