《The Red Snowman》The Big Boredom

The yeti grabbed his box of puzzles, it was his favorite hobby. Putting pieces together to create a beautiful picture. He liked peace and quiet, with tea and crackers.
Yet, his peace couldn't last forever. Somebody knocked on the door.
Grumbling, Yeti left his puzzle pieces and approached the peephole, who could that be?
It appeared it was his friend, Max the Hippo, but why was he here?
Yeti opened the door, albeit reluctantly, it was his day off and he didn't plan to be bothered. He hoped that Max understood it, but it was kind of late for that.
"Tristan!" - Max called, that was Yeti's name. - "I'm really bored."
"Grrr, urghh." - Yeti growled. It wasn't his problem. - "Urrr. Drrrr."
"Yes, I understand. It's your day off. You want to spend it on the puzzles... but please, understand. I'm really desperate here!" - Max argued.
What could be the problem? Yeti knew that Max could pick any activity and be done with that.
"Guhhhh, arghhh?" - Yeti asked.
"I don't know. I just don't feel like doing anything."
Yeti was confused, perhaps building airplane models would cheer Max up? It was Max's favorite hobby after all. Yeti looked at Max, something didn't feel right. Max seemed really, really sad and tired. Yeti thought – I will bring him the birthday gift that I've stashed until next month, then I'll get him another gift.
As he thought, as he did.
Max looked at the box with parts of the plane. - "It must've cost a fortune! I... I can't take it."
"Bahhh, grrrr." - It was nothing to Yeti, he was CEO of an ice cream company.
Max was ashamed, it was truly the best gift he could receive, but there still was a problem.

"Sorry, Tristan. I... I don't feel like modeling. Lately, I can't put any model together." - Max explained.
"Gurrrr! Drrrarrr!!!" - Yeti was irritated, but didn't want to show that. He treated his friends with uttermost respect and care. He had to get to the bottom of this. - "Rarrrr, drrr?"
"It's... Yes, I've tried. I've tried everything. I've also tried exercising, learning to cook, daydreaming. Nothing works. I lose focus and energy halfway through the task, I don't enjoy it at all, and even after hours of doing anything, I'm not productive. There're no results!"
"Rarrr?" - Yeti couldn't tell what's wrong.
"Yes, I get enough sleep, even more than usual, and drink enough water." - Max explained.
"Wrrrrr..." - There was only one thing yeti could recommend, to meet a boredom specialist.
"...but it's expensive..." - Max complained.
"Ghrar!" - It was no excuse, Tristan knew that nothing else could be done.
"...you didn't let me finish! I already visited him, twice." - Max added.
"Arrghhh?" - Yeti inquired.
"I talked to him for about two hours and he did nothing! He just gave me one general piece of advice that he later admitted doesn't really apply! He just listens and asks questions, and time passes. He has no plan or whatsoever and he couldn't even tell me when does his treatment will produce results!" - After describing his experiences with a specialist, Max became really sad.
"Rawwr, grawww." - Yeti admitted, he didn't know what to do. - "Rewrrr?" - He suggested, perhaps Max would be interested in finishing the puzzle with him.
Max cheered up. - "Really? But it's your day off!"
"Wrrrr. Groar." - Yeti smiled and invited Max inside.
"Thanks... but I will just watch. Is it okay with you?" - Max asked, a bit abashed.
"Urrrghh!" - Yeti liked it better but didn't admit it. Instead, he said that Max could join whenever he would feel like.
"Thanks, Tristan!" - Max smiled and sat next to the table.
Yeti left to the kitchen, opened a cupboard, then a fridge, and took out Max's favorite cookies and milk, then both friends spent the entire day working on puzzles.
Max felt better, just for one day.
