《I Died and Got Summoned to Another World as a WHAT?!?!》Ep. 183 The Mines Part 5

Since I still have a few minutes I dismount and turn to face the wolves. I look at the alphas of the two packs and motion them closer, as they approach Silveria moves to my side. If they can't understand me I am hoping Silveria will be able to translate for me.
"Alright, I know you two don't like each other but for right now put it aside. No fighting each other, the enemies are the humans. I want you to sweep the camp of the soldiers as quickly and quietly as possible."
The two alphas listen to me then look at each other and growl. Before Silveria can do anything I growl low in my throat, the wolves look startled and just stare at me. As I continue to growl at the alphas they eventually lower their heads, the only one who doesn't is Silveria.
Once the alphas submit I notice that it has gotten darker so I quickly mount up and start Lizzy down the slope. Despite her eagerness I keep her at a slow pace, I don't want her to get hurt or make too much noise. Silveria follows Lizzy and the rest of the wolves follow her, it takes us a few minutes to reach the bottom of the slope.
We all manage to make it with no injuries and very little noise. We quickly move behind one of the slaves barracks then I motion everyone to stay put as I dismount. I creep around the corner of the barracks and head to the front to take a look.
As I reach the corner I hear breathing just beyond it, taking a careful look I see a soldier leaning against the barracks. Luckily he is busy watching the activity by the road out of the mines where the majority of the troops are. The troops by the road have torches lit and all their attention is focused up the road, exactly as planned.
As I look around the camp every soldier I see is intently watching the group by the road. As I reach around and grab the soldier my hand covers his entire face, he is unable to make a sound as I pull him around the corner. He dies without a sound as I crush his skull, and with all the soldiers watching the road no one notices.

I drag the body back around the barracks and lay it in front of the wolves. I wait until all of the wolves have had a chance to smell and look at the corpse.
"Only target the soldiers. Be the shadows that bring death!"
The wolves all stare at Silveria for a minute and then they scatter and vanish into the shadows. I quickly mount Lizzy and we charge around the barracks and head towards the main group below the road. Lizzy moves so fast that even though some soldiers see us they aren't able to raise the alarm before we reach the big group.
As expected their archers are all at the back of the formation, furthest from the road. As we approach I look up at the road and see the heroes have just reached the first switchback, exactly as planned. I draw Blitz as Lizzy hits the line of soldiers like a ton of bricks.
The archers go down easily beneath Lizzy's teeth and claws, I barely have any targets for Blitz. The screams of the archers cause all the soldiers to turn and look towards me and Lizzy. Their formation breaks down as they panic, some trying to rush to fight us, while others try to flee our path.
'Summon Bones!'
Dropping Bones in the middle of them just makes the confusion that much worse. Bones starts slaughtering the soldiers without me having to tell him anything. By the time the heroes and bears make it down the road the soldiers are already in complete chaos.
With the heroes attacking from one side and Lizzy, Bones, and me slaughtering soldiers from the other things just keep getting worse for the soldiers. I let Lizzy and Bones deal with the soldiers while I focus on watching the heroes. Knowing how they fight and their strengths and weaknesses will be very important in future battles.
To my surprise Giles turns out to be the strongest on offense, but he is also the most reckless. Rachel is calm at all times and keeps aware of her team and is ready to support them when needed. Justin is stable but his inexperience shows, he needs more experience for sure.

Emmy is a good archer but I can't tell much more than that since she isn't doing anything but shooting arrows. Koko though, is the hardest to judge, mainly because I can't track her most of the time. She appears, a couple of soldiers die, and she disappears again.
I can't keep track of where she is the rest of the time, even with my superior senses, and that makes her the scariest of the group. I could handle the others on my own, but Koko I would never even see her coming. The only other one who might give me trouble would be Silveria, I am not sure how strong she is currently.
As I am watching and analyzing I occasionally swing Blitz to cut down a soldier who got past Lizzy. Some of the soldiers break away and try to run into the camp, only to find the jaws of the wolves waiting for them. Thanks to Silveria and the wolves, not a single soldier manages to escape, and within an hour there are no living soldiers left.
All in all things went even better than I expected, a few of the wolves and one bear have minor injuries. Considering how many soldiers we killed it is simply amazing that we didn't have any losses on our side. Well, it helps that the soldiers were completely green, I didn't see a single veteran among them.
Justin says "We will sweep the buildings and free the slaves. Keep the beasts here with you so they don't scare the slaves."
"Okay, just be careful around the beastmen, they may not like humans much after all they have been through."
Justin says "Good point, we will be careful."
While the heroes go off to sweep the camp I start working on the bodies. Stripping them of anything useful and then piling them up so they are easier to burn. Bones of course helps, but surprisingly once Lizzy watches for a minute she starts helping too.
Some of the bodies she tosses on the pile may have a bite taken out of them or be missing an extra limb but I don't really mind. After all she isn't human so it is all just meat to her, and it saves me trying to hunt something to feed her. After a bit I notice the slaves, now free of their chains, are starting to gather outside the barracks.
I ignore them and continue working, but after a while it starts getting noisy. When I check again it looks like most of the slaves are outside and they seem to be split into several groups. I can see Justin and Giles trying to calm the groups down but it doesn't seem to be working.
So I stop what I am doing and walk over to listen and see why they are arguing. It turns out that the human slaves are arguing that the heroes came here to save them only and the beastmen are just an afterthought. The beastmen of course don't care for this opinion but instead of uniting against the humans they have started arguing as to which tribe is the most important.
It is all so stupid I already regret coming to save them, and the more I hear the more frustrated I get. When I can't take it anymore I channel my anger into a roar to prevent myself from starting a killing spree. The humans including Justin and Giles are shocked and look at me in fear.
The over nine thousand beastmen have a completely different reaction. Every single one of them turns to face me, kneels down, and lowers their head in submission. I really wasn't expecting my roar to have this kind of effect, now what am I going to do with all of them?
