《When I died, All the Empresses Cried》Just Some Legendary Pills, No Big Deal

''Well, now we know how the strongest faction in the Yang Continent and one of the bloodlines of the First Emperor, the Unmatched Emperor died out.'' an exasperated voice called out. He felt like his efforts were for nothing, seeing as how the young man would just casually destroy the balance on a whole continent, no, the whole world just for his sister. His frustration and annoyance were evident in his tired voice.
''Oh come on, he is strong, but not that strong.'' someone tried to defend his common sense, despite all the seemingly impossible things he had seen today. He wouldn't let his worldview get destroyed so easily.
''Are you sure? We haven't even seen his peak capabilities. He has been toying around with those Dao stage cultivators. I'm sure he is a lot stronger than what he has shown us yet.'' a woman's elegant but playful voice called out above them as she joined the conversation for the first time.
''He was not 'toying around'. He was careful and fast. That is probably how he fights all the time.'' the man defended himself.
Most people felt like what he said made some sense.
''Yeah, he even had to use a sneak attack against the supreme elder who was a peak level Dao stage cultivator.'' a young master supported his argument from behind with a shout.
''Every continent is ruled by an empire that is a lot stronger than any other sect in that continent, mostly because they have the most resources, most peak Dao stage cultivators, legendary artifacts that lets them fight cultivators above their strength, and the most important, the bloodline of the legendary first Emperor. With the artifact that can be activated by only the bloodline descendants of the First Emperor, they are pretty much the strongest faction thanks to their ability to fight at the Emperor level with the artifact.'' the young prince of the Graceful Righteousness Empire said slowly as he tried to make them remember what it meant to attack an Empire.
He personally knew how powerful the Empires that carried the bloodline of the first Emperor carried. Currently, there were some Empresses who long surpassed the First Emperor so most people started seeing the Empires as their equals, not their superiors.
An Empire was still the most supreme force in a continent if you excluded the factions the Empresses led.

''Let's just watch it, we will see which one of us is right after it ends.'' the graceful voice of the woman was heard again as she avoided the conversation with the prince.
''Wanna bet? Or are you going to pussy out of this like you pussied out of this conversation?'' the first person to object to her tried to taunt her in front of everyone with a small chuckle. He felt like no one would be crazy enough to attack him in front of all these 'righteous' sects and factions, so he could simply run his mouth as he wanted as long as he didn't reveal his identity.
''Ugh, crass unorthodox cultivator. This is why your kind should be exterminated.'' she scoffed and ignored him as she ignored his taunting and humiliating laugh.
-----
Screen in the sky continued on.
Wang was in the sky, flying through the air as he popped a pill into his mouth after getting rid of the Heavenly Gold Palace.
'That took much more energy than I thought it would.' he contemplated to himself as he planned out his next fight.
'Getting information out of the Glorious Yang Empire will not be as easy as the Heavenly Gold Palace.' his eyebrows furrowed in frustration.
'I need to break through to the peak of the Deity Ascension before I reach there, I need at least that much to protect myself.'
''Ugh, cultivating on the move is such a pain...'' he took out a pill he 'borrowed' from the Heavenly Gold Palace's treasury as he groaned externally from the annoyance.
Gold colored pill almost seemed to be solid gold. Its pure golden color with nothing on it made it look basic but peerless at the same time.
He ate the pill without thinking and focused on his internal body to maximize the effects while putting a small part of his mind to flying straight.
-----
''Was... was that the Solid Gold Pill!? a muscular man with tattoos all over his body said with a small shock in his voice.
''No, it must be the legendary Pure Golden Pill!'' an alchemist corrected him, with much higher excitement and shock as he almost shook from it.
''What a treasure... How can he eat it so nonchalantly?'' another alchemist called out in a mutter. He couldn't suppress his need to experiment on the pill to reverse engineer it. Seeing it eaten so simply in front of him almost maddened him.

''Will you guys tell us what it is?'' a small voice said with little embarrassment as he felt like an idiot for not knowing something like this. Everybody was acting like it was no big deal to know this, as if this was a piece of common knowledge.
''Yeah. Enlighten us, the uneducated peasants.'' a sarcastic voice from behind agreed.
''The Pure Golden Pill has been a dream for both the alchemists and the Body Strengthening Sects. It is a lost pill that is known as the best body cultivation pill ever made.'' an alchemist explained in a daze.
''The only downside it has is that only people with very strong bodies can consume it. Weak people's bodies will turn into Gold statues and stay that way.'' he continued after spending a second to he collected himself.
''As you know, it's almost impossible to help body cultivators at the later stages of cultivation because of their strong immunity and various other factors. This pill is one of the extremely rare pills that could help even the Dao stage body cultivators! There are like 4 other pills that can achieve that, and 2 of them are lost just like the Pure Golden Pill.'' someone else finished his explanation with excitement rushing out of his rushed voice.
''Pure Golden Pill is one of the reasons why the Heavenly Gold Palace was one of the strongest sects during their... you know, when they weren't destroyed by a brat. A very strong brat.'' the strong voice of an elderly said slowly with little contempt and anger. He couldn't believe that such an amazing treasure would be lost forever because of a brat. A simple kid who just wanted to see, no, save his sister.
''Eating it on the run as if it's just some candy is ridiculous. Let's not even mention the fact that this guy seems to be a poison cultivator. He is not a body cultivator who could handle the effects of the pill. Eating such a strong pill so nonchalantly might be fatal.'' an alchemist said with distaste in his voice as his eyes radiated murderous intent towards the already dead hero.
''Well, we all know how this will play out.'' the lord of an body Strengthening sect said with his tired voice. He was already sick of this 'Favored Son of Heaven' bullshit. He didn't work so hard to see his achievements overshadowed by a simple kid with a shit ton of talent and equally enormous luck.
''Yeah, he is the chosen brat after all. He will probably get a power-up and go destroy the Glorious Yang Empire.'' another old leader agreed with a silent voice. He was similarly fed up with all the things he had seen.
''Some people are just born with luck like this after all.'' another lord agreed.
''I heard of these so-called 'Chosen Sons and Daughters of the Heaven'. Every disaster will turn into an opportunity.'' he continued after a small sigh.
''We can scheme or fight all we want, some random thing will cause them to soar to the heights we can only dream of...'' he finished with a beaten face.
''Well, which one of the Empressesdidn't have strange pasts like this?'' an envious voice tried to point out a truth, but he was quickly forcibly shut up by the people around him.
''We don't talk about that! That brat is dead, Empresses are still alive. Don't say anything that could offend them.''
Which one of them wasn't envious of the Empresses who wielded absolute power over the continents they lived in. But how could they be stupid enough to insult them or voice their envy or distaste about them? If they were such people, they wouldn't live long enough to participate in this battle. Only young masters with good backings could be this stupid and still get to live.

[Wrote half of the chapter on the phone while walking. Sorry for the mistakes, I will probably fix most of them tomorrow. Also, this talk about the pills and shit was supposed to be half a chapter while the other half was supposed to introduce the new characters and stuff. It just grew this much without me noticing and became a full chapter lol. I would normally rewrite it but I do not really have that luxury right now.]

Naga rising (Final version)
Eshanai used to think that her life was pretty good, that the elders of her tribe of Naga sisters had their best interests at heart. But one suspiciously regular disaster after another sort of makes you question things. So when Eshanai decides to go out on the island to do the unthinkable, break some rules, and nothing terrible happens to her like the elders said it would, her questions start to multiply. What else could the elders be wrong about? Were the Naga really chosen by the spirits? And could there be other people out there, beyond their island? Follow Eshanai and some of her sisters as she tries to find a way to leave the island and comes up with increasingly creative ways to get into a certain Oni's pants. Author's note: This is not a rewrite of my original Naga rising story. It's more of a reimagining, as it contains many of the same characters and settings but will have a completely different plot. Be advised that the two are not related to one another. This should not be seen as any form of sequel or prequel story. So I have caught up to my backlog, and at first, I thought I could release a chapter once a week. That turned out to be unrealistic as I am writing in my spare time, so periods of inaction might not be uncommon. Some of the tags might not come into effect until later on in the story.

The Weaver's Wrath
Millennia have passed since the end of the God Wars. Mankind's heroes of these wars, the powerful Luminescents, have since become the rulers of the lands, relying on their ancestors' deeds to fuel their own ambitions. The Church itself has fractured since the death of their Goddess. Now it has shifted its focus to a new power - the descendents of the men and women who had received her blessing in the past - the Luminescents. However, with the death of the Goddess Selene, their own abilities began to lessen in quality with each successive generation, leaving them grasping desperately at whatever they can; money, lands, power. Sevrath was born in a time far different than that of ages past. Much of the continent was under the rule of the powerful Luminescent rulers. The Gods were dead and gone; the age of man had begun. Only the Desolate Lands lay unconquered and resolute, a relic of the power of Deimos, the God of Death and Destruction. So when he is found near the borders of the Desolate Lands, what does it mean? Is he some spawn of demon, like many of the townsfolk of Carthal believe, or something else altogether? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This will not necessarily be something that is updated often. Book 1: The Weaver's Wrath Book 2: The Berserker's Burden Book 3: The Artificer's Absolution Book 4: The Guardian's Grace
