After half a day passed the sun has set and the moon has started to light the path Reiki learned the majority of all of the new changes in his wish right now the world is made out of 60% land and 40% water the geology of the earth easily changed due to the wish all of the countries are still here but the landscape got a 100% increase and internet, idols, Video games, and cars still exist though buying cars is expensive so only the rich and some noble has them and there are also Guilds It’s the same in-game they hand out quests adventurers complete them the guild gets a 5% cut and anyone who wants to be an official adventurer needs to take an exam that's held every year.

Not only that apparently radiation and guns are still real in this world even after my wish the military is made out of two forces one armed with normal guns such as rifles, handguns and grenades which is only made out of warrior based classes while the force is made out of mages and the requirements of joining the military is completely strict with the lowest level being 100 and having a thorough background check even having something as simple as vandalism in your record you can already forget their chances of joining the military.

Anyone who waves their authority however they please even if it's a rumor they can kiss their position goodbye even joining a guild wasn't as simple as paying a fee and becoming a member joining a guild has one exam that’s separated into three and if you don't meet a certain criteria you can't join and have to wait for a year to take the exam again and every time you fail and try again next year the exam is changed every month to avoid recruiting weaklings which then leads to over-confident smug adventures thinking that their hot shit just because they're in a guild.

They're 2 forces known to the public but if you are royalty such as the princess there’s actually a third force their responsible for Espionage, Assassination, everything that needs to be cleaned up and it’s always dirty work they rarely make a move but when they do Blood will always follow and the only way to join the third force if you’re recommended by a noble of strong influence. After a few minutes of trying to find where his skills were but in the end resulting in nothing Reiki decided to swallow his pride and ask Yuiitsu he said. “Hey princess, how do I take a look at my skills?”

Yuiitsu was completely shocked by Reiki’s question, her eyes wide in disbelief and next was filled with scorn and a hint of confusion with Reiki’s ability to launch magic without chanting and being able to kill five bandits single-handedly he didn’t know how to see his own skills? The princess replied in an angry tone. “Huh? Are you kidding me with the type of magic you’re able to cast? You can easily be Mage yet here you are asking me how to open your skill list? I feel so sorry for your academy... I am curious which one is your academy, Reiki if you answer me honestly. I'll answer anything you have in mind.”

After each word that the princess said, her tone turned from anger into mocking she was hoping he would tell her what academy. Reiki goes so she could make a few arrangements to keep him under constant surveillance, someone as powerful as him that can change the entire country's fate.

Reiki said. “Oh, I go to Majutsu Academy.” As soon as Reiki said that the carriage came to an abrupt halt resulting in him falling from his seat, then the door swung open and Otome who was completely emotionless and quiet from the entire trip wore a shocked look apparently even she thought I came from some prestigious magic academy she then looked at me in complete disgust. Reiki thought. Ouch, I know you thought I was some rich young master, but you could at least pretend that you’re looking at a person and not some disgusting freak.

Otome then took the princess's hand and guided the princess outside the carriage and said. "Princess Yuiitsu I think we should have this peasant ride behind the carriage, seeing he's nothing but a lowly commoner whose identity we don’t know we can never be too careful here still the possibility he planned all this.” Otome spoke to the princess, she didn’t even whisper as she spoke normally so that Reiki could hear her.

After saying that once the princess was out of the carriage and put both her hands on her hips Otome then glared at me with daggers if looks could kill her glare would have killed Reiki a hundred times already no matter how Reiki looked at her eyes it completely said. “Touch her even if it’s by accident I’ll make sure that your death will be slow and you’ll be begging me to kill you.”

The princess turned around to face me and replied in anger. “Impossible! Majutsu Academy is the lowest ranking in the entire state, the fact that it’s still standing is a joke itself. All students from their after graduation were all useless magicians and half-assed warriors who can’t even use the simplest body strengthening magic to aid them in battle. Adding the fact that they can’t even afford to provide uniforms to any of their students now quit lying and tell us!” The princess said after each word her anger could easily be heard and by the end of the sentence she was practically yelling.

Reiki thought. I knew in the past, I went into some shit rate school that didn’t even need an entrance exam but this? Fuck no wonder this time I never even got a uniform I went to the most shitties magic academy that ever existed and apparently even just joking about being in the school is a no go.

He needed to be careful very careful right now Reiki lost all credit and see him as another commoner just one mistake could very well cost him not only his life but his entire family if Reiki’s own life was on the line he didn’t care about the consequences, but right now they know his family name so he can’t afford to take risks so he said. “Calm down Princess, I said I go to Majutsu Academy doesn’t necessarily mean I learned how to use magic from them. Logically speaking if I really went there they wouldn't be making sure that the public knows about me to try and gain a better reputation."

Reiki's argument was weak but it had to be true if someone with his talent to wield magic they would have made sure that the public would know about it and a low magic class academy like Majutsu Academy would easily flaunt how someone as gifted as him chose to enroll into there Academy that would cause all other Academies reputation to plummet knowing the fact that someone so gifted chose to enroll there it would then lead to the students speculating that the so the famous “Trash Academy” was able to win someone with so much talent but chose that Trash Academy specifically would lead to rumors that the academy that people laughed at and ridiculed had better things to offer than the so-called prestigious ones.

Yuiitsu and Otome were silent and were deep in thought if they didn’t believe what Reiki said it would lead to some unforeseen consequences and he needs to avoid that at any cost since right now he might be strong stat-wise, but in the end, he's still a commoner so if someone of higher status tried to do something fishy and he revolted he can be charged with treason.

After a few more moments of silence, the Princess said. “That’s right, going by your logic that means you’ve never even gone there once and you can’t have learned that scale of magic in that Trash Academy… But tell me this, what about your resume for the academy enrollment then? Don’t tell me you didn’t write down your ability to use magic. With magic like this all the Academies would do anything to make sure you’ve enrolled in their own Academy.” The princess spoke kindly and gently again, but when she spoke the word ‘Trash Academy’ it looked like it pained her like she was talking about some plague that can never be removed.

Reiki Replied. “I did put my ability to use magic, I wrote that I was able to use Water, Wind, Earth, Fire. I made sure that I sent all Academies my resume, but only the famous Trash Academy accepted me. So I concluded that all other Academies treated my resume as some kind of prank since my social standing is only a commoner."

After Reiki said that he then looked at his left hand and lifted it to his face starting from his index finger was covered in fire his middle finger had a small water ball that was the same size as a coin on top of it and half of it was made out of ice his ring finger had a sphere of wind on it and was can easily affect the air around them his pinky had a rock that was changing in shape.

During this process, Reiki was completely focused on two elements in each hand was somewhat hard. But doing all four of them in a single hand needed attention to detail, focus, understanding the element itself and perfect control of mana and the look and the princess and the maid was completely priceless. They stood there with their mouths slightly open with their eyes in complete disbelief.

“… My apologies Reiki if I have somehow offended you I’ll make sure that when we get to the place I’ll try and arrange some things and see if we can get you into a more befitting Academy for you." The princess then slightly bowed and put her hand in front of Reiki indicating that she trusted him... Again.

As the princess was finished speaking Otome said. “Please accept my humblest apologies Akihito Reiki if I have offended you in any way. My only argument is that I was only putting the princess’s safety in mind.” when Otome said that she was halfway in her slight bow and then realized something. "Here are the five cards of the bandits you killed if you go to the Guild you can redeem their bounty on their heads and can gain experience and a fair amount of coins for it." Otome reached into one of her pockets and then handed five guild cards into Reiki’s hand.

“These are fake Guild cards and the only reason why the Guild has bounties on them is that depending on the person every bounty has different rewards the more dangerous the person or quest the better the rewards. Every time you go into any Guild make sure to take a look at the bounty board and you can easily tell if it’s fake or not all you have to do is apply magic into it a real Guild would absorb the magic and glow a faint blue while a fake one would glow but would not have any color.” Otome explained herself she then applied magic into her own Guild Card and the fake one the one was emitting a faint blue glow meaning it was real while in her left hand was emitting but it was colorless.

Reiki thought. huh, so these are some examples of the so-called “flow of Magic” that could be pretty useful in the future I wonder…

As the princess was already in the carriage again she said. "Alright, let’s talk while we continue our journey. We don't have much time and we wasted a fair amount here.” As she finished her sentence she took a sip of her cup of tea.

“Understood Princess Yuiitsu.” Otome then gave Reiki all five of the fake ones and picked up the reins of the carriage and waited for the command of the princess again.

“Oh Reiki, for your previous question all you need to think or say is Skill list and it should pop up in front of you, but you can do it next time I still have something to tell you.” The princess said in an in-a-matter-of-fact tone as she finished her sentence.

It was that simple?! I feel like a total idiot all I needed to think was Ski... Reiki thought, but then the princess interrupted him and dragged him back inside the carriage. “Wait, there’s still more!?” Reiki said in complete astonishment.

“Of course, a lot more and don’t even think of checking your skills while I do my lecture." she then leaned into Reiki’s ear for a whisper and said “I’ll make you regret not listening to me.” Then the princess revealed a smile that looked normal but Reiki knew it might be a smile but it was not a smile at the same time

“Understood.” Reiki lazily replied, not too bothered about it, he thought. It's not like she’ll see me check my skill while I listen right?

The atmosphere inside the carriage went from friendly to hostile in a blink of an eye and the source was the princess herself, she looked at Reiki like she knew every word that he had just thought of and didn’t like it.

Reiki thought. So the princess can be angry when she wants to be. I might as well play with her. Reiki then put on a guilty face and innocently hugged the princess. His hands were on her waist and his face was now in her two valleys, they weren’t the biggest but they still were soft and firm like a marshmallow. He then looked up to face the princess and said. “I’m sorry princess, would you forgive me for what I was thinking? I promise I’ll be good this time."

The princess' face went from calm to completely red, her entire face blushed that reached all the way to her neck. It took her a moment or two to find something to say and said. “F-f-f-fine, but O-only this once there won’t be a next time you understand?” She did her best to take on a calm and commanding voice and succeeded but her shaking body said otherwise.

Reiki then smiled happily and said. “Thank you so much princess, someone, like you can easily unite Japan if you were to someday take the throne. I don't know who’s going to be your husband, but he’ll be the luckiest man alive to take you as a wife.” He specifically said the word “wife” to tease the princess.

She didn’t reply and just stayed silent. Reiko thought. I’m in no rush to see my skills but need to see them before I go into battle to try and understand them. I might as well wait until she lets me.
