《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 202: Opportunity Cherishers

Unlike Alexander who was reluctant about many things involving voice acting, there happens to be many folks that were looking forward to it.
The people he labeled as 'Random Guy' are among the group of people who were just looking to take a part in any production of sorts.
Voice acting makes an important contribution to many films, television productions, and advertisements in the United States.
When a character represented does not appear visually in the action. When the actor playing the part is unable or unwilling to speak in it. When a character breaks into song, with a singer's voice substituted.
Aside from being needed when making animated films, the avenue of having a voice acting job is quite expansive in a sense.
A lot of people could very well want to take part in it but it is also a competitive business to be in.
Others such as Alexander might think that it has a low development ceiling but that is only when one does not know the peak that can be achieved
Although it isn't quite a circulated of a knowledge, people such as Don LaFontaine in the peak of voice acting and dubbing world is the one that the 'Random Guys' aspire for.
At some point in that enviable man's career, he became known as the Voice of God, Thunder Throat, and the King of Movie Trailers.
Voice acting wannabes feel pressure whenever they are watching a movie trailer in a cinema or on television. With gravitas and deepness, Don LaFontaine would utter the infamous "...in a world..." and introduce film fans to what the film could be.
It is said that the man is part of almost every film production he could possibly get and has connections in Hollywood that everyone can just dream of. Of course, he also has riches that every non-saints would want to have.
For the Random Guys, the gig at Creed Animations could very well be their first step to reaching the Voice of God's level.
They cherished the opportunity yet there was their unintroduced little boss who was already speculatively calculating their career track and even want to stay away from it.

It was just way too opposing views on things, so it was best that the 'Random Guys' didn't know about Alexander's opinions.
How aggrieved would they be at such a privileged fella? There was no denying that he was the creator but he should respect that voice acting craft more.
-----
Among the single reluctant trier and many opportunity cherishers, it just so happens that an opportunity cherisher of animated voice acting is a woman who appeared in a recent Tampax commercial.
It was a straightforward product advertisement but the main lady in the commercial was catching attention.
"Remember, there's a feeling with Tampax. It can actually change the way you feel about your period." Said the woman in her 80s exercise attire whilst holding a box of Tampax.
Of course, that was an advertisement being played on television, and Courteney Cox was excited to see the woman there. After all, it was none other than herself.
"Congrats again, Courteney? You're gonna make it big in the tampon industry." Sarcastically said a girl friend of Cox.
"Oh... you're just jealous." Courteney dismissed while flailing the Dragonball Volume 3 in her hands. How could she care for the envy of others when she could tell that her career's getting better.
There was the now circulating tampon commercial and a supposedly steady gig as a voice actress.
The girl friend did not comment on the jealousy claim as she truly was feeling that. Instead, she turned her eyes on the thick book that flailed towards her and asked. "How come you're reading something similar to what my tiny brother's been reading? We're already in our 20s Court. Why read comic books?"
"This is for another gig I'm doing." Courteney explained. "Besides it's quite fun, even for girls at our age. Girls want pearls, especially some seven-something balls that grant wishes."
"What kind of job is that?" The girl friend was curious and ribbed in laced jealousy. "It can't be another commercial like that Tampax one, can't it?"
"Dubbing for an animation thing. I'm playing an inventor girl that is apparently extremely popular in the world of nerds." Courteney did her research on things and knew the ins and outs of her character now.

"Phew..." The girl friend seems to have been given an ease for her envy. How could she be jealous of a cartoon gig? "I thought it was something big like a Superman movie from the comics. Why would you choose something like that though? You already have face recognition and all that. What about Misfits of Science and your run-in with the Carrie director?"
"I have not much contact with the director now, they're all high and mighty. I could still go for Misfits of Science while doing this thing." As Courteney listed that out, she felt that her career was truly on a rise.
"Why do you have to juggle two projects? You make it seem as if dubbing a cartoon is the same as acting in a real TV show. That's a real TV show, mind you!" The friend advised.
"Just want to exercise my acting skills and earn extra cash. Payment is unfair for us actresses, so I got to work hard compared to the boys who have it relatively easy." Courteney just left it at that. Her words should be solid enough for others to not look into things further.
Although the girl was her "friend", she was technically much more of an acquaintance for having the same profession and meeting at auditions on many occasions.
Vanity fair is a battle. Much more so for starlets and actresses.
Courteney couldn't just disclose some prime information that would get her ahead.
How could she share with an acquaintance about how great of a chance being a part of a cartoon is... more specifically, something about Creed.
-----
She was like this acquaintance once. Dismissing a simple cartoon as it wouldn't do much good for a career in Hollywood.
Fortunately, her agent got hold of some scattered broker pieces of information and she just connected the dots from there.
A cartoon whose per episode quota was way more generous than Misfits of Science. Creed Animations is a part of a wider Creed Entertainment that also held Creed Pictures.
Creed Pictures is the film company that produced 'Back to the Future", a film that she missed her shot during the auditions. She never got word about it now but she heard some rumors circulating about how ambitious it was.
Then, there was Creed Comics. As of this May, the Dragonball Volume 3 she has bought is just part of many other Volume Books that were released.
Courteney wouldn't forget the insight she got from people hounding over Creed Volume Books from the Dragonball series to JoJo's Bizarre Adventures Volume 1.
The clerk counter said that Volume Books are selling by the millions as time accrued and the numerosity and continuity of the comic titles were enough to tell her how many prospects it held.
Just the popularity poster sales were enough to sell her on the gig. How surprised she was to see the Bulma, the character she was going for, to always be wearing crowns around the Top Popular 5.
If everything works out to her agent's and her own expectations, then there was a big opportunity dangling around everything relating to "Creed".
It may just be a voice acting gig but Courteney Cox still did her best to snag a role. With acted Creed fan enthusiasm and better qualification from a music video and tons of commercial experience, she really went all out to get the part.
She was way too opposite from a certain little somebody that wanted to argue out of a part.
Courteney Cox was as enthusiastic as her 'Random Guy' counterparts, however, she had much secretive agendas added to her Creed Animation enthusiasm.
According to her agent and following Hollywood "rules", meeting an elusive producer like Sullivan Creed was great but she could also try forming connections with a much mysterious Alexander Creed.
One was the owner of everything Creed while the other was the undoubted source that powered everything.
Courteney had no idea who she would encounter by being Bulma but she had already willed herself to do her best.

Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
