《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 30: Busyness

The Monday desk busyness was just the start as the rest of the school days were a comic book grind.
Miss Hansen was getting ticked by the wanton act of disregard for her authority but she stopped herself when she saw that Alexander's output isn't anything different from the rest of the students.
He answers when he gets called, he actively participates in group activities when needed, he answers tests and takes part in desk projects without trouble while having surprisingly high marks.
Like how she tolerated the boy for the past few weeks, Miss Hansen also extended that courtesy for future classes.
It was unfortunate when it came down to the 'Ee'-trio though. They copied possessed Creed's ways and made art banners to represent their brotherhood while in class.
It was a banner competition to decide among three works on what design they would go for.
They weren't able to escape wrath as possessed Creed has always done because they weren't able to come up with quick answers and their grades were already on the low side.
Ultimately, they failed and disbanded in a way that was different from how Alexander remembered it to be.
Since they attracted a lot of heat from the teacher, their bullying activities and bonding were suspended and they were already starting to drift apart.
While Barty planned to be the president of 'Ee' world, Olly and Clarky also realized that they could be presidents as well when they planned their banners.
A tripartite of 'Ee' ideologies were forming and unbeknownst to the school, the chaos started that tore friendships apart.
Barty takes the lead with his rich kid status. Clarky's father seems to have quit his job and has become rich of his own, so he didn't have to grovel like he had been and became an up-and-coming rich kid. Olly was crafty as always and was forming an underground group of 'Ee' associates that also took in girls whose names end in 'Ee' sounds.

Alexander, who took breaks from time to time, could only shake his head at the bully trios low education levels but still having the charisma and guts of a politician.
In mild honesty, he was looking forward to their renewed futures that are courtesy of his sanctioned butterfly flaps.
Whether they'd be better off or worse than before, that was up to the new fates that their decisions would lead them to.
--------
For Alexander, the matters of others were only secondary and just a form of an interesting tidbit to spectate on.
Most of his time is centered on the Dragonball comic books and he did just that.
From his Monday fumbling as a comix newbie, Alexander fumbled on for the next couple of days until he found his rhythm.
His consistent best is one issue per day as he fleshed out the contradictions of Goku and Bulma while also innovating on her types of machinery.
For the Friday issue, he was working on, he had already got to the point where he could finish 1 and a half of the work.
For the unfinished story, it was about the extending pole and how Goku got it from his deceased grandfather, Gohan.
He had to conceptualize the staff's origin without much context from Toriyama, so he stalled there for a bit.
For Saturdays and Sundays, these were the days where he drew and worked without the constraints that school presented itself.
It was two-issue days and Alexander was getting the knack and instincts on how things work.
His indecisions and consideration of where and which image should go in each panel became a lot smoother.
The mistakes on panel shaping, panel organizing, speech bubble arrangement, page coordination, dialogue, character motions, moods, and emotions were slowly but surely being worked on.

He was still stuck on penciled art though so he was quick and breezy from knowing that most of his missed mistakes could still be corrected.
It was important to note that by industry standards, Alexander's productivity was over the standards with monstrosity.
Comic book artists need half a month to do all their work before the inking process due to their month-long work. Manga artist has a little less than four days before their true blue inking due to their weekly work habits.
Alexander's efficiency to all the pre-inking work was just insanity and pushing through with all the best that human capabilities could offer.
Of course, his daily output could be replicated but comic book artists and mangakas have editors and group mindsets to consider.
It was fortunate that Alexander decides everything for himself and also the fact that his re-life side effect is still intact.
His crazy outlining of all of his Dragonball lore also helped to motivate him. By his plans, 260 plus issues are needed to complete all the young Goku storylines. There are still crazy more issues to go with the adult Goku and the Saiyan storylines. The Dragonball Super is another series of its own that could reach 100 plus and more.
The fact that is registering in his mind is that he isn't even close to 1%, so his rush and drive to make progress could be traced from there.
It was unfortunate that he couldn't be beyond humans so 2 issues per day is his maximum while only 1 and a half issues for all the school mixed days.
The important tidbit of every issue being made is that it should be exciting and noteworthy to be made and read, so Alexander had to double down on his speed and his quality.
As far as he could tell, everything he has finished is satisfactory enough with humor, action, lore, interesting characters, and advancing storylines with some forward-thinking developments.
Of course, as he continues to move on and improve on his skills, he would feel dissatisfaction with his earlier works but that was a normal process that every creator goes through.
Even a normal person would feel awkward and cringy from seeing a picture of himself that he felt was cool at that time.
The best course of action is to accept things as a process of life. Even what he is at present would become an imperfect and flawed version in the future.
-----
By the time that Alexander reached issue 24, it was still the extended Ox-King and Chichi arc which was a definite improvement from Toriyama's version.
If the original was taken into account, this was when the unconventional Dragon team would split apart and go on separate paths.
For Alexander's version, it would be by issue 30 that the first arc would wrap up.
The choice of his number of issues is already mind-boggling for any standards of manga and comic book alike in this era.
Whether it was the right choice or not, it was up to the market performance of the copies to tell.
His enthusiasm still hasn't been depleted though as he would stand by his decision even if the sales of the comics would tank as his busyness doesn't necessarily need to correlate with business.
