《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 66: Alien +

Alexander was quite confident that he made a quintessential cyborg cop story but it needs a lot of work since RoboCop isn't exactly a big hit when it came out.
As creative as the original conceptualizer and the concept was, they stopped at the creativity and hadn't properly handled how it would go forward.
This made RoboCop a recurring but non-sticking Intellectual Property in the same shoes as the original ThunderCats.
Nonetheless, he would do his best in making it an iconic mechanical lawman under the Creed Comics banner.
Since he can't get Iron Man and Judge Dredd, he'd just combine the best of both characters and make RoboCop an integral icon that everyone would remember and idolize.
To that end, Alexander could only commend himself for thinking that far ahead.
To think that it all started from the fact that he read about 'The Terminator' in the newspapers.
Of course, he still wouldn't be stopping with RoboCop yet as the time-traveling robot flick still had some potential inspiration to squeeze off of.
Alexander was content on the mechanical part but there is still an alien hunter to be conceived from The Terminator.
Since the day is still long and the inspiration is still high, why stop with the mechanical when he could still go alien?
-----
The alien hunter doesn't concern with Cameron's 1986 Alien movie but it did have something to do with Schwarzenegger's 'Predator'.
Get to the choppa! Yells buff Arnold in an iconic manner that goes toe to toe with many cinematic one-liners in film history.
Although Alien and Predator are separate things, they would eventually become intertwined in the far future.
Of course, Alexander didn't have the trouble of entangling himself with 20th Century Fox's Alien franchise as he just want Predator for himself.
After all, who wouldn't want a galactic race of alpha hunters to play and have fun with?

Since the tediousness and repetitiveness of Rocky IV, it became a well-known joke that Rocky Balboa had run out of opponents that make him an underdog. So it became a humorous suggestion to make him fight an alien in the fifth installment.
Stallone, the screenwriter of Rocky might have dismissed it as a joke but it became an inspiration for screenwriters who came up with the 'Hunter' story.
An extraterrestrial that hunts the most dangerous species on the world it chooses as its hunting ground.
For unfortunate Earth, it was the humans at the top of the food chain and unfortunately for humanity's top soldiers, they were the prime targets.
Alexander had no general clue about who the true screenwriters were but he did find interest in the fate of the idea. After being rejected by Stallone, it did still make its way into the other 80s action hero with Arnold making things go full circle.
Still, the no-name conceptualizers are probably first-timers with little credibility in Hollywood as their manuscripts still hasn't taken off. Thus, Mr. Legalities was able to register the concept under Creed Comics.
Taking their credit became much easier without possible legal troubles that could impede him in growing the franchise.
-------
Alexander first drew the simplest form of the Predator with its Jamaican side curls or the dreadlocks, the menacing mask, and hunt-centric armors.
He also didn't forget to draw the version where the mask is gone and exposed the horrific face that hisses on its prey.
The Yautja doesn't stop from there as it has a lot of traditions and hunter customs that must be understood.
If people would think that the Xenomorphs are the stumbling block to the actualization of the Predator franchise, then they'd have to think again as Xenomorphs aren't the only aliens that man could come up with.
Alexander just has to think up of many interesting and new alien civilizations for the Predators to hunt and prey on for sport.

It could be an expansive space saga that would effectively grow the Predator franchise just like how Alexander planned things out for RoboCop.
The preliminary outlining commenced and many storylines were being noted.
If movies failures made RoboCop and Predator a mess, then comic books in their long form should give them their needed redemption.
-----
As Alexander went on with focus, Milla had to stop him. "Hey, Alex! It's lunchtime. Remember that grandpa Sullivan told me to slap you when you miss feeding your stomach again."
Successfully pulling himself from creative immersion due to that threat, the sight of his progress became clear to Alexander.
Although it wasn't much to go on, it was enough to skeleton the entire series. As much as how grandstanding he wants the Predators to be, they aren't exactly that extendable when it comes to storytelling.
They at least have a story now with a concrete beginning, middle, and end. The good thing about this is that it could be one-shotted and spun off to different sectors of the galactic spectrum.
It didn't need to be overdone though as it needed a necessary goal for doing so and not the haphazard storytelling that the previous franchise owners had done with it.
Yautja's were simple folks to be told but it is that simplicity and ferocity that makes them somewhat appealing to the masses.
Perhaps that appeal is what is drawing him to these low-level franchises and trying hard to make them bigger than the downturns that they would have been.
"Alex, you're lost again. I've already opened my lunch box and I'll probably eat yours if you imagine things again." Milla's nagging sounded out again just as he was getting to the root of his confounding attraction towards franchises.
"Yes yes. I hear you." Alexander simply sat across Milla as he took his lunch and enjoyed it.
"Is making a new story that hard?" The curious girl can ask now that he wasn't busy and just munching on food.
"It's complicated..." Thankfully, he has a cheat that aids him in things. He did note one peculiar thing about this memory of his though. "... but it somehow gets much more accessible the more you do it. Maybe that's why it's called a skill."
"Why do you ask?" Alexander also noticed her strange cues and didn't delay with getting to the bottom of it.
"Well, I think I am going to do what you do from now on." Although Alex was distant and quiet for most of the time, Milla could still share stuff with him as that's what friends are for in her opinion.
"Good luck on that, I guess." It wasn't on her publicized portfolio but I guess she could still branch out. "Just ask when you need my help I guess."
"I'm not talking about making comic books though." Little Milla seems to not want him to misunderstand and corrected him with pride. "I'm going to work hard from now on with being a star."
"A star?" Alexander inwardly wasn't surprised since he knew her future but he still had to hide that with the gullible trick. "Don't you have to be plastered in the sky during the clear night for that and you also have twinkle all the way?"
"Silly Alex." Milla always likes to show her big sis identity and this was one of these moments. "Mommy and grandpa Sullivan got me covered and by then, you'll know what kind of star I'll be."

Verdant Heart Seed - A Reverend Insanity fan-fiction
Back in the Late Antiquity Era, the protagonist meets his untimely demise. But Heaven and Earth always leaves a way out, his new cultivation journey begins anew on the path of reclaiming his former strength and defying Fate.---This is a story about a native cultivator of the Gu world. He lived in the era of/before Spectral Soul Demon Venerable (two venerable eras before the main RI plot). He suffered the rise of the demon venerable, barely able to make his arrangements before his death. He manages to rebirth, but doesn't everything go as planned. The story starts off in an isolated small word (grotto heaven), until the MC can grow and reclaim his former glory, before surpassing it. (long way, he was already rank 8 before) The MC has a pragmatic worldview, aligned with what you would expect from someone living hundreds of years in that kind of hostile environment. He doesn't shy away from immoral acts if it benefits him. The MC bears close resemblance to Fang Yuan in this regard, but his goal is not eternal life. One of my aims was to showcase the later introduced cultivation rules into the mortal cultivation (dao marks, attainment etc.) and explore novel scenarios within this highly technical cultivation environment.
