Myria says "Aren't you going to ask me to do it?"

"I thought you said you didn't want to rule the bunnies?"

Myria says "I don't. But if it means becoming your wife then I would be willing to!"

"Didn't I already say that that was Annya's idea and that I had no intention to marry anyone?"

Myria says "I was hoping you might have changed your mind. After all, it would prevent a lot of bloodshed."

"Not happening. I will kill before I will marry."

Myria says "Why are you so opposed to marriage?"

"I've already told you. I am going to die in three years or less, that is hardly fair to anyone I would marry. Besides, I get in enough trouble with women without getting married!"

Myria says "That's true. You seem to have a knack for getting yourself in trouble!"

"Yeah, now if only I had the same knack for getting out of it!"

Myria says "Well, as far as that goes, I think Ruby has calmed down a lot."

"We talked earlier. It is definitely a few steps in the right direction. Now I just need to be careful and not mess anything up for a while."

Myria says "Good luck with that! If you end up feeling the uncontrollable urge to get into trouble come see me. I forgive a lot faster than Ruby does!"

"I will keep that in mind!"

Myria says "So, what are your plans?"

"I don't know yet. I will stay in Illium for a few days and then probably visit the tower. Other than that I haven't decided yet."

Myria says "Is there anything you need me to do?"

"If you can help with the kids that would be great! Don't worry, they are normally well behaved, they are just too excited about seeing a city for the first time."

Myria says "Sure, I don't mind."

"Alright, make sure all the beastmen in the city know about them. That way if they manage to run off there should be help finding them."

Myria says "I can do that. Anything else?"

"Not at the moment. When I decide what comes next I will tell you."

Myria says "Okay. Oh, are Leyla and Alannis coming back now that the war is over?"

"No. They will both be staying in the kingdom."

Myria says "Oh, I guess our group is getting smaller. Well, if we don't count your kids!"

"They are both human, it is better this way. Let them deal with human affairs, we have other concerns."

Myria says "Speaking of, have you got a plan for becoming the Beast King?"

"For now I will gather those clans that are willing to follow me. Later the others will be either intimidated into joining or I will fight their champions."

Myria says "I'm glad you have stopped trying to avoid becoming our king."

"I still don't want to be king, but it is unavoidable at this point. At least if I want the beastmen to be a nation and prosper it is."

Myria says "Well, I know the outcasts are already prospering thanks to you! Their lives have improved a lot thanks to you and they all know it."

"Hopefully the clans will see that and be more willing to submit without bloodshed."

Myria says "Well, I know they have seen it, but I don't know what they think of it. Hopefully, Pol will have more information for you."

"Yeah, I will be seeing him tomorrow to get his reports."

Myria says "Sounds like you will be busy tomorrow. Should we get some sleep?"

"You go ahead. I want to go down and check on Lizzy."

Myria says "Alright, good night!"

After Myria heads to bed I get up and head downstairs to talk to Sarah. After I fill her in about the whole duke mess and the party in three nights she is excited. When I try to apologize for it she waves me off, Myria was right, she enjoys the job.

Sarah says "Don't worry! I will prepare everything! Wait, do you have something besides your armor to wear? If not, we can get Amarah to make something before the party!"

"Yes, I have clothes that will work for the party."

Sarah says "Okay, one less thing to worry about! Did Ambrose tell you what changes in authority come with the Duke title?"

"No, he probably didn't want to waste his breath. If you go see him I'm sure he will tell you everything. Especially if you take him tasty treats!"

Sarah says "Oh, you heard about that?"

"Yeah, but don't worry about it. Bribery is fairly minor where politics are concerned."

Sarah says "That's good. Anything else I need to know?"

"Nope, that's it for now. Anything going on here that I need to know about?"

Sarah says "Not really. Things here are going better than they ever have. The morale amongst the summoned is absolutely amazing! It is great seeing everyone so happy and positive!"

"That good? I'm glad to hear it!"

Sarah says "Yes! All the nobles who were causing us trouble ran away with Pine. Since then business has been booming, the street is even making you some profit!"

"I'm not worried about profits, but the fact that everyone is happy makes me glad."

Sarah says "Ash, you are really weird sometimes! But it is weird in a good way, so I will put up with it!"

"Thanks, I think?"

Sarah says "Alright, I've got work to do! Unless you need something?"

"Nope, carry on."

Walking outside I can't help but wonder if Sarah is crazy or if I am the crazy one. She is so energetic at this time of night after running the inn since the crack of dawn. As I walk over to the stables I can't help but wonder if she found some secret energy source.

Lizzy says "Hi, Ash, what's up?"

"Just came to chat and I wanted to make sure you are comfortable."

Lizzy says "I am fine, this place is nice and roomy. But it is nice of you to check."

"That's good. If you need anything don't hesitate to speak up. I have had an idea that I wanted to run past you."

Lizzy says "What crazy plan have you come up with now?"

"Well, I was thinking how we could all travel together if the need arose. But no matter what I came up with we would be slowed down, no mount out there can match your speed. The answer I came up with would work but I am not sure if you will be okay with it."

Lizzy says "Whatever it is just say it. Stop dancing around it!"

"Okay! The idea I came up with was to get a wagon or carriage that you would be able to pull. Normally that wouldn't work off road, but since the ground levels itself for you it would."

Lizzy says "Sure, that's fine. However, there is something I would like."

"What's that?"

Lizzy says "I would like a collar like you are having made for the kids."

"You want to be able to shrink?"

Lizzy says "Yes, I want to be able to go inside with everyone. Even if I don't join in the conversations I want to be able to observe them."
