Ye Mo couldn't get careless, he first needed to heal.
He sat down in a lotus position and started to absorb qi inside his body through the method described in the book.
He could feel vibrations throughout his body like his whole being was trembling, his ribs were slowly going back in place, his skin took a fiery teint and strenght filled his muscles.
After some time in meditation Ye Mo rose up and his skin returned to it's tanned color.
"Such a strong feeling only after a short time cultivating and it was just the qi cultivation method, a star rank technique is truly something else."
He was overjoyed, he could finally see the light after all theses years struggling, like his life was just starting now. But the hunger took him back to reality, he needed to go back to the city.
Being shirtless he concealed the body refining technique in his pants. Fortunately it was night and no one would care about him anyway so he didn't worry too much about it.
After some time he safely reached the city and got back to his rundown shack in the slums of the periphery of the city.
Ye Mo slept a bit and cultivated the rest of the night. He would never sleep too long in case someone approached him but also because he was too cold.
The next day in a dark alley, a young man with messy black hairs was hurriedly eating some fruits and drinking water while looking left and right. It was Ye Mo and the fruits were stolen, with the state of his body right now stealing something from a food stall was a piece of cake. The vendor wouldn't notice one or two fruits missing and he did this half his life after all. The last time was an isolated case since thievery wasn't a sure science and he was very weak at this time and urgently needed to eat but it was still rare for him to get caught else he would have died long ago.

"Phew, i can feel i got stronger and now that im sated the plan can start" Ye Mo muttered while touching his stomach.

The evening, in a tavern of the town a drunkard was leaving.
He was staggering every steps, it could be seen he drank a lot.
"F***ing hell, i have no chance today."
Looking at the twelve bronze coins in his hand the man was grumbling. 1 gold equalled 100 silver and 1 silver equalled 100 bronze coins. 12 bronze coins was barely enough for 2 drinks. The man was a regular of the tavern, no one knew his real name so everyone called him old fool.
He lost his job long ago and to pay his booze he was selling nights with his wife to scums and gansters of the slums. Of course he didn't leave her the choice.
But with time her condition was degrading and less and less people would pay for her hence his fool mood.
"I need to find a solution fast, maybe i can sell her as a servant to some young master, worst comes i can just kill her and sell her organs. Im sure it would last me a pretty long time hehehe..."
Talking to himself the drunkard came to an empty alley and started relieving himself when suddenly a hand was put on his mouth. He didn't have time to do anything as a sharp piece of glass was already ripping through his throat. His eyes rolled back and the man fell in a pool of blood.
A small shadow could be seen dragging the body.
