《Apostle of the Goddess》Apostle

I awoke to the feeling of someone watching me, and it was right on point.
Sepyre, or Goddess Sepyre, was sitting on the bed, half-turned towards me.
"I do appreciate waking up with a beautiful girl at the side, but..."
"I only came to inform you that we will be arriving shortly" She slightly pouted while standing up and turning her back towards me.
"Understood. In terms of my own days, how much do I have remaining?"
"Three"
"Only three days? I thought I would have more time to prepare"
"I do appreciate you taking it seriously, but I can not continue to fasten the time inside my space anymore. To say the truth, I have already reached my limits. Still, I promised you to do it for the longest amount of time possible... so a bit of gratitude would be on point" She continued pouting.
I actually could understand her, but I did want to be prepared. After all, I would be thrown into a world about which I did not know anything. Granted, I knew that it would be like my so-long dream fantasy world adventure, but... With a mission like the one I was tasked with, I had to have at least some kind of advantage!
Having this thought, I immediately conveyed it to MY goddess...
But in place of a commendation or at least some kind of approval, I was rebuked by the words
"That is your problem. We have agreed to what you will do and the amount of help I could provide. Other than that, everything is up to you"
"Hah! The less time I spend doing preparatory work, the quicker you get at least some believers!" I instantly rebuked in response.
"Indeed, but helping you is beginning to become a strain on my, already low, reserves of power. Why you did even add so many requirements before entering a world!?" She angrily questioned me.
Again, I could understand her. During our talk on my 32 'day' in this 'suite', I indeed requested a few things. In short, almost everything that an isekai mc had. Still, how the hell she wanted me to work on getting a faith established with her like the goddess without any advantages over the normal inhabitants? By preaching on the corners? Or by dying in the first scuffle?
I immediately conveyed these thoughts to her as well. Adding that
"Remember that I was a normal, even common, person from a 21st century Earth before meeting you. How did you expect me to really do something so impactful as founding a new religion?"
"I did provide material for training"
"And what? I mean, I learned how to at least not kill myself while holding a weapon... but that would not really help me. Just imagine me, close to no skill, fighting a warrior!"
"..."
"You can not imagine a good end for me, right? So what's so strange about me asking for a status screen to monitor my current strength and view the opponent's one? Or about asking for more time and instructions?"
"..."
"Right, there is nothing wrong with it. Plus, did you not say that I was limited to my own effort and life? That if I die, I die forever with no possible resurrection like in the stories?"
"I did"
"So what's so bad as to get a few trump-cards from the one sending me to a suicidal mission? Especially as I will be forced to start without any real advantages except what I learned or gained here?"
"..."
Such a talk continued for a good time, but in the end, neither I could back from the agreement nor she could rebuke anything of what I said. Indeed, during our talk, I learned that I was her only candidate for an apostle, a person who is tasked with getting new believers for her as a goddess... So why I can not get some benefits and life-saving things? Especially as I was meant to accomplish such a task by myself!
Our negotiation about the matter was so engraved into my mind that I practically dreamed of it every night. During university and the rest of my life, I had few real talents... But I could always understand when someone needed something from me, and use that to my advantage. Unsurprisingly, I relied on that talent while negotiating.
The forgotten Goddess Sepyre needed an apostle to somehow make people acknowledge and pray to her, good! And I have always dreamed of being isekai'ed to a fantasy world, right!
And so, we reached an accord. I would get my dream granted, while the payment would be to make people around me know of and start believing in Sepyre.
So now, it was a fact that I had to make everyone around me believe in a goddess. Ignoring the funny fact that I was not a good candidate for missionary. Even more, I was like the worst one for that role. But thankfully there were no restrictions or taboos about how I had to do it. The only thing that mattered was the result, and so in the end (basically after getting all my fantasy wishes granted or at least promised) I accepted.
"Well, in any case, thanks for informing me about the deadline. I will try to cram what I can during this remaining time"
"Mmm"
"Speaking of which, please add a few energetics to your next summoned replenishments"
"Energetics? Are you planning to...?"
"Yes, I will avoid sleeping for most of the time"
"Okay"
"Good, as for props... I still have not learned anything about poisons and dark magic, could you...?"
"I do not have much knowledge about neither theme, but I will try to convey what I do know"
"Perfect! Now, I wish you a good time moving your space" After a heated one-sided discussion and pushing along my requests, I had nothing else than send the goddess away.
Unrespectful? Indeed. Still, it was part of my conditions. I would become her apostle, but I would not believe in her truly. Even more, I would have no need to really behave myself before her. As for why? The main reason was that I simply did not want to do so... Hmm, there was another reason, which was that I was a possible forgotten god descendant. Or at least that was what she said.
Plus it was a way to repay her for the fact that she basically kidnapped me because of her lack of time and power to explain anything when we met.
This entry is the last one before I actually am sent into the world where I am supposed to find or create believers for, now my, goddess Sepyre. During the last three days, as before, I continued to ignore my daily journal, preferring to continue cramming whatever I could into my mind.

Granted, I could not really improve my, speaking in-game terminology, basic stats... but the knowledge was a powerful weapon, and it would be dumb to discard it.
This entry is also mainly a recap, for the future, of what I have learned, gained, and trained in since the 32nd 'day'. Also, to do not forget, 'today' is actually my 192nd day inside this 'suite'. Albeit now that I know it is an odd space created for me inside what the goddess refers to as her own space (or basically her small, portable heaven), I should refer to it correctly. Also, to use the correct timetable, it's only the 4th (Earth) day since I was kidnapped. Still, because of the absolute control, a god has over his own space in the void (terms used by Sepyre herself), the time flows differently and so every single day here equals only an hour on earth. What's more, she had hastened the time inside this 'suite' making every hour is equal to several (No wonder I felt like I was awake for far more than a few hours!).
So in short, I have been here for a few years while only 192 days passed for Sepyre, and 4 days passed for the people on earth. I wonder, has an investigation on my disappearance began? If I am not mistaken it was something like 24 hours for a person to be declared missing after all.
Well, back on the main point of today's entry.
Over this enormous amount of time, I have indeed obtained a lot.
During the first 'month', I mainly played around (seriously) with what I found every 'morning' and inside the newly added gym, melee, and ranged rooms. Still, I managed to familiarize myself with a few speaking, manners, survival, and weapon usage skills. Granted, they were in the best case on a beginner level, but it was still something.
After the talk (that took almost the entire Suite day!) with Sepyre, I began to apply myself earnestly. I requested dozens if not hundreds of books containing information (surprisingly all of it coming from Sepyre's own knowledge) about anything I could encounter in the world where I would be sent. Regretfully, a god could not even see into a world where no believers were present, so I did only obtain general knowledge about the races, beasts, demons, and other beings I may meet.
I did not forget to continue 'training' with the weapons provided, albeit only time will say what does my current skill level amounts to.
But overall, I have learned a bit about everything I may see or encounter. Be it beasts, herbs, treasures, magic, weapons, crafts, etc.
I also made heavy progress in understanding several strange languages and scripts. Seemingly there was no easy way (a spell? goddess power?) to make me understand everyone, still, I had no trouble grasping at least basic communication skills for all the possible languages or dialects. As for the main two, the human and the common tongue, I could be said to be a natural now.
Writing down all this made me appear as a genius, and I would love to say I am one after learning so much in only a few years (in a comparable time in the university, I learned far less to be considered one after all!). I would like to, but... becoming her apostle gave me a really grand increase in my mental, be it memory or comprehension, capacity. So basically, I had a pretty usual speed of learning, simply enhanced by a god (goddess*).
What more to add...
Oh, I should not forget to mention the changes to my appearance, health, and... name.
Because my task had to be completed IN my normal lifetime (so no eternal life for now), the almost four years I spent in this place under the goddess control did not age me (it seems that Sepyre is not above cheating when she can do so).
So why simply not make me immortal? The answer was that she could only control what happened inside her own space.
In any case, after I accepted being her apostle, and was branded as such, my body was... reconstructed?
Now I was impervious to any illness, epidemics, poisons, and ever vices (so smoking is now 'healthy', or at least not bad for my health).
On earth, I was a decent-looking, 191 cm, 26 years old, black-haired, black-eyed, caucasian man.
Right now, on my last 'day' here, I still remain mainly the same. The only two changes being that I am no longer black-haired or black-eyed. My hair has turned snow-white (a side effect from the changes to my body), while my eyes remained black while I was calm, switching colors between blood red and golden depending on the situation (All gods branded their apostles, and such was the way of doing so of mine).
The last, but not least change of all was my name. It may sound obvious, but appearing as Ioann Voors on a fantasy world would be a bit... strange? Not to mention that last names were the privilege of the nobility (at least from the court manners books I got).
And so while taking the pledge as an apostle to the Goddess Sepyre, I 'renamed' myself. After a long thought (20 seconds or less), I for some reason decided to go with my gamer handle. So from that moment, I was named Lindar.
While writing all of this down, I also decided to pen down my current stats, abilities, and magic for future comparison. And after I do that, I will go to sleep (for the last time in this 'suite' of mine).
The next entry, I will be writing in the 'fantasy' world of Lieade!
"AFTER"
NOTE: I had no time to write into my journal for a long 'time'. And now that I have decided to pen down what had happened, I could not find it. So I was forced to use start a new one.
I should later ask Sepyre to find it for me later (!).
NOTE 2: I have decided to write in prose as if I am the hero of a story. If my future self asks why... I simply feel that it's the correct way to represent my new self.
NOTE 3: I do like my new appearance.
NOTE 4: Using my ign may have been a bit strange, but on the other hand, I have always wished to become a game character, did not I?

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
