Ding Wu charged electricity. He flicked his fingers towards the Man wearing black. “Bolt Darts!”
The three small bolts of electricity shot out. It dissipated against an aura of green energy that swirled around the Black Mark agent.
The man smirked. “You think you are the first Lightning Elementalist I’ve fought? My aura will dissipate your lightning. But I wonder,” He kneeled down and poured energy into the ground, “how will you deal with this!”
Three large vines burst from the ground. The vines swiped down at Ding Wu, who rolled out of the way as the vines slammed into the ground. The second tried to stab at him but Ding Wu was able to dodge it. He threw three more darts, they slammed against the green energy, causing a small hole.
“I told you, your attacks will not hot me.” The man said.
“What is the purpose of doing this?” Ding Wu said. “Even if I fall here, you’ll not be able to overcome the other castle guards.”
The man laughed. “You think we need to defeat you all to destroy this unjust structure? No, we’re going to burn it all down.”
It was Ding Wu’s turn to laugh. “Have you seen the size of this mansion? You’re not going to burn it like you did with the other mansions.”
“Fool, we have bombs that we’re placing around the mansion.” The man said. “They are made with intense fire essence. They will explode with enough intensity to burn away this mansion and all nobles and traitors inside!”
“So that is your plan?” Ding Wu said. “I guess I better end this quickly then.” He threw three more darts made of electricity. They once again dissipated against the green energy protecting the man in black.

He laughed, “You electricity is useless, how are you going to end this quickly.” He said. “I on the hand have nothing but options, Greenery Explosion Wave!”
The man sent out a wave of green energy that flowed towards Ding Wu at great speed. Ding Wu leapt back, throwing three more electric darts as he retreated. The darts slammed against the energy protecting the man, opening holes that instantly shrunk to close.
Ding Wu was able to outpace the green wave that was coming after him. He noticed that the three vines were drinking up the energy, growing thicker and bigger, changing their colour from green to a deep brown and gold. The thick appendages tried reaching for Ding Wu, who was now forced to move faster to dodge. The vines would slam into a wall, punching a hole through it before bursting from the ground beneath him.
It was difficult for him to charge up energy while dodging all the attacks but he was able to do it. With each dodge, he was only a hair breath’s away from getting hit until… A vine burst from the ground and while he was dodging that another one finally hit him, causing the Black Mark agent to shout in excitement.
The air was driven out of Ding Wu’s body as he was sent bouncing on the floor. He gritted his teeth as a spray of red sprayed out of his mouth. Light began shining between his hands, tendrils of electricity licked out into the air.
“So you’ve been charging up your energy? Useless!” The Black Mark agent shouted as he directed his vines at him.
Ding Wu pointed his fingers at his opponent’s general direction and a giant bolt of lightning. There was an explosion and the Man in Black flinched.

“He missed?” he said to himself.
The ceiling fell on him. He raised his arms and summoned more vines from the ground which grew up to keep the falling debris from crushing him.
“Piece of crap person,” the man strained as he looked up at the debris threatening to crush him. “He realised that the his lightning can’t reach me, so he tried to crush me instead.”
He groaned as his vines threatened to snap. He shouted, his body radiating energy that strengthened the vines around him to lift up the debris.
There was a crackle…
The man in black looked up with wide eyes of surprise. Ding Wu was rushing towards him, with his fist wreathed in lightning.
“Thunder Fist!” Ding Wu slammed the fist against the man’s protective energy. The energy melted away before his power and slammed into the man, slamming him down on the ground.
“H-How?” the Man in Black said, blood seeping out of his mouth.
“Your little shield, I notice when you use other moves, it weakens.” Ding Wu said. “All I needed to do was make you use a big enough move to weaken your shield. Now, I’ll finish you. Lightning Straif!”
Lightning came out of his body, string the vines around them holding up the debris. When it weakened enough, Ding Wu rolled out of the way in time to dodge the falling debris but the Man in Black was not so lucky…
“Now, I need to stop those bombs!” Ding Wu said, running through the hallways.
