A history professor taught a 5-week course on ‘The Rise and Fall of The Hybrids.’

Week 1:

“Our species technologically dominated Earth. We shared a similar evolution to the native humans, and some of us interbred with them, mostly with extraordinary though occasionally catastrophic consequences (especially when coerced).”

Week 2:

“The Supreme Council gathered together to make their annual mandates:

‘We declare the early termination of mutant hybrids disdainful and against the legacy of our superior genetic prowess. The death of one of us is the death of all of us. Therefore, we forbid all terminations.’

Week 3:

“The news caused much civil disorder, but the law soon became the norm.”

Week 4:

“Over time, the hybrids grew in population, and many with varying mutations were rejected by society. As a result, an entire caste system had formed, contributing to colonies of hybrid exiles living in squalid conditions.”

Week 5:

“To remedy the crisis, the Supreme Council outlawed all alien-human relationships. Eventually, the humans were outnumbered and became extinct due to the stigma and fear of hybrid creations.”
