《Soul Summoner in Isekai (LitRPG & System)》13. Kill large slime

The injured giant slime's jumping speed has slowed down a lot.
The holes on the body that were corroded by the [Acid Jets] by the little limes also greatly reduced the healing speed.
Before running 100 meters, the giant slime was covered with holes, and mucus was constantly flowing all over the body!
Looking at the huge slime that was weakening a little bit, Anno was a little excited.
However, a large number of low-level slimes appeared in front of him. If he continued to let the slime retreat into the grassland, Anno would be stopped by these low-level slimes.
"I can't let you go!"
Anno was still waiting to summon the giant slime. How could he let it escape when he was his summoned object?
The legs exerted force and the speed increased sharply. Anno quickly surpassed the huge slime in front of him and blocked the opponent's way forward.
"Haw!"
An anxious cry came from the giant slime.
Seeing Anno blocking the front, it jumped up, trying to jump behind Anno.
After Anno easily dodged the acid attack, he looked up at the huge slime in the air and summoned the little limes who were ready to go.
The summoned little lime appeared in mid-air, only two meters away from the giant slime.
Four lines of acid precisely hit the giant slime.
After the giant slime landed, due to gravity, a large amount of slime shot out from the hole in its body!
The huge slime like a fountain slumped to the ground motionless.
It just so happened that at this time, the magic power of the little limes was exhausted, and Anno's poor magic power was consumed early.
Carrying the wooden stick, Anno walked up cautiously, wanting to give the opponent a fatal blow.
Just when Anno walked two meters to the side of the giant slime, the latter suddenly burst out, and his body full of wounds opened a crack from the middle and bit Anno.
"Fuck!"
Although Anno has been very careful, he never thought that the giant slime would come to this trick.
In a panic, he summoned the four little limes and blocked them in front of him, while waving a wooden stick and slashing it fiercely.
After hitting a stick, Anno didn't stop, turned around, and pulled away.

The summoned little lime saved Anno from the disaster, and they filled the big mouth of the giant slime.
When the big mouths were closed, Anno sensed that they were dead.
"Hoo~!"
Anno looked at the huge slime that was spraying with mucus and slowly creeping towards the depths of the grassland and was terrified.
The wooden stick in his hand was also half-swallowed just now, and the rough beveled surface was covered with traces of corrosion.
If the reaction was slower, it was not little limes who was swallowed and corroded just now, but him!
"It's scary enough!"
Anno wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and threw the wooden stick in his hand toward the giant slime.
"Pfft!"
The bitten end of the stick was directly inserted into the giant slime.
Anno saw the giant slime's body trembling.
After waiting for less than a minute, the deflated giant slime raised a green group and melted into Anno's body.
"The color has changed!"
Anno was puzzled when he saw the green soul.
Anno almost jumped up in excitement when he saw the display on the panel
Obtain Large Slime Soul × 1, EXP +120
Obviously, Anno has always been called the giant slime monster, formerly known as the large slime, and the level is very high!
When Anno killed a goblin at level 0, he only gave 70 experience points.
And the large slime gave him 120 experience points!
"The level of the large slime is definitely higher than level five!" Anno was very sure.
Not only is the color of the souls different, but also the panel lists the large slime souls separately!
Whether it was a level 1 slime soul or a level 4 slime soul, all he gets after killing it are slime souls.
Anno picked up the large slime skin on the ground and couldn't wait to summon the large slime, but found that the magic power was insufficient.
Retreat to a safe place, Anno recovers his magic power while resting.
After fighting with the large slime for about ten minutes, Anno's physical strength had already bottomed out just like his magic power.
Ten minutes later, Anno, who had recovered some magic power, was about to summon a large slime, but the panel showed that the level was too low to sacrifice green souls with level 6 and above!

"Damn!"
Anno wanted to scold angrily. He was still 60 experience points away from level 5, let alone level 6.
Packing up, holding the slime skins and half of the broken stick, Anno is ready to go back to the small town of Gruul.
Judging by the position of the sun, it was already noon.
From a distance, Anno could see the smoke wafting from the chimney.
Entering the blacksmith shop and putting 200 slime skins on the cabinet, Anno shouted to Old John, "I'm here to ship!"
Old John stared at Anno, whose body was covered in dust from the battle with large slimes, and the corners of his mouth twitched uncontrollably.
In the morning, hundreds of slimes were killed.
Is this guy really an ordinary person?
Not really?
Certainly not!
If ordinary people have this ability, are there so many slimes outside the grassland? They have been cleaned up long ago!
"Here are 2 silver coins, keep them!"
Anno didn't care about the change in Old John's tone. He took out half of the wooden mallet and asked, "My weapon is broken. Do you have a weapon here that sells for one or two silver coins?"
It's not that Anno doesn't want to buy a good weapon, he's been coveting that steel long knife for a long time.
But he has no money!
Counting these 2 silver coins, Anno's entire net worth is only 4 silver coins plus a few copper coins.
Old John took the wooden stick and looked at it for a while, smashed his tongue, then went to the weapon exhibition wall to search for a while, and took off a short sword.
"This short sword is 40 centimeters in length, 7 centimeters in the hilt, 33 centimeters in body, and sells for 8 silver coins! However, I can give you a discount and sell it to you for 5 silver coins!"
Old John handed the dagger to Anno, and said with a smile: "However, the slime skin you will get nearby, you must sell it to me first, and I will still buy it for 1 copper coin!"
The reason he was willing to offer 3 silver coins was that Old John was optimistic about Anno.
Slime skin can be used to make clothes or leather goods, and can be sold for 1.3 copper coins in Valcam City.
Old John bought it from Anno with 1 copper coin, and excluding various fees, he could earn 20 copper coins for every 100 pieces.
If Anno can kill four or five hundred slimes a day, Old John will earn 3 silver coins in a few days.
There's nothing wrong with this deal.
Anno understood that Old John wanted to cooperate with him for a long time to prevent him from selling slime skins to other merchants in the town - the merchants in the market also received slime skins, and the price was also 1 copper coin each.
He's actually very excited, but the problem is...
"I don't have that much money!"
Anno couldn't get 5 silver coins.
"Hahaha, with the speed at which you hunt slimes, you will soon have them!" Old John laughed, without any intention of taking back the dagger, "You can pay a deposit of 3 silver coins first, as long as you can make it within two Make up the remaining 2 silver coins within the day, and I will not charge you interest!"
As he said that, Old John took out a piece of parchment, wrote on it the right of first refusal for the slime skin and the arrears of two silver coins, and handed the pen to Anno.
Anno glanced at it, didn't find the problem, and signed his name.
After walking out of the blacksmith shop, Anno had a short sword on his waist. He only had 1 silver coin and a few copper coins left and owed the blacksmith shop 2 silver coins.
"Just 2 silver coins, you can repay the debt in the afternoon!" Anno stroked the dagger scabbard with his right hand, took a deep breath, and said to himself: "With the new weapon, set the goal for the afternoon to 300!"
With Anno's current strength and the newly equipped short sword, killing 300 slimes in one afternoon is not a big deal.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

The Writer
Frustrated with his limits, the young writer Seven accepts an offer from a supernatural entity, traveling to its world whilst given the chance to live past his regrets. Humans, though, are creatures that don't easily change, and his warped views of reality turn him into an unpredictable ally or foe in the game of death that is to follow. For the sake of translating his new experiences into a written masterpiece, he will spare nothing, not even his own life - so long as the work is complete. *** Romance tag was previously there, but it starts quite late in the story and I've yet to reach that part. I know how it will happen (more precisely, how I want it to happen), but currently, there are just subtle nuances that can only be left to the reader's very expansive imagination, and I wouldn't call that romance but a
