Galactic Equilibrium Department
Captain Urgu gave an introductory presentation to enforcer cadets of the Galactic Equilibrium Department. He played a holographic slideshow …
"Here's a couple of case examples ..."
"On this planet, they developed time travel. We almost didn't catch it on time—pun intended."
The recruits laughed.
"Fortunately, our temporal scanners caught an imminent paradox. We sent a team in disguise to stop their tech. Our scouts cleverly used the same time machine to stop the birth of its inventor. We keep a close eye on them in case events unfold again."
"In this area, notice the mass of swirling debris—a former planet of inhabitants who developed space warp technology. They hoped to travel the cosmos, but they didn't realize that their experiment would fold all of our space and crush the galaxy. We used their own technology to fold their own planet. They're gone now. Too risky and dangerous for a second chance."
"We're also monitoring potentials ..."
Urgu switched to another set of holoslides.
"Not all threats come from technological advancements. Some species exhibit inherently parasitic or destructive traits. Of this solar system composed of eight planets, we're monitoring the third one, right here. The dominant intelligent species cause frequent mass extinctions. We don't expect the pattern to stop once they learn galactic travel. They're scheduled for annihilation once we detect signs of them leaving their solar system."
"This next civilization's intelligent culture seems highly dogmatic. An attribution that must be self-contained as we believe their warlike traits pose a risk to their neighbors."
"Alright, class, let's take a 15-minute break. For the next topic, I'll cover the calculations we make to determine whether an intelligent species will benefit or harm the galaxy."

Demon Saga: Phoenix Dancer
If you like my work, donations are greatly appreciated! The Phoenix Dancer follows the story of Corrin, a young girl from the Asla'ati demon hunters tribe, who serves a monstrous Phoenix-God. Corrin's adventures will lead her far from home as she seeks to restore a long lost magic that may be key to saving the realms from the tyrannical Immortal Beings who rule over them.
8 112Project Alpha: A Summary - 'Old Republic to Current Operational Era'
This is the beginning story of an ongoing epic written over a period of ten years. A labor of love for me. We start the story with the summary of what started it all: Project Alpha. A project conceived by the Supreme Chancellor to prevent another Hyperspace Conflict. The project; like all government run projects, spawned other 'side-initatives'. One of which results in the creation of our five main protagonist which are the main characters of the next series of stories. We start at the end of the Great Hyperspace Conflict. The prologue addressing what effect all of this has on the New Hope Era of the Star Wars saga.
8 201Cursebreaker
I'm not writing this anymore unfortunately, and I probably won't ever continue it. I guess writing is more difficult than I thought Reto Mason woke up on a mountain, and it was all downhill from there. Until they hit floor, at which point I'm surprised they didn't die to be honest. That is, they didn't die yet. We'll see what happens This is a LitRPG which does have levels and stats, but is more focused on Accomplishments, although expect some more classic RPG stuff in the future. The main focus is on skills, and skill modification/evolution in that regard. Expect some weird 4th dimension stuff eventually, and the weird things that come from there.

Horror Bites is a collection of macarbre short stories and flash fiction. From oil rigs to spaceships and from drunken regrets to troubling realisations about the nature of reality, the uniting theme of these stories is their dark nature.
8 77Deviant's Masquerade: The Huntsman's Quest (An Urban Magic Quest/RPG)
Jon Whitaker went to summer camp expecting a nice relaxing time as a newly minted counselor in training. He was not expecting to fight an army of monsters, work with a serial killer, enter a one-sided friendship with an eldritch horror, or study under a competing witch and dark lord. But regardless of what he was expecting, his summer is over and he's made his way back home where he can try and return to a normal -for him- life. Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.
