"By the Dragon God Of Creation! What happened to my library?!" The Kobold Scholar howled angrily, he stomped inside and slammed the door shut, "Now who's the one who caused this mess in my precious work space!" A soft yet irritating cry made him stop barking out questions.

A short moment passed by as the angry librarian approached the source of the trouble, he walked across the sections. After walking for a while, he saw a blue light glowing on one of the book shelves, he stepped closer and examined it, "Oh the Eternal Forest damn it, bloody spacial magic, how did it even bypass all my magic-cancelling ritual arrays?" The kobold groaned before muttering words in rapid succession.

The scholar winced when he felt a part of his mana pool temporarily locked, he growled, "This better be worth it." His hands swiped away all the magical residue, before he found himself holding a human baby. "Why is there a human newborn here? Who would waste their time and resources to teleport a mortal baby inside my library without triggering any of my defenses and countermeasures?" He groaned and shook his head, he looked at the tiny human, pausing for a minute before nodding begrudgingly and sighed, "Fine, whoever you are, I'll take care of the human child, I need a library assistant anyways, it can also cook for me and clean the halls too."

The baby frowned in his arms before suddenly crying loudly, the Kobold Scholar facepalmed, "I'll need the Caffiend Witch for a favor, maybe milk coffee will work." He carefully opened the door and walked out with an irritated snarl while the little freeloader continued to cry for some milk.
