Leo readily got dressed and left the room. However, his mind was still full of the book.
'At least, I can finally have a few more insights corresponding to more standard cultivation.'
The energy pattern in the books helped Ben understand why he couldn't advance like how others did. He got a better grasp of what it meant to lack talent.
And while that didn't directly help him, it gave him context for his choices.
Ginn said humorously.
Ben had arrived in the dining room.
as Ben repeated the same word, his voice became deeper and deeper.
Leo joked while raising his nose high and proud, mimicking.
Ginn calmly drank some juice.
Leo put his hand to his heart.
After putting the cup down, Ginn moved his middle finger, imitating a sword. A sharp aura appeared around it.
Ben covered one of his eyes and then slowly uncovered it. However, his actions made him look more like a pirate than anything else.
While he tried, his evil laugh sounded pathetic.
Ginn said in a grave tone.
Leo responded with an awkward smile.
They keep eating while throwing questions around, somehow the atmosphere melting away.
Ginn pointed out.
Before Ginn responded, a moment of silence filled the room.
Ginn nodded as he agreed.
He then added.
Leo sighed.
Ben whispered.
Ginn asked.
Ben's eyes widened, and a silly smile appeared on his face.
His smiles disappeared.
Ginn was unsure.
Leo mentioned.
A powerless smile appeared on Ginn's face as he said:
After pausing for a moment, Ben finally asked something he seemed a bit unsure about:
Someone entered the room, interrupting their talk. The one entering had dark blue skin, eyes, and hair. A muscular body and broad shoulders. And a short beard. He wore a yellow overall and a dark green long-sleeved shirt.

"Good morning. Sorry for interrupting. But if we don't leave soon, Leo will miss the auction." He was Silver Redriver, the lead Blacksmith of .
"Let's talk later then. Shall we leave now?" Ginn asked.
"Sure."
As they were leaving the building, Emma Goldspear joined them.
Emma was the 's lead in business affairs. She had white-yellowish skin, short wavy blond hair, and black eyes. And an unusually long face that contrasted with her long light blue dress and long sleeve white jacket.
Before leaving, Ginn put on a simple cultivator robe with dragons drawing on it.
Immediately, the group of four left the base on a standard carriage.
---
Clearsky was a clan and company focused on high-end trading.
While they're most famous for their Auction Houses, their business wasn't limited to only such. They work on extraction, refinement, and buying and selling materials in high volume. They also produce all kinds of middle-level artifacts, and they have connections with many small businesses. For example, their most expensive and advanced specialization was the production of large Arrays.
Because it was auction day, Evergreen's Clearsky Auction House road was bustling. While the crowd came and went, Ginn's carriage arrived. They entered the building, and a man and woman in formal attire greeted them.
"Good morning. Mr. Aravyz, I'll lead you to the meeting room." the man said.
"Leo, we part our ways here. I'll see you later."
Once Ginn's group was gone, the woman welcomed Leo.
"Good morning, Mr. Moon. My name is Lia, and I'll be your attendant for the day. Shall we go directly to the VIP room?"
"Morning, Lia. Sure." Leo agreed.
"Then, please, follow me."

Fighting to be Kind in a Cultivation World
Aren't you tired of the typical cultivation story, where an isekai'd person comes into the world and becomes a brutal or selfish person? I know I am. So instead of being fully changed by the world, I want this protagonist to stick to their beliefs and help to change the world (and people) for the better. There will still be main character development and tests of those beliefs, but I want them to maintain that aspect. Brief Synopsis:American is thrown into a typical Xuanhuan cultivation world where the masses of the people are typically sacrificed for the abilities of the few. This is meant to be an alternate take on how protagonists approach these worlds. Main character comes into the world w/ scanning, healing, and monster taming abilities. The release schedule will begin on Dec 1st. The schedule is 2 chapters/week (Tue & Fri) at 11pm. Please like, comment, and follow, as that helps me to gauge interest in the series. Final note: I notice that many cultivation novels treat abuse or sexual assault as a throwaway tool to set a stage. I think the way it is normally done is both lazy and a disrespectful to victims. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve the way I've done it in this series, please let me know. I want to do this the right way. P.S. *Nudge, nudge* If you are looking for a sneak peek of up to 16 chapters ahead, check out my Patreon. :D

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
