《Reborn In Naruto With My Girlfriend》20- How to Terrorize a Country

Mikasa Pov-
"As expected of Hikari-san, this is delicious," Pakura said with her mouth stuffed with food. That certainly isn't very ladylike. But I can't complain about it since the look Tatsuya is giving me right now isn't something one would give a lady. Well, my table manners have been bad ever since childhood, even if I was trained in them.
"Thank you, Pakura-san," Hikari said with a smile before turning toward me and Tatsuya.
'Is she expecting a compliment? How cute.' I thought.
"It's good," I said while Tatsuya nodded with a smile on his face. I swear I could see Hikari's tail wagging at a high speed, even tho she doesn't have one.
"After we are done, let's start the second last phase of our plan tomorrow," Tatsuya said.
"What's that? Are we going to kill more shinobi from both villages?" Pakura asked before stuffing her face with food again.
"Of course not. That part is already done. Did you forget what our last goal is?" I said with a smile.
"Wasn't it to enter the country of Roran through my fame?" Pakura asked, confused.
"And how are you supposed to do that with just fame? Except for the Kazekage, no one's allowed to get in contact with the royal family of Roran without any emergency." Tatsuya said before he sighed.
"Eh?" Pakura almost choked when she realised that we have already told her this.
"So how are we gonna create an emergency?" Pakura asked. 'She totally forgot our plan?' I thought.
"By terrorizing Roran, how else?" Tatsuya said as a matter of fact.
This time, both Pakura and Hikari choked on their food. Well, there's no easy way so what else can we do? We're just taking the most effective and efficient way.
"Terrorize what?" Hikari asked after gulping down a whole glass of water.
"Roran," I said with a smile.
"You guys are getting worst with every passing day," Pakura said while shaking her head.
Apparently, Tatsuya's 'guidance' was more effective than we thought. All we needed to do was tell Pakura that there was a chance that Roran will be destroyed when we are done with it. She naturally disagreed with something like that, but when we told her that we might end up dead if we tried to protect Roran, she agreed. She knew that we won't give up on something we'd already decided on, so she didn't even consider persuading us.
"Well, you agreed with the plan so aren't you the same?" Hikari asked with a smile.
"It's just that I value them more than I value an unknown country," Pakura said with a slight blush, making the three of us laugh.
"So how are we gonna do it?" Hikari asked while looking at Tatsuya.
"Who knows. We'll decide after we get there." Tatsuya said.
'True, all we have to do is terrorize a country, we both are professional terrorists, so believe in us.' I thought.
"We just need to make sure that they won't ask the Sand village for help until you are the hero of the Sand," I said. It'll be troublesome if Roran asked for the Sand's help even before the war ended.
"We plan on ending the war within two months so it isn't a problem. It'd be enough for you." Tatsuya said while looking at Pakura.
"Hikari, do you want to join us on our trip to Roran?" I asked.
"No, Mistress. I can take care of the house and decorate it properly until you all are back." Hikari said.
"Decorate the house? Isn't this much enough?" I asked, Tatsuya's expression was that he also agreed with me.
Both Pakura and Hikari looked at us with weird expressions. 'What's wrong with them?' I thought.
"Mikasa, do you know what 'decorate' means?" Pakura asked with a forced smile.
"Huh? Like having furniture and stuff?" I said while Pakura snapped.
"Where's the furniture in this house? Before we arrived, all you two had was a double bed in a mansion big enough for 10 people to live in comfortably. Even a minimalist can't survive in this kind of house. Even this dinner table and our beds were brought by Hikari. Were you planning on making us sleep on the floor or something?" That was my first time seeing Pakura snap. It was kind of funny being scolded by a 10-year-old kid on something like this.
But she wasn't wrong, all we had in this house was a bed. The Hokage gave us furniture along with the house but seeing that it wasn't of any use, I teleported everything inside the Sarutobi Clan's compound. The only thing we had in our whole house was a double bed for us to sleep on. Our food supplies were always fresh inside our inventory so we don't need something to keep them in, the same goes with our clothes and other stuff.
"You can do as you please," Tatsuya said, he knew that arguing against Pakura about something like this is pointless. He summoned a bag full of money before tossing it over to Hikari.
"This much should be enough, right?" Tatsuya asked Hikari, money wasn't a problem for us. It's been stockpiling in our inventory ever since we became shinobi.
"It's more than enough, Master," Hikari said with a smile as she started mumbling about what she'll buy and where she'll place it. We didn't say much after that.
After the dinner was over, we all went to our rooms. I was on Tatsuya's lap as he patted my head. 'Man, I like this a lot.' I thought while smiling.
"Do you want to sneak into the Source of the Ryūmyaku tomorrow?" I asked Tatsuya.
"Not really. I doubt they'll open it up just because of a little terrorist attack and I want to see the power they can use without opening the seal." He said as I leaned back on his chest. His chin resting above my head.
"Can't we just break the seal?" I asked, ever since our plan started, Tatsuya never talked about breaking the seal. Even if it's the first thing we'll normally consider.
"It's probably a power-related seal. We'll need more chakra than the Ryūmyaku has in it to break it. Even if we can crack it, without enough power, it'll be useless. I thought about donating a tailed beast for this but I don't think it'll be enough." Tatsuya said.
'True, since Ryūmyaku was said to have infinite chakra, I doubt that any tailed beast can match it.' I thought.
"Can't we create our tailed beast from this?" I asked.
"No, there's no point in creating something like that. Our 'Strength of a Hundred Seal' should have enough chakra to rival Shukaku. Of course, if you want a pet then we can." Tatsuya said. I smiled after hearing that.
Yeah, our Creation Rebirth is way more powerful than Tsunade's. It'll take her at least 30 seconds to one minute if she wants to regrow a lost limb while we can do it in one or two seconds. That's purely the difference in the quantity of chakra stored in our seals.

I have a plan to create a Medical Jutsu better than Creation Rebirth, but it isn't very high on my 'what to do list'.
I snuggled in Tatsuya's lap a bit before I fell asleep.

"Well, be sure to change your appearance when you go shopping," Tatsuya said to Hikari.
"Yes, Master." She replied.
"Are you sure you want to come with us? The things we're going to do aren't pretty. You might even hate us." Tatsuya asked while looking at Pakura. We've already told her what we were about to do but she still insisted on following us.
"Since I said I'll follow you, I won't go back on my words. As long as you don't chase me away that is. As for hating you, I doubt it's even possible." Pakura said with a slight smile. 'She's maturing at a terrifying rate.' I thought.
"Just don't regret it," Tatsuya said as he sighed. The three of us teleported.
We reappeared in a back alley inside Roran. We placed our Flying Thunder God mark here in advance. We walked out of the alley and what greeted us was a little surprising.
"Woah," Pakura exclaimed while looking at the tall buildings that can't be seen anywhere except Roran. But what surprised us wasn't the scenery here, it was all familiar to us since our clones did come here a lot. What surprised us was the gathering of people in front of a castle. That was the Royal Family's castle.
"It looks like Sēramu is about to give a speech or something," I said as I looked at the crowd.
"Who?" Pakura asked, snapping out of her daze.
"It's the current queen of Roran, her name is Sēramu," I explained to Pakura. My patience with Pakura wasn't that bad. Unless she does something I told her not to.
"Isn't that a perfect opportunity for us?" Tatsuya said with a smile.
"Pakura, you'll watch from afar," I said while looking at Pakura.
"No. I am coming with-" She was about to complain but stopped mid-sentence when I glared at her.
"Fine." She said as I nodded in appreciation.
We both equipped our Assassin's Cloak and Tatsuya gave me a mask that he bought from the system. It was a normal mask, unlike the one which hides our identity for a set amount of time. Someone with Byakugan can see through this one with ease. We also bought a voice changing pill, since a child's voice talking about justice and revenge would be kinda awkward. Even if we look like children, having cool voices is acceptable.
Pakura was already used to stuff appearing in our hands out of nowhere so she wasn't surprised. I promised to teach her something similar after she's old enough. Of course, I can't teach her because it's a system function, but I can create something similar.
We both used Body Flicker to appear on the tallest building that was directly opposite to the one Sēramu was standing on while giving a speech.
"The strongest one here is a Jonin. Sure enough, with something like Ryūmyaku, there's no way a country will waste resources on training shinobis." Tatsuya said as he scanned the area with his natural perception.
"It's better for us," I said. There were around ten thousand people gathered here. It'll be fun.
"We'll use paper bombs created by your clones. It'll help evolve your Sharingan." Tatsuya said as I nodded. My Sharingan required me to kill a lot of people to evolve, unlike the normal family killing drama. I doubt that it won't evolve even if I killed my family.
I took out five explosive tags from my inventory, before placing them in four corners of the crowd and one in the centre. It won't be a problem for a country with a population of a million to lose some one or two thousand people right?
I placed my hand on Tatsuya's shoulder while activating my 'Fly' Jutsu on him before retreating my hand. It'll be weird if some terrorists appear while holding hands.
"Our goal is to speak nonsense. Xianxia level nonsense. So leave it to me." Tatsuya said, he was definitely looking forward to it.
We started floating towards the centre of the crowd. We were above the place where the Queen, Sēramu, was standing.
She stopped her speech as she noticed us floating above their heads. She was vigilant of us, in this era, the only one who could fly was Onoki, excluding those from the Land of the Sky, but they weren't public knowledge yet.
"Who are you?" Sēramu asked while looking at us. There was a guy next to her, enhancing her voice so that it'll be audible for everyone to hear. Everyone in the crowd also looked above and started murmuring about who we are. Just in case someone misunderstands, I am wearing pants right now, not a skirt. Or Tatsuya would've destroyed Roran before our plan even began.
"We are here to take what your family has stolen from us, you thieves," Tatsuya said, he was mimicking the voice of Bruford from Jojo. He used enough chakra so that his voice echoed in the crowd. 'Damn, that sounds so cool.' I thought.
{A/N- The voice that's going around on instagram as Kokushibo's. The same voice actor as Nanami from JJK.}
"The Royal family would never do something like stealing something that belongs to someone else." Sēramu said with a frown.
"You are shameless enough to claim something like that, as expected from the heir to the family of thieves," Tatsuya said with a mocking tone full of disdain.
"Do you know where you are? You are disrespecting the rulers of this country." Sēramu said with some anger. 'She's still keeping her cool huh?' I thought.
"Rulers of this country? What kind of country can be formed under a bunch of thieves?" Tatsuya said before he started laughing. The murmuring in the crowd increased. Some were shouting with anger.
"What did we ever steal from you? Do you have any proof?" Sēramu said.
"The thing you call Ryūmyaku belongs to us. Your ancestors were the ones who stole it from us. You even dared to put a seal on it, tell me, how should I destroy this little country of yours to soothe my anger?" Tatsuya said as he released some of his bloodlust. Bloodlust depends on how many people you've killed, his bloodlust was definitely one of the best.
It was only about 20% for him, but for the people of this country? Everyone who wasn't a ninja was already on their knees. Tatsuya made sure that no one passed out, what would be the point of talking nonsense if there wasn't a crowd to hear it? Surprisingly, Sēramu wasn't affected by his bloodlust, Ryūmyaku was probably protecting her.
I activated my Sharingan to see if there was something but there was no abnormality around her. 'So normal Sharingan is useless in this kind of situation?'. I thought before activating my natural perception.
I noticed that there was a faint purple chakra around Sēramu, it was very well hidden. Even with natural perception, it was hard to see. That is unless Sēramu uses it consciously.
'So it even protects those who know Ryūmyaku Chakra Control. Interesting.' I thought.
"Ryūmyaku belongs to the Royal Family of Roran. Don't lie." Sēramu panicked a little. This was happening in front of a crowd, it'll be a problem if this kind of news spread.
"So you're shameless enough to claim it as yours? As expected, you're the same as your ancestors. The Ryūmyaku belongs to us." 'Because we decided it not long ago.' Tatsuya said as I completed the sentence in my head.
"It's the power left behind by my family to protect the people of Roran." Sēramu was now losing her cool.
"A power to protect Roran? Then tell me why are you only protecting yourself while your people are on their knees below us?" Tatsuya asked in a mocking voice. It wasn't a bad experience of having thousands of people kneel before you.
Sēramu finally noticed that only she was standing straight, even the Jonins were having some trouble standing straight. The only reason even shinobi were like this was that this country is too peaceful.
"Tell me, why are you not protecting them?" Tatsuya asked again before he stopped his bloodlust. After a minute, people started getting up with great struggle. They were dissatisfied that their Queen only protected herself.
"What are you after?" Sēramu shouted as she noticed that our goal was the dissatisfaction of the crowd.
"I told you that we are here to take what belongs to us," Tatsuya said as he raised his hand. 'I guess it's my turn' I thought as Tatsuya snapped his finger. The snap was loud enough for the crowd to hear.
BOOM*
In the centre of the crowd, an explosive tag exploded. It was like a rain of blood. It took the crowd some time to register before they started running around while shouting. Sēramu's face was as pale as paper. The number of people who died wasn't that much. If it was our best explosive tags, it would have killed all of them without much trouble.
The current number of deaths was around 1200. We let the people panic for a minute before we started our show again.
"Move and you die," Tatsuya said before he started releasing his bloodlust again. Everyone was quiet now, not even Sēramu dared to move. It was probably her first time that something like this happened.
"So, will you give us what is rightfully ours?" Tatsuya said, already knowing that Sēramu will refuse.
"Never." Sēramu shouted as she activated her Ryūmyaku Chakra Control and shot a ball made of pure purple chakra towards us. I took a scroll from the inventory before sealing the ball in it. The ball had enough chakra that can kill a Jonin without any trouble. She was able to use such power without even opening the seal on Ryūmyaku.
"Since you dare use the power of Ryūmyaku in front of me, you'll have to pay," Tatsuya said as Sēramu's face was full of horror before she condensed a chakra ball that had enough chakra to match the destructive power of Rasenshuriken. We frowned, she can use such power without even opening the seal on Ryūmyaku? This was different from what we know.
'Let's do that' I thought before extending my hand towards the ball of chakra, Tatsuya didn't say anything because he trusted me. Sēramu smirked looking at my action, just as the ball touched my hand.
BOOM*
An explosion even bigger than the previous one happened in the centre of the crowd. I teleported the ball to the place where my previous explosive tag was, I also added some of my chakra to it so that it'll help me with the evolution of my Sharingan. This time, more than fifteen hundred people died.
Under Tatsuya's bloodlust, people weren't able to move. If someone looked at the scene, they'll feel like a calamity was about to happen. People were on their knees, crying and shouting, begging for mercy. Corpses lay here and there, every corpse was in pieces. Some burned while the others were destroyed.
"You killed your people with the power you stole? As expected of the Royal Family of Roran." Tatsuya said while laughing. Sēramu was about to cry from all this.
"This should be enough. I know you're enjoying it but if we do something more than this, they'll call help from the Sand. This much should be manageable by the Royal family." I said. My voice wasn't enhanced by chakra but was clear enough for Tatsuya to hear between the cries for mercy.
"Okay." He said before turning towards the pale Sēramu.
"You have six months to decide what you wish for. Be honest and return what your ancestors stole or watch as your country is destroyed." Tatsuya said with hatred as he increased his bloodlust. Everyone was having a hard time breathing from the intense bloodlust.
We looked at each other before we teleported. Although the show looked like it was a lot, it wasn't. It was more like a warning, anyone who is adept at ruling people will understand this. Be it Sēramu or any Kage from a Shinobi Village.
And so, the second last phase of our plan was complete. The chakra we got from Ryūmyaku so it was all good.

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx. Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
