《When I died, All the Empresses Cried》He Will Not Be Missed

''That's enough little Li! Don't play with him, we need to leave soon!'' Wang shouted to his little sister.
They had already stayed way too long in his opinion.
He worryingly looked around as he expected enemies at any moment by now.
'We would need a miracle to get out of this without another fight at this point...'
He sighed with a frown as he took off his mask. They would have noticed that he was her elder brother at this point anyway.
''I'm sorry for wasting unnecessary time, elder brother.'' Li Jing said as she cleaned the blood off her shoe with a water technique.
''No, it's okay. We might as well finish him off at this point.''
''Kill the little ones, comes the old ones. Kill the old ones, comes the big ones. Kill the big ones, comes the older and the bigger ones.'' Li Jing muttered to herself with a finger on her chin.
Her thinking face suddenly changed as she looked directly into the eyes of her elder brother with a 'I understood it' look.
''This is a 'Chain Revenge' situation you kept warning me about!''
Wang shadowed his eyes with his hand in instinct as he felt like he was seeing stars around her serious face.
'Oh no...'
He knew he didn't have the time to enjoy her cuteness.
''Get ready. Unfortunately, we are forced to destroy an empire today.'' Wang said with a fed up expression as he felt an incredibly fast object enter his detection range.
He glanced at the half dead Li Qiye before making a decision.
'Good thing we didn't kill him.'
With a flick of his wrist, he willed the body to fly towards himself.
Once the body reached his hands, he put his hand on Li Qiye's buffed and veiny chess and started doing something as his hand dimly glowed in purple.

Before even a second passed, someone burst through the airship.
It was a middle aged man. His goatee and well shaped chin gave an aura of authority. His dragon robe waved along with the wind as he stood in front of them.
His eyes passed over Li Qiye, then Wang who was holding him, then his little sister Li Jing, and finally the corpses around them.
His judging eyes turned cautious for a second before they regained their confidence.
He nodded slightly to himself as if he understood everything with a small look and then looked directly into the eyes of Wang.
''Let him down, boy.'' he said with an arrogant but authoritarian voice.
Wang on the other hand was utterly impressed.
'How did he not even wince an eyelid after seeing Li Qiye's balls?'
He couldn't help but wonder, but it wasn't the time. He silently applauded his cold personality inside his mind and moved on.
''Sure.'' Wang said as he slowly put Li Qiye into the ground.
''You know what, I have a better idea.'' he stopped putting Li Qiye to the ground and looked up to see the middle aged cultivator's cold and suspicious eyes.
''Why don't I just throw him to you?''
Wang chucked Li Qiye's unconscious body to the middle aged cultivator.
Li Qiye's body slowly flew through the air as the middle aged man, Li Yan's eyes followed it precisely.
'He wants to sneak attack when the body gets in my vision?' he quickly deduced and smirked inside.
'This level of trickery might have fooled the others, but not me. It is merely a juvenile joke to me.' he tried hard to keep his smugness inside, he did not want to show it on his face.
He could see through this trick in a matter of seconds, not only because of his long life experience, but also because of a secret that he told to no one else.

In truth, this was his second life. He didn't know how or why he could remember his past life, but he was certainly making use of it.
He used to be a peak Dao stage cultivator who was merely one step away from the legendary Emperor stage.
But before he died, he was able to secure a secret manual. The secret manual of the First Emperor!
He had to go through many loops and make many excuses, but in the end, he was able to cultivate that manual instead of the one every royal family member used.
'I am the future Emperor and the ruler of the whole world, do you really think some random brat like you can trick me?' he ridiculed him inside his head.
His eyes never left Wang and his sister even when Li Qiye's body came very close to him.
''Now, surrender and kneel bef-''
*Pak*
Li Qiye's body which was secretly filled to the brim with poisonous gas exploded and filled the almost entirety of the airship with purple mist.
His words filled with condescending voice was cut short before even he could finish his sentence as his danger senses honed through two lives flared up in an instant and warned him of the danger that was coming to him.
'What?'
He couldn't understand what happened but he trusted his senses and shielded up before even the explosion happened.
The purple mist quickly eroded his hasty shield as it was concentrated and dense enough to kill anyone under the Dao level in an instant.
Middle aged cultivator from the Empire, Li Yan's anger flared up as he felt like he was bested by a mere child, but he still didn't let go of his rationality.
Instead of attacking like a madman, he kept putting up shields as he rushed out of the airship in a hurry.
'They didn't follow up that attack, that must mean that they are already gone. They never intended to fight in the first place. Tsk, I should have realized it when I saw little Qiye's body all looted. He didn't have anything other than a few broken artifacts on him.'
As soon as he got out of the ship, he felt the spiritual trace of the two kids who rushed out even before him.
''Do you really think you can get away after that? Too bad, I was about to let you die with complete corpses.'' he sneered as he went after them along with his subordinates and his brother, little Qiye's father, the Emperor.
----
An: Bet you didn't expect Lil Qiye to die so fast, did you? I hate the cockroach enemies the most and tried to do a little bait and switch. I gave my boy a transformation, a bunch of articats, a background etc. only to kill him so fast lol. Looking at you, NSHBA and ED

Tales From the Terran Republic
We tried, you know… We really did. We tried so hard to be… better… We actually were better once. No, seriously. We were enlightened, generous, peaceful… Stop laughing! We were! We were peaceful, dammit! No, I’m not “tugging your winglets.” It’s true! Look, if you’re going to be like that, I’ll just push the launch button right now. See ya, don’t wanna be… Oh, you ARE interested after all? Ok. Hey, I just got word that your captain will be ok. We were able to get him into a med pod quick enough… Of course, we tried to save him. Just what sort of people do you think we are?... Now that was harsh… completely accurate, mind you… but harsh. Anyway, like I was saying, we were a prosperous, peaceful people, and war had been nothing but a distant memory for over five hundred years before it happened... Before Yellowstone happened! You don’t mean to tell me that you didn’t know about that… massive supervolcano? Blew the Hell out of our planet? Two years where nothing grew?… Anyway, that’s what started it, the Sol Wars… Oh, you have heard about those, huh? Well, needless to say, all that enlightened, generous, and peaceful didn’t exactly make it through the two years of complete famine and the wars that followed… Maybe it’s more accurate to say the enlightened, generous, and peaceful among us didn’t survive… (laughs)… You’re right. It does explain a lot, doesn’t it? Probably for the best, though. “Enlightened” and “peaceful” aren’t really all that useful out here in the galaxy at large, are they? That reminds me; thanks for the ship. You guys did a great job with this one. Oh, don’t be like that. At least it was us what got you and not one of the really messed groups like the Harlequin or the Black Angels. We’re just going to take your shit. It could be worse… trust me... Well, anyway, we loaded the life pods down with some good food, and you guys can drink alcohol, right? We put in a couple of fifths in there, too. It’s about forty percent ethanol, so be warned. Most species will want to dilute that. We’ll drop your wounded off somewhere safe once they are stable. Your fleet patrols this area fairly regularly, and we’ll drop the distress beacon right before we jump… Well, It’s been fun and no hard feelings, right?… Oh, you want to know some more? Sure. I got time to kill… Let me tell you about this one pirate and her crew. They’re Terran scum, but they are still… Why do we hate the Terrans? Hoo Boy… How much time you got? *** It’s the thirty-second century, and humanity is now part of a galactic civilization comprised of hundreds of worlds. Humanity has been savaged by natural disaster and war and has been fractured into several separate populations, all of which loathe each other (some things never change). This is a gritty drama-driven rambling tale that swings between action, drama, horror, and plenty of very, very dark comedy. Warning: contains adult situations, absolutely horrible language, bathroom humor, implied ultra-violence, actual ultra-violence, drugs, alcohol, pirates, mercs, xeno prostitutes, moral ambiguity, deranged AI's with identity issues, giant commie space slugs, and a poor little frog girl who just wants to sell coffee. Updates twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday. *** Note: This story can get rough. Those warning tags? They aren't for show. I recently received a review and as a result I want to make one thing clear. Portraying something is NOT endorsing it! Many "heavy" topics are touched upon and just because a character says or does something does not imply that the author feels the same way. I selected the "Anti-Hero Lead" and "Villainous Lead" tags for a reason. Rule number one of this story is "no good guys". A good description of the story is, "bad people doing bad things to worse people". There are a few good characters, here and there, but they are the exception to the rule. If you want a hard-hitting, exciting, gritty sci-fi story that doesn't pull any punches, or shies away from "difficult" concepts, welcome! If you are set on a pure and noble knight that runs around and slays conveniently evil monsters and rescues totally innocent princesses... or your sensibilities are easily offended... You're not going to be happy with this one.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
