"Good morning, students. Today, I'm going to cover one of the most tragic periods in our peoples' history. When we faced imminent destruction by dictators who pitted our nations against one another to engage in absolute destruction."

The students gasped ...

Gerbyian rose her hand—"But Professor, can't we instantly translocate anyone that's a criminal?"

"Yes, Gerb. That's an excellent point. And, on that note, I'll start today's lecture toward the beginning of the end of what we historians like to call 'The Unaccountable Era'"

Dr. Zith worked underground with the resistance while developing 'the vaporizer'— a weapon capable of molecular-disassembly.

"How's your progress Dr. Zith?" asked the resistance leader Yita.

"Well ..." Dr. Zith placed a piece of fruit on a table and tried to 'vaporize' it. "As you can see, for an infinitesimal moment in time, it teleported into the multiverse. But for a temporal balance, we must return it to our own universe; otherwise, it'll produce a cascade of catastrophically persistent micro blackholes!"

"Oh, so you can't really vaporize anything?"

Dr. Zith frowned and nodded.

"Doctor Zith." Yita projected a holomap and highlighted a spot. "I've got an idea ..."

Luthx, a ruthless and sadistic dictator, gleefully watched recordings of captured enemy soldiers and civilians of all ages and genders being tortured and executed at their prison camps.

"Give me more footage! I can never get enough of this!" demanded Luthx. "Wait! What's happening to me?" Luthx dematerialized.
