Chapter 1
Beginning of the New Era
Catie's part (lvl 6 inventorial s)
About 60 years after the legend's death, the world is currently a bit messed up place. The Sentinel empire got shattered into pieces, then parts of it reunited into several different countries. The coastal republic's crime death rate has risen by 3 times, well it's really not a crime rate since coastal lawlessland murders are not considered a crime… but you get the point. Moving on, the Tal empire has risen and taken over most of the southeastern part of the continent. As a citizen of the Kalania I find all of these very threatening, especially the last part. However, Kalania and our sister nation Runaenia is well prepared if the Tal empire is stupid enough to invade.
Addition to that, there is an ancient prophecy that Max Sigil Knight Commander ultra class who saves the world from an expanding empire appears once every thousand years or so. Doing this is the requirement for the hero master class. A thousand years ago the max sigil knight commander arose from our part of the world. Though there wasn’t a country called Kalania at that point, she is our national hero. After destroying many of the empire armies, she dueled against the emperor. After the long epic battle, she took a fatal blow from the emperor. However she wasn't going to die alone, not when the victory was so near. She gathered the last of her strength and sliced off the emperor's head. Losing too much hp from the battle, the emperor didn't have enough of it to regenerate his head. So he died. After killing the emperor. The sigil knight commander, our hero, closed her eyes, never to open again.
This was the story of our first hero, and our last hero, for now. Sadly, she failed to make it to the hero master class. So technically she wasn't a hero class, but hero has many meanings anyways. So, if a new person trying to be a hero shows up this time, it will be the second. However this time, the max sigil knight commander isn’t showing up. Well I mean, they would first have to meet all the hard requirements of sigil knight commander ultra class, and it has even harder requirements to max. In addition, since you need 5 levels for base class, 50 levels for super and 100 for ultra. You would need a total of at least 155 levels. And that is if you don't use any of them for different classes. It's really hard, you know. Due to all these reasons, I am trying to cheat through the system to become the hero. I think I found a loophole, which is why I decided to progress as an inventorial. Yes you heard me right, an inventorial, not an inventer.
Red Point's part (lvl 138 DS u)
I swear, my patience is running low. I have been stuck in this room for like 6000 years now. I ate books to survive this long, which was nowhere near as delicious as real food. Usually, a spirit weapon, like myself, should have been passed on to the disciple of the owner to enable their disciples to continue their legacy. However, stupid Ferzgark, my master, decided to announce to the world, “Only the person who is worthy to find my stuff will be able to use it.” and hid me in this 'who knows where' room. He probably hid me in a place where nobody could find, maybe in a pocket world in just a random house or the store. Imagine being stuck in a room for 6000 years. Lemme tell ya, It's like being in hell without a fire.

Let me introduce myself properly, I am Red Point, the legendary spear. I am a spirit weapon. Like all spirit weapons, the base is the spear, but I can move around with a humanoid body. The distance I can move away from the weapon body is proportional to the levels. I am a level 138 dragon slayer. I am nowhere near as strong as Ferzgark once was, who had been a level 500, hybrid ultra dragon slayer/faceless one/ultra necro, this is because he used 3 different weapons to progress, which divided the exp and even worse, spirit weapons only get 1/3 of the exp that their user gets. I mean, if the spirit weapon got the same exp as the people, they would accumulate exp really easily and become really overpowered, because some spirit weapons are passed down for generations. However, the average age for the spirit weapon is only 5 years.
By the way, there isn't even a lantern or a candle, I need to depend on my senses to find books and eat them. Doing so is a little annoying, but the worst part is… I'm running out of books. If nobody comes soon, I’ll probably die, and my legacy will be deleted from the world forever. True, that I don’t really care about my legacy anymore, I just want to eat some actual food before I die. I don’t want the 13000 books I ate to go to waste. I need to eat some good food in this world!
I am focusing and meditating again. By the way, my strength grew a lot in 6000 years. Exercising and practicing in a solemn room for a very long time, even if it didn’t make my levels get higher, helped my stats get much better. While thinking this I start meditating. I focus on the sound of the air, the sound of my breathing, my heart thumping, and somebody’s footsteps. These meditations helped me get through my loneliness and pain of loss of my friends. Maybe I should meditate for a couple months now to save up some books to eat. Wait, didn't I think in meditation that I heard somebody’s footsteps just now?
SOMEBODY IS FINALLY HERE?
Instant later the door is opened. There is a hirian prince, at least he looks like one, along with a couple guards and a fisherin who is holding a giant backpack, she is probably a slave.
“Ah, you must be Redpoint, I am the 9th prince of the Hab Kingdom. Be my new spear!”
“mmm… lemme think about it” I say.
“I said be my new spear” yells the prince. I don’t think he knows that I have a free will, and that if I want, I can easily kill him. I obviously don’t want to be owned by this prince. This prince probably thinks he owns the world. He is very annoying. Checking my options, guards won’t be suited because they will just hand me over to the prince, so there is only one choice, probably.
I walk toward the fisherin, while holding my spear. She becomes startled as I stand right in front of her. I hand my spear to her.

“Do you accept my spear?”
“Haaaah?” she shouts, obviously surprised by this turn of event.
“Do-oo yo-u accept my spear?” I ask.
“Y-yes?” says the fisherin.
“Good, now close your eyes''.
Melarie's part (lvl0 slave)
Hello, I am Melarie, the fisherin. I used to live in the Cities in the Sky. However, when I was 5, our family got so poor that they sold me to a slave trader in the Hab Kingdom. Even if owning slaves in the Country in the Sky was illegal, they were still legal in the Hab Kingdom. I was sold to lesser nobles to do the choirs in the house. 4 years later, those novels got poorer and sold me to different people, I was sold for 6 times in the next 5 years, then I ended up in the Hab Kingdom army. Fisherin weren’t allowed to hold weapons or train with the soldiers in Hab Kingdom army tho, they were mainly used as a sandbag for people training to fight greatsword users or enemy fisherin, because we were immune to weapon stun. If you fight people who don't get stunned for the first time, you’ll feel really weird. At least it was better than being a Robian, they were used for exp, meaning they were hit way way more. Worse than being hit, I was whipped a lot too, because I couldn’t read the mood majority of the time. I was also given really crappy food, and even worse, it was a miniscule amount. I could never fill my belly up.
6 years of living like that, one day the 9th prince gathered some soldiers and a slave from this army to go on a journey to find the Red Point. Since I really loved the story of the legendary faceless, I signed up for it. I think everybody thought the mission would fail, every month there would be gossip about where one of the legend’s treasures was, and most of them were just fake news. So I was the only slave to sign up for it. However, walking day and night for a week, we finally found the legendary spear. I wanted to sign a contract with the spear, but I knew I was just a slave and that the spear would go to the prince, however I still looked in awe as Red Point spoke. Then he just walked right to me, WAIT WHAT? AT ME?
“Do you accept my spear?” he said.
I was like “Haaah?” I was just so startled that I couldn’t say anything.
“Do you accept my spear?” He asked again. I finally got my consciousness back and said yes.
“Fish, give me the spear or give me your life.” shouted the prince. “Guards, be prepared to attack the fish!”
Ah, oh, this wasn’t good, Prince could literally one shoot me out of existence. However, the Red Point appeared beside me and said “Now close your eyes”.
I did, and as soon as I closed it, my body was out of my control, however it felt so good, like dancing in the flower field as the spring morning sun was rising. It felt like being in heaven. Couple seconds later, the feeling was over, so I opened my eyes only to see the horrifying site.
“Ahhhhh, why are the prince and the guards dead!?''. There were severed limbs and torn apart bodies lying down in front of me. I guess I danced a waltz of death, but then, why do I have a smile on my face!?
Nora's part (lvl 45 assassin s)
“Things never last forever, remember that for well… forever?”, uh… forget about this stupid quote. I am Nora, an assassin. A strong one at that, well, I used to be a commoner from Earth, but I practiced dagger skills from time to time, and then slayed some slimes to increase my levels. Once I was good enough to unlock the assassin, I knew I had to unlock it. I mostly upgrade and train lethality. It’s my favorite skill, severing people’s legs, tearing their bodies apart, while I disappear for a moment, immune to all attacks. When I become a strong faceless one, I know I'll have the best chain lethality in the world, even better than the legend’s.
Oh, I forgot to tell you, yesterday I found something that changed everything for me. I somehow found the legendary dagger of the legend. I found her in the legend’s chamber. I know that all 3 legendary stuff are stored in a different chamber. I found this chamber in a shop in this forest. It went like this, yesterday I accidently fell down and hit the wall, or would have had, but the wall was an illusion and inside was a chamber of the Legend. Considering this shop is visited by like 100 people a day, it’s a miracle that it hasn't been found for 60 years. Yes, legend died 60 years ago, but the dagger told me that she was stuck in this room for 6000 years. Maybe time works differently in these chambers. By the way, she said her name was Morilus. Well, now that I have a legendary dagger, I will become a legendary faceless one.
