《Mushoku Tensei: That one forgotten Mob》Chapter 42: Countermeasure [2]

[Claude POV]
Paul and his vigilante group have been employed by Arbalest. While it will take some time for me to deal with this continent's matter, it can be a good link to our future.
I just didn’t expect that Somar would be another link towards the bright future…
Sigh…
This world sure is different from what Kuro knows in his world’s work…
As I thought about the future plan, the discussion about what Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd plan continued.
Although I’ve said that her parents were already deceased, Eris still wished to return to Fittoa. In order to finish his job, Ruijerd and Rudeus will follow Eris until they reach the region and continue to think after that.
“Well, let’s just leave it at that… and here…”
I leave them be and give a map to Rudeus.
“What is this?”
“It’s the last trace we’ve found on Lilia and Aisha. You better search for the in the area. Since Arbalest seems to fail in infiltrating Shirone…”
“Wow… Was Shirone that good? They succeed in stopping your group infiltration…” Eris said.
“I don’t really know about that. The report on the said area hasn’t reached me.”
It’s the truth. I don’t know what’s the deal with the Shirone Kingdom. The anime Canon only tells the part where Aisha was kidnapped by Zanoba’s little brother. I forgot his name since he’s too template…
Heck, Kuro’s memory is already blurry with this deal.
I don’t know what’s the future entails anymore…
“Anyway, you deal with your family, and I will try to finish my work here as soon as possible so I can head to Asura later… I still need to help Mike deal with the annoying nobles…”
I said to him and stood up from my seat.
If you want to ask me why Am I lying to them, it’s easier because I’m afraid of the being named Human God.
As of now, I only know that Rudeus and Geese are someone linked to that being.
How would he play with the human isn’t something I know, but I am fully aware of the fact that I am still powerless against that being.
As of now, I’d needed to be a transparent person to that thing.
This means, before Rudeus meeting with Dragon God Orsted. I need to stay away from him and Geese…
Oh well, when that thing pushed me, I will retaliate.
But, since Human God had yet to do anything to me, I can presume that it's’ unaware of me, or I’m not a threat to him.
“I’ll leave with C. Paul can think more about the plan with his group. While Dead end can do as they wish…”
I said so and left the room.

Behind me, C followed me.
As he closed the door, he asked me.
“What would we do next, master Claude?”
“Yeah… for now, let’s have an exam for Arbalest Milshion branch…” I said while I could hear C’s gulping.
What’s wrong with him?
Am I that scary?
I said while C gave the announcement to the other member.
…
..
“Here, I thought running here would save me from a sadist trainer, but I actually send myself to the pit…”
“I second you on that, bro… I know what you feel…”
Arbalest’s members group themselves and create some backstory I don’t wish to hear. However, I know I’m somehow spartan in my training in the past. I don’t think I gave them the training I did…
They’ve only given half of my regular training, and they already complaining?
What a sissy…
“Now, shut the damn trap. Because this handsome instructor of yours will talk!”
With that, the ground became noiseless.
It seems my drill hasn’t been forgotten these years.
Good.
“Okay, before you guys start the sparring. I will tell you that the training menu I had for the future will be created based on what I see today. Remember, when I see you lacking in either the moves, I’ll punish you on the spot!”
I said sternly.
I don’t know why they suddenly gulped when I said punishment.
It’s not like my punishment as scary as my time in the Dungeon, nor was them as frightening as the other Me feel in the Dungeon.
I will just boil them in a pot of boiling water for some time or leave them in the wilderness without anything in their body for a day or two.
It’s good to train their heat resistance and survival ability. Just look at them. No one died in the Metastasis after being punished like so.
Either way, I start the sparring.
Looking at them, I can already see that their weakest is as strong as Paul when I’m 7. Now that I’m already 13, I can see that Paul is slacking himself too much since the Arbalest member is already slightly better than him on the ground.
Sigh…
Now that I’ve cleared some doubt of mine, I can already teach my newest swords style to my subordinate.
I named it Cloud Style.
I said Swords style, but it’s actually Weapon style.
It’s a technique that allows you to use any weapon, unlike the North style, which is more like a street fight.
It’s the combination of the North God, Water God, and Sword God Style with more types of weapons.
I mean, I’m a magic Swordsman, after all.
There’s no way I’m not using them as an advantage to create better Arbalest.

Finding that, none of my members slacking off. I praised them and gave them the Cloud Style movement, each of them is something that can be improved more since I only reached the Saint ranked of the Cloud style.
The improvement should become later since I need more time to have the perfect stature.
I’m 13 and still growing.
Now that I’ve taught them the style, I told them to have a forum to perfect it. As most of them are already beginner Advanced Swordsman, I can put my trust in improving their style.
They’re actually the first generation of Cloud Style in this world. As I said so, their expression filled with pride.
I can see that some of them want to the others branch about it, but I leave them alone after teaching the Style.
Cloud style has no form, as everything can be formed from the cloud.
With that being said, I received the report from C.
“They’ve packed, huh…”
I already know what will happen to Rudeus after his departure.
Knowing his demise might be found there, I can’t help but want to help him and try not to let him and Orsted meet with each other.
However, my wish might become detrimental to the worlds’ future, as Rudeus's meeting with Orsted will be another turning point for him. This way, he can continue to develop himself better…
There’s also another reason I can’t follow Rudeus and meet with Mike as soon as possible.
You already know what’s my ability is.
That’s right, I can feel my regret at another point in the multiverse.
The other me that meet their dead-end will send me their wail of help in exchange for the memories they want to help complete their dying wish.
I called this ability as Wailing Point…
As much as I want to know about the future, all the other me have only 5 years of experience ahead of me.
If there’s someone that can survive in another 5 years at my age in the present and died in at that time, they will give me their memories.
In exchange, I must fulfill their dying wish.
As of late, I just realized…
Claude, that wailing for my help isn’t just someone transmigrated to my body. Even those with the same soul as me can send me their wishes and memories…
Moreover, the target of the wish is still in Millshion…
The City of Criminal...
…
..
.
[Rudeus POV]
We planned to head to the Central continent today, in this departure. Paul sends me along with his team and brings Norn with him.
“Hey, Norn… Big brother Rudeus will be parting with you today, you know?...” I said to her.
“Okay, see you later…”
Norn said to me bleakly…
What.
This big brother feels hurt.
I mean, she really acts so sweet with Claude all the time. But why’d she act so cold towards me…
“Father, did I do something to make Norn mad?...”
“Hmmm, she might still remember all the bad things you say to Claude in the spar, you know? There are also several bruises you did to me, right?” Paul said teasingly.
“Ugh… Norn, give me a hug at least?”
I said pleadingly.
I can see her looking towards me with wariness.
“I won’t bite…”
“Father, Mothers, and Claude said to not follow a pervert. Don’t even get close to them, and I know from Aisha's big brother. Rudeus is a pervert, so I can’t get close to him…” Norn said, hiding behind Paul.
“Pfft”
I am flabbergasted at what she said.
Who’s the one that dared to laugh at that!
I am Innocent!
“Don’t deny it, Rudeus! You’re a pervert who tried to get under my skirt years ago!”
Eris!
You don’t say that in a loud voice.
“hahaha! As expected from Paul-san’s son!”
“Right! Right! Like father like Son!”
Ey! Don’t say it!
“Father is also a pervert…” Norn said, looking wary. She suddenly runs away from Father and heads to the other.
“Wait… Norn…”
I snickered at the crestfallen Paul.
“Sigh, well, she’d know it later when we meet… I’ll tell her more about the relationship… sigh…”
“Right, Claude gave you the report on Buena Village, right, father?”
“I got it here…” He said, handing me the paper. “Lilia, Aisha, and Zenith weren’t there.”
Looking at the deceased name, I can remember some of them and feel a little bit sad.
It’s a short but heartrending list.
“I know that Somar’s parents are already dead, but… do you remember Claude’s parents' name? I can’t remember them, and it’s weird that Claude didn’t try to meet them first…”
Paul suddenly gets surprised and sees the paper once again.
He snatches it from my hand and reads the list carefully.
Claude is really fond of his parent. I met him with his parent when I played with Sylphy in the village.
Whenever he’s free, he always helps them or kids around.
I can also see their fondness with their gaze towards Paul.
They are a happy family.
This is one reason Claude hid the fact he’s a Miko in the first place, I presume.
“It’s here…”
Paul said.
Ugh…
“Their names, it’s in the deceased list…”

The War of our Stars (SWTOR Fan fiction)
YAH, PICTURE! Also, I used "The Old Republic", as I couldn't fit in "Star Wars"....... Yes, the title does mean something. I guess this is a SWTOR Alternate Universe Fanfiction? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used glowtxt, Microsoft word, and paint to make that. I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURE, I got it when I searched up "copyright free". Also, I just used glowtxt, but if whoever made glowtxt wants me to stop, I'll get rid of it. Whilst this is a fanfiction of SWTOR, the setting is VERY different, you will not see any SWTOR characters within this Novel, there will be places both made up and already existing in SWTOR. Take for example, whilst the Dark Council still exists, it will have completely different members. Also, there are minor changes to the history before and during the Old Republic, but there is little overall change, with the main character starting out at a similar time to a starting character. Star Wars the Old Republic Fanfiction. You'll understand the title, not in the first chapter, but as Frederick goes to outer space. Before the Rule of Two, there were multitudes of Sith and Jedi. Numbering thousands of both Sith and Jedi, a great war between the Empire and Republic has existed since time immemorial. From our World, a young boy named Frederick is born into the Galaxy of Star Wars, born into an Imperial Family, he lives up to the expectations of becoming a powerful Sith. But all he wants to do is to survive.... But by surviving, he does more so than simply surviving. Many have made star wars fanfictions, and this one will probably...... (I have read, watched and played Star Wars, so here you go) NOTES: Action and Adventure are a bit light for the first few Planetary Arcs. I'm terrible at comedy and romance will come will really late. Absolutely terrible until Corellia.
