Most of the spaces had been eliminated by the silver-categories, but one in Kathmandu remained. I teleported to the space and flew in. I immediately sensed that the monster that was most powerful and keeping it together was at diamond-category. It was a t-rex with the tail of a leopard and the arms of a human, with megalosaurus claws. There were gold-category triceratopses with the heads of lions as its assistants, which it had about twenty of. There were about twelve thousand silver-category tigers with the legs of elephants in there. I flew up to a tiger-legged elephant and got this message:

Does two hundred silver-category damage with its teeth and claws. Can run at eight hundred miles an hour for six hours. Has fifty thousand gold-category health. Can be controlled by lionotopses, which can be controlled by a leomansaurus-rex.

I called up the teams. I said on voice chat, “Bronze-categories, try to fight the elegers. If you can’t defeat them, keep them away from the lionotopses and leomansaurus-rex. I have a healing ability which can resurrect a hundred bronze-categories, so don’t worry. Silver-categories, you need to fight the lionotopses and keep them away from the leomansaurus-rex. I’ll fight the leomansaurus-rex. I can also resurrect ten silver-categories, so don’t worry. We are all outmatched by category, but on the other world, any competent gold-category can fight a leomansaurus-rex. We need to fight, use tactical teams, silver-categories especially. No one can withstand a leomansaurus-rex in the network except me, another gold-category in the Delhi branch called Aryav, and a diamond-category from New York called Jack Jones'' (The diamond-category, I had found out on the news, was called Jack Jones.) “I trained Aryav. If this place breaks, we have only got seconds to save Kathmandu.” On that note, we charged.

I sensed they were doing well, and when I teleported to leomansaurus-rex, I found it with a crown. “I am Ling.” It said, as it ran towards me. “Why you no die? Me will attack harder!” It said, trying to supress me. I laughed bitterly. I teleported behind it, amputating its tail. It was little more than annoyed, as I suppressed it. “How weakling gold-category cut off me tail and suppress me?” It asked, while hobbling around in confusion.

I decided to afflict it, so it would die even if we failed. I started, “Suffer the cost of a lifetime. You will die. We almost all die, but you will die sooner.” It shot something from its glands, and I sensed it was poison. I teleported out of the way.

I tried slashing across me with its claws, but I dogged. We started sword fighting, even though it was using claws instead of swords. I sensed the bronze and silver-categories were doing well. Only one silver and six bronzes had died, and they had eliminated thirty-one hundredths of the monsters. I resurrected them, calling the copper-categories to help struggling teams.

We kept fighting for hours, not really changing things, when at the edges of the space, there was a black wall. The monsters tried running towards it. I sensed it was a portal, so, on voice chat, I said, “Keep them away from the walls. It leads to Kathmandu. Kabir, try using your powers to keep them away from the wall.”

Kabir was a silver-category with the boundary, wall, fire, blockade, and blockage soul stones, to make the ended confluence. He summoned extremely hard to break through boundaries that set you on fire.

The boundaries pushed in. When three fourths of the elegers and lionotopses had been killed, the space was like a room. Me and Ling’s souls were so powerful, that, because we were fighting and Ling wasn’t controlling it, everyone except us were forced to leave.

It persisted, getting smaller. Once it had become so small Ling didn’t fit, I dove through. I had to stop Ling from killing the one and a half people of the Kathmandu metro area.

I fought Ling in midair. “You will die.” Ling died.

A bronze-category I didn’t recognize slapped me back to reality. After the body piles had gotten four feet tall, everyone had been evacuated and all the lionotopses had been killed.

I then started on the elegers. I decided to destroy them, so I said on voice chat, “All silver-categories and below, leave. I have a plan.” I switched channels to the one with only Aryav. “You told me that ‘Diamond bombshells works like the nuke on Japan on a smaller scale.’ Since we are gold-category now, and we were iron-category back then, I think we can survive. You use it. I think it would be very mana-draining, so I’ll mop up any elegers left.” We did that.

Once all the elegers were dead, I sensed that about two hundred thousand people had died. I then noticed some brown creatures with long ears and a tube and point over the mouth sucking out their blood.
