《I Died and Got Summoned to Another World as a WHAT?!?!》Ep. 565 Reunions and Politics Part 8

Windy on the other hand stayed on her side of the bed and is sprawled out taking up as much of it as she can. As usual I go into my meditation to watch anime until everyone wakes up. I really miss the feeling of watching new anime, it's one of the few things I do miss.
The others don't wake up until Sarah announces that breakfast is served. Then there is a mad dash for the table, as if there is a limited amount of food. It is mainly Windy and the kids rushing as if they are starving, Myria takes her time.
After everyone else gets up and leaves the room I get up and follow them. For a change I am the first one to finish my breakfast, so I leave while the others are still eating. The very first thing I do, after leaving the inn, is head over to Vacker's school.
When I walk in all of the students instantly stop practicing to salute me. I return their salute and they resume their practice as I go up the stairs looking for Vacker. As expected he is upstairs with some of his more advanced students.
Vacker says "Ash! I heard you were back! Have you been practicing?"
"Hi, Vacker. Um, not much honestly. It is rare that I encounter an opponent who makes me use my skills."
Vacker says "I can understand that, but you should still practice! Did you come for a spar or do you need something?"
"I have a question and a favor to ask, but we can spar first if you think it will help your students."
The students downstairs are called up and all the students form a large circle around us. Once we have sparring weapons in hand Vacker starts, but he starts slow. I match his speed and do my best to use proper forms as I counter his moves.

After a minute he slowly starts increasing the speed and the clack clack of the swords becomes continuous. The student's faces are all covered in either awe or confusion, depending on if they can follow the moves. We are almost at full speed when Vacker steps back and looks around at the students.
Vacker says "Alright, that's enough of a warm up. Let's go full speed."
"Okay!"
When we go at it full speed all of the students just stare with their mouths hanging open. No way can they follow the individual moves, but they can see the general flow. I keep things at a stalemate for about five minutes before I notice Vacker starting to tire and let him win.
Vacker is aware I let him win, but the students have no idea as they burst into applause. It is obvious that the students have just seen something they will never forget. Vacker sends them back to their practice and then leads me upstairs to his office.
Vacker says "Thank you for letting me win."
"No problem. No point in letting your students see you lose."
Vacker says "Your skills may be rusty, but you seem to have improved physically. So you said you had a question and a favor to ask? Go for it."
"Okay, the question is do you have any advanced students who could serve as sword instructors for the army?"
Vacker says "I have two, and they would benefit from the experience."
"Excellent, send them over to Leonarr."
Vacker says "Alright, so what's the favor?"
"Do you think you have time for another student?"
Vacker says "Sure, who do you have in mind?"
'Summon Bones!'
"You remember my skeleton Bones?"
Vacker says "Of course, you want me to train him?"
Bones says "Master?"
"Yes, I want you to train him, but first I want you to test him. When I created him I decided to make him a tank without testing what would best suit him. So I want you to figure out what style suits him best and train him in it. I will provide materials to Mitch, once you know his style, have Mitch make him new armor and a weapon."

Vacker says "Alright, I can do that."
"Bones, you are to obey Vacker, understand? Oh, and no killing any of his students!"
Bones says "Yes, master."
Vacker says "Anything else?"
"Nope, that's it. How are you doing?"
Vacker says "I love teaching, which I didn't think I would, but it is getting hard. My body just can't keep up. I need to find someone to pass my knowledge onto soon while I am still able."
"Well, I can't help with that, but I may be able to help you. I have learned how to rejuvenate a human. It won't get you back to your prime but it should undo a lot of the damage from all those years in jail. However, it will also extend your lifespan, so I won't do it if you don't want to live longer."
Vacker says "Do it! Please!"
So I walk over to Vacker and put my hand on his shoulder, then send my sacred power into him. After scanning him I start breaking down all the old scar tissue that has built up in his body. Especially around his joints, which are pretty bad, it is impressive that he can even walk around.
Once I have cleared all the scar tissue I feed each of his organs a tiny bit of sacred power. This will rejuvenate them and give him about ten years before anything starts to go wrong. As soon as I am done Vacker excuses himself to run to the bathroom.
It isn't surprising, his body needs to clear out all the scar tissue that I broke up. He will probably have to go to the bathroom multiple times before his system is cleaned out. From the way he moves when he returns I can tell that he is already feeling a lot better.
Vacker says "I can't remember the last time I felt this good! Thank you, Ash!"
"No problem, my friend. Although, your students are probably going to hate me for this."
Vacker laughs and says "Yeah, they most definitely will!"
Vacker and I chat for a while longer before I leave and head over to the crafters area. Originally I had planned to talk to Mitch first, but I change my mind and head for Walter's. He is going to be the hardest to talk to, so I may as well just get it out of the way.
Walter says "What the hell do you want?"
"Nice to see you too, Walter."
Walter says "Just tell me what you want and get out!"
"I actually don't want anything. I am here to give you some materials."
Walter says "Materials? What kind?"
"The hide of a lightning drake."
Walter says "Let me see it!!"
Before Walter can try and strangle me, I quickly pull out the drake hide and hand it to him. He quickly unfolds it and spends several minutes examining every inch of hide. To my surprise he actually compliments me on skinning the drake without ruining the hide like I did last time.
Walter says "And you don't want anything made?"
"Set aside enough to make me some armor but don't make it yet. For now I am happy with my angel armor, but in the future who knows what I might need. The rest, do whatever you want with it."
Walter says "Alright, now get out!"

The Spark
Michael Locke was a normal student, who went through his normal day in a normal fashion, until the day became... unnatural. Shot into the country of Aldemar and thrust into a new world alongside his many classmates, he agrees to work for the king in exchange for shelter and to learn magic. Fate however, is indifferent to his wishes, as he quickly realizes that he may be a hero, but his purpose in this world is quite opposite. Suddenly surrounded on every side, Michael must work to survive, and if anyone finds his secret... He's as good as dead. The Spark is meant to be a murder mystery style isekai, focused on the existence of basically an anti-hero, with every one of the large amount of heroes attempting to discover who the traitor is. This isn't made to be a lovey dovey easy going isekai with an OP mc, it's made to stir around an emotional story, with many dark tones. Still, the goal is to stay fairly light hearted as well, and the perspective will pass around to several characters throughout the story.
