The day before the invasion was supposed to happen, according to a ruby-category whose soul stones were related to math, all the teams in the elite squad met up. The king was going to be the leader. I was in Squad G, which was mostly gold-categories. One had brought a silver-category apprentice, and the leader of the squad was diamond-category. Team R54 and Milk and Cookies were there, as were a few other gold-categories.

The first one was this guy who could apparently turn ten meters tall, and used the bonus weight to more then quadruple his strength. His team was a few auxiliaries focused on buffing. The next team was this team whose powers worked so well together, it was like watching two diamond-categories. There was one other team, and they were just summoning cannon fodder for help. The leader was supposed to help if things got dangerous, or do the final job, which the king was about to announce.

The king started announcing the plan.

"There are forty-three crucial nodes in the city. Seventeen nodes are too dangerous to attempt to attack. I, and a squad of elites who, at least, are ruby-category will hold off the people there. Three squads have been given fake explosives that are more obvious, so the invaders will likely target those explosives. They might find a few other explosives, but we are attacking twenty-three nodes, and only ten need to be targeted for the city to fail. The nodes are five meters in circumference, and the explosives are only going to blow up the nodes, which you should place the explosive in the center of. The city is yellow and the nodes are black. You all are good enough to sense the center, which has far more powerful energy fluctuations. The aura there is so powerful that on teams without a sapphire-category, the person whose aura is extremely powerful should place the device. The device will blow up once someone in the force sends a pulse of mana at it."

We all nodded in acknowledgement.

"Now, prepare for battle."

We all left to prepare.

Wopoimcl teleported to the city. It was somewhat underwhelming.

"The ancient fire shall arise. The nodes shall burn."

For the squad of fodder destroying the third city, the plan was simple. Send billions of fodder at it, and the fodder would grind down the nodes.

The next day, I woke up a minute early. I forced myself to go back to sleep. After a minute, I teleported to the Worldsafers hall. it was time to destroy the city.
