《Gerald the Dungeon Companion》Glossary No.1

Delmathar: The world of which the story is set in. Magical with a tendency to have rifts opening every once in a while that would initiate a war between the two realms. This has sparked the use of the word “Realms” to be the equivalent of this world’s hell.
As of yet we have been told that there are three major factions; a large Union state, the Tri-Divine theocratic faction and the Phoenix alliance.
This world has reincarnators called grafters or grafted, with evidence (pencil upgrading, pennies and doughnut) suggesting towards them being concentrated in the Pheonix alliance.
Charingswin is a month that spring begins in.
The months – Swin, Charingswin (spring), Paekdusk, Sumsteel(summer), Yestersilver, Felkor, Rarndawn(Autumn), Hastendink, Realka, Tholinka (winter), 32 days per month
Delmar is the equivalent of using the term earth and undelmar is unearth.

Gerald: A weird grumpy fairy whose origins we do not know of. What we do know is that he has lived a very long life and is classed as a Bush hermit. He has some form of bond with the bushes that he reincarnates using the fruits every time he dies.
He is a nudist with a peccant for alchohol.
He has the habit of using the word “Ta” instead of the, this and these.
As of yet seems to be acquainted with Isaldra, the Dancer and a Druid.
Silky: A young baby dungeon that is the charge of Gerald. She has the tendency to speak of herself in the third person. Has been seen to be slightly mischievous yet innocent at the same time.
Isaldra: a fully established dungeon that is deemed to be the queen of all dungeons with a female avatar. Wife to the Dancer and co-leader of the Phoenix alliance. Has control over Swallow agents.

The Dancer: husband of Isaldra with his race and classes unknown.
Fantimal: One of the three Divines. Race unknown.
The Throne: One of the three Divines. Race unknown.
Swallows: An elite cadre of agents of the Pheonix alliance.
Lorenzo: a Swallow agent that is briefly met by Gerald. Race unknown but possibly an assassin classer.
Beasts and Monsters: Beasts are juiced up creatures that generally have the ability to use magic and blessed by the nature goddess. Monsters are just monsters, no blessings, no bullshit and no need for explanations. There can be elites of either monsters or beasts and if they reach a high enough level and have enough nutrients, either can evolve to a higher evolution.
Glitterwort: a plant monster that uses large glittering vacuum-sacs to mesmerize and attract voidflys that it preys upon. Endemic to magical cave systems. Not a threat to anything except flys.
Voidflys: a type of fly that absorbs mana in the air to provide a small little burst of magic-nullification when threatened. Not a threat unless you are a rotting fruit.
Toadshrool: a large fungal monster that boasts immense strength with a vaguely humanoid shape. As mentioned by Gerald they are generally ten foot tall. They come in many forms of mushroom bases and generally live together in a peaceful colony. Normally not aggressive unless provoked. A fully mature specimen that is not an elite can prove dangerous even to solo gold class adventurers.
Lorry is a low-level Toadshrool.
Manashrooms: a type fungus that grows in mana rich, damp, nutritious and dark environs. Not dangerous unless consumed due to some variants proving to be poisonous. Can evolved into some basic tin-tanked fungiform monsters or beasts given enough time. Not a threat unless you are decomposing plant matter.
Owlmite: a small weak tin-ranked beast that is akin to a round flightless owl. Has large eyes, small four digit paws for hands and feet. Lives in small family units. Communicates using blinks and hoots. Able to shoot dirt bullets which they use to defend themselves and hunt for prey. Omnivorous but will never eat another of their own kind. Said to display highly emphatic tendencies to their own kind. Can fight off a small child if they can score a few lucky shots.

Jeff: a denizen of silky’s dungeon. She is some form of colonial insectoid creature with slightly paralytic blood, two forward facing manipulating arms with three-digit hands and four clawed legs. Resemblant to a large ant without the large mandibles therefor suggesting that whatever she is, is likely to be a herbivore. Jeff would not be able to fight off a normally sized puppy.
Flenemon: A small tin-ranked black bulbous monster that lives a stationary life attached to the underside of large tree-branches or cave walls by means of a large suction pad-foot where it unfurls its dark frilly arms to catch passing prey such as little insects, the occasional bird or bats. Its tentacles have a in-built levitation spell that helps keep it buoyant. Has a large toothless mouth on the top of its head that is ringed by its tentacles which also serves as its anus. The number of arms and eyes a Flenemon has is indicative of its level and maturity. Not a threat unless you happen to be a small creature that is caught in its tentacles.

The Complete Alchemyst book 2
Continuation of the Alchemyst book 1 Sometimes to be the good guy, you gotta be the bad guy. This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.

The Five Series - redemption
Book 1 - Redemption Three generations have passed since the last near-apocalyptic war. Civilization is beginning to thrive again at an ever increasing pace. The burden of society has been once again placed on the back of a massive robotic workforce, creating a huge divide between industrial glory, and those forced to live in its shadow. Many have stubbornly held onto the old ways of self-governance from back when the government fell, but with its return, life in Welan City is changing. Aaron, a middle-aged man, who is stuck in the rut of daily life, witnesses a murder and finds himself in trouble, love, and the middle of a highly secretive robotics project. Aaron stakes his life on helping a prototype survive, and pays for it dearly. Passionate hate, love, and indifference send life in Welan City spiraling out of control, leaving no one innocent in the end. The Five Series is, well, a series. I've completed 3 of the books so far and will finish with a fourth, maybe fifth book. Book 1 is heavy on the character development side while the following will be much more decision and consequence oriented. This story reaches into the soul of a person and the universe we live in. Some people deserve a second chance, and some do not. With that im mind, no one really ever gets what they deserve though, do they? Always tell the people you care about that you love them as often as you can, they could be gone tomorrow. Would that change if you could always bring them back? I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it. Cody

Fortress Seven
Two thousand years ago, a nameless hero sacrificed himself to save the world. With his sacrifice came a world filled with Orbs – powerful naturally occurring sources of magic. His seven companions, the seven fortresses, returned to this changed world, splitting it into seven kingdoms and changing it forever. Exactly two millennia after the incident, the world remains heavily unchanged – and a mysterious boy is found in the deepest depths of the Wildlands. Quickly learning the rules of the world and more about himself – will the real truth be revealed, or will the peace of the land continue for another two thousand years in stagnation? Inspired by Japanese light novels such as Overlord, Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu, and Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, Fortress Seven is both a mixture of a Fantasy Adventure and Underdog novel that not only brings about the development of its characters but the development of an entire nation.

Dungeoneers
In an alternate world, instead of the pandemic, a different worldwide problem occurred. The outbreak of the first dungeons. Strange monsters appeared out of the sudden, mysterious portals. While modern human weapons were capable of dealing with the initial outbreak, only special individuals, later known as Dungeoneers could deal with them through the use of special skills and abilities. This is a series of stories revolving around some of the first Dungeoneers and what they would later go on to do as the world continues to be afflicted by increasingly more dangerous dungeons.
