《Potestera- Race for Power》Ch 65 Concocting and Experimenting

I sorted out the various plants and certain beast parts I had harvested, as well as some Snake Venom, normal Beast Blood, and some little bit of the leftover Magical Beast Blood, with some other miscellaneous ingredients, to start preparing experimentation of substances I felt would be of value.
First I got the vast amounts of normal Beast Blood I had and made it into five large clay pots.
I separately mixed a powder substance of Charcoal, Clay, and Bright Powder, as well as Blue Mana Blossom and threw it into the blood containers.
Then I added the leftover blood of the Moss Lizard, Rocky Mustid, North Breeze Song Bird, Nether Crow, and Giant Magical Worm into one of the pots respectively.
A reaction did occur, and a lot of the normal animal blood did boil and sizzle away, but in the end there was still a lot of blood left in each clay container.
I self checked it with the tip of my finger, and to my pleasure and pain, the blood caused magical damage on the tip of my finger, the sign of a corrosive and dangerous magical substance.
The damage wasn’t as strong as what pure magic blood, straight from a magical animal, would cause, but it was still magical blood nonetheless.
My experiment had turned out to be a success.
I now had more magical bloods either to craft more weapons, do more experiments with, or just hold on as a valuable resource.
Next I ground up some Mana Blossoms together with some Clerical Root, and afterwards poured the ground up magical looking powder into Water mixed with Charcoal and Clay.
Cautiously I poured a few droplets of the mixture on my finger tip, and to my surprise the wound in my finger immediately started healing.
This one I had not expected to work.
I fully admitted I mostly pulled this one out from my ass, as I only tried this mixture on the premise that the Clerical Root had known healing properties.
I was somewhat dumbfounded; In my mind it couldn’t be that easy to create magical substances with helpful and immediate effects, those were the legendary Magical Potions and Elixirs.
Up until now I had used charcoal and clay as the base for most of my mixtures, with the knowledge from the Toltemic that in a way these two substances tamed and harmonized with Mana's volatile properties, but this was quite ridiculous.

The legendary healing potions of Alchemists, Wizards, and Mages were things people seethed at the mouth over.
They were pretty much exclusively Ranker type items, and everyone knew they were worth a fortune.
It was rumored to be akin to holding on to a second chance at life; that's how powerful these Potions were.
This dark blue liquid I held in my hand, suddenly became the subject of meditation and fantasies to me, for quite a while.
I wasn’t brave enough to continue testing the liquid, in hopes of finding out whether it had any hidden dangerous side effects, or figure out the limits of its healing abilities; and although I did have some testing rats I caught on the street, I didn't have enough.
In the end the consumption of magical substances was no laughing matter, for the most part it was rare when a magical consumable was safe for a non magic wielding person or organism to consume.
After some time I decided against making more of the liquid, and testing it on myself, until I knew what its effects truly were.
I labeled the container in which it was in “ Blossom Clerical Vile”, as I figured it was safer for external use rather than internal use.
After settling my thought process I continued to mess around with more mixtures, a process that had turned out to be more profitable than I had predicted.
I next combined the Artificial Magical Blood with the Moss Lizard Blood base, and Venom from a snake called, Foul Grass Snake, which contained poison that paralyzed the body.
I had a bad feeling, so I did the mixture inside the safety of a glass container that I could seal at any moment and from a distance.
I also inserted a live Thieving Rat I had caught in the streets inside the container.
As soon as I mixed the artificial blood of the Moss l Lizard with the Venom, a dangerous looking gas cloud started to fill the container, almost immediately I sealed it up.
After some time the cloud condensed and settled down into the bottom of the glass container.
In the bottom of the container was the dead looking Rat, not moving even an inch, and oddly looking completely green as opposed to its original grey.

What that meant? I had no idea, and I really didn't have the knowledge to find out.
All I could tell was that it was a deadly concoction.
I decided to make two clay pellet containers that held two compartments, one side holding the Artificial Magic Blood, and another holding the Venom.
I would personally use this weapon if needed, but I didn't know if I could sell this kind of weapon in Martial Citadel.
After scraping the bottom of the glass container, and cleaning all toxic residue left behind, I put the condensed poison into a small glass bottle, and thereafter disposed of the Rat, I decided to move on to my next experiment.
The Venom experiment put me on alert, on my idea to put the hollow bone spears full of Venom into the blood bath, anticipating it would probably create dangerous poison fumes, and I wasn't too keen on having fumes around Yupows House.
I decided to leave that weapon group for last, to be blood bathed.
After some more experimentation other than the Artificial Magic Blood, and “Magical Clerical Vile”, I managed to come up with a safer healing product that didn’t use Magic like the Former.
I made it after the instructions given to me by the Guider, which provided many uses for the clerical root, except I modified it by adding Bright Plant to excellent results.
I called the Product “Bright Healing Powder”.
I also grounded up a mixture with the Body Forging Plant, that also contained the Bright Plant, that definitely required more testing, but that definitely gave me more energy and stamina when I consumed it.
I called the powder “Bright Body Powder”.
I considered mixing that powder with Blue Mana Blossom, and a base, but I decided against it, knowing I would probably get a similar and complicated result as to the Clerical Plant/ Mana Blossom combination.
The final successful experiment I produced was combining the bone powder of several beasts, as well as Bright Plant, Charcoal, Clay, and Blue Mana Blossom.
The result was a purple powder that glowed bright and had magical properties.
I sprinkled some of the powder onto some paper and suddenly the powder disappeared and the paper turned a light purple color.
After sprinkling the powder on another live Rat, the Rat reacted violently to it, and seemed to be in pain, but eventually it calmed down, and suddenly its hair gained a few purple streaks across it.
The powder definitely had a magical imbuing effect similar to the blood but it only seemed to work on certain materials and subjects.
When I threw it over a normal metal knife there was no reaction, the same could be said with stone, clay, glass, and other crystals.
It only seemed to react with organic material.
I grabbed the paper that turned purple and ripped it in half, immediately a weird purple streak hit me in the face and disappeared.
Suddenly I felt a stinging sensation hit me in the face making my eyes, nose , mouth and ears burn but it only lasted for a while.
Eventually the pain passed and suddenly I felt like the world had turned more purple and blue.
I also noticed that my senses had improved by a lot, finding out that I could hear many of the conversations happening outside the street in a 5 mile radius, as well as seeing better, and being overwhelmed with various smells.
Eventually the effects wore off, but the experience I went through by ripping the paper still left me astounded.
By chance I had discovered that the powder augmented senses and gave you Magic Energy Sensing abilities.
It was truly a powerful and amazing material.
And from what I could tell other than the initial pain it really didn’t have any side effects.
I made a bit more of the powder and imbued many papers with it.
There was no way anyone could resist this buff.
Even if it was temporary.
During this process of experimentation I had struck gold one too many times, a healing potion, a buffing Item, and a new method to increase my magical blood resources were not things I was expecting.
All I could do was record my findings and try to gain more knowledge for future rounds of experimenting in the future.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?
The wheel spun and the genre changed. In every chapter, a new canvas made up of a thousand words was formed. I, the creator, do not know the future of this novel. I, the author, is but a mere slave that writes and creates what the wheel has given. What would happen after? What fate awaits the main character? When would you encounter the next chapter? Besides the latter, only the wheel could answer. Author's Note:Salutations dear reader. I'd like to dissuade you from reading this novel due to the following facts: 1. I am an amateur/new/beginner writer so it could be said that I don't know what I'm doing. 2. This novel is something which I wrote in order to hone my skills in adaptability, creativity, and writing in of itself. 3. Every chapter was made after spinning a wheel with the genres: Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy (as of writing) twice. The genres then would be showed in the chapter through theme, part of the story, flow, character, or whatever man idk. In case the wheel would show the same genre twice, the chapter itself would have the result as the main theme of the story with the other genres being free to use in order to fully show the theme. 4. I'm basically yoloing the story, trying to make sense of it even with the randomness of the current and future chapters; I swear I'm not a masochi.. *ahem* moving on, a variable left by the previous chapter won't suddenly just disappear because the next chapter doesn't have the same genre as before, meaning if a character that fits a genre was shown on let's say "Chapter 1", said character wouldn't just disappear or cease to exist for no reason at "Chapter 2" or the following chapters just because the character doesn't fit the genres. To make it short this isn't a collection of short stories but one big story instead. 5. Etc.
