"It looks so cool, what do you think Heath?"
"Yeah it looks a lot better than the first time I came" Heath looked at the Light Pole that Officer Jenny was leaning on the first time and shook his head in disappointment.
"Bad experience?" Brendan asked sincerely, patting Heath's back which cause Heath to be confused.
"Why do you ask"
"Typically you have look at something or hear something and if it reminds you of something bad, you shake your head. It's something I noticed, this one just seemed..mild, so I decided to ask, you don't have to answer if you don't want you know "
'He's pretty observant.'
"No, it's fine, yeah it's a habit I guess" Heath shrugged and they continued walking through the city.
The city was a lot more pack than the first visit and Heath decided to get a room for the two of them immediately which Brendan relented. Heath took Brendan to the same hotel that he had checked in to the first time he had stayed in Oldale. Cheery shouts and joyful conversations were heard throughout the small crowds as they paced themselves on the cobblestone roads. Heath noticed that even though there was a sidewalk. The lack of cars made it entirely useless as most people would freely take over all of the space that was allotted for cars. Grant saw all types of pokémon in their journey to the hotel
"So you've been in this City?"
"Yes but I don't have the experience to show or tell you everything" Heath explained. They soon reached the Pokémon Center, and walking in they saw a bunch of trainers or different ages conversing while other trainers traversed to get to their destinations. Heath attempted to avoid most of the trainers but he ended up bumping into a couple talking
"Excuse me," Heath apologized. The couple also apologized, letting Heath and Brendan make their way to the reception desk in attempt to get a room in the place, but Heath had a bad feeling.
'There's way to many people and with the decorations. Most of the hotels might actually be full…Let's see' Heath finally arrived at the receptionist desk where he saw a young woman who looked furiously at the computer in front of her, so much that they didn't realize that the two of them were right next to her.
"Ughnmm" Heath coughed, causing her to jump. She looked at the both of them with slightly embarrassed noted by the light red mixing in with her olive skin.
"Reminds me of you in the forest Brendan" Heath joked.
"Sh-"
"So ma'am, uh were looking into getting a room here, is one available?" Heath interrupted Brendan and the Lady clicked a few things on her computer before shaking her had.
"Sorry, We just had our last room booked by someone. Is there anything else I can do for you today?" The receptionist looked sincere in her apology and Heath creased his brows, thinking of any other Hotels that might be around the area but he drew a blank. He looked towards Brendan and then back to the receptionist.

"Uh do you have any idea where there might be a hotel that has a room available. Preferably double beds?" Heath asked gingerly afraid of hurting his chances of sleeping on a bed that night. The receptionist nodded slightly before clicking on her computer. This time she took a little while that Heath began to just look at random things until she was done.
"Uhhh yeah, the Hotel not to far from here has a couple of Hotels. Should I reserve one for you?" The receptionist asked.
"You can do that?" Heath questioned. He didn't even think she could check other hotels statuses.
"Well yeah, this is a common occurrence with Oldale having a ton our tourist around this year. It's a weird but helpful tool that we receptionist have" The receptionist explained with a smile.
"Okay, can you do so please. Lily?" Heath read the name tag that he had found right next to her when she showed the list of Hotels. She smiled brighter while turning the computer back around and typing something on her console.
"Sure and do you need directions" She asked while typing, looking up she noticed him nodding, so she went back to typing on her computer.
The two of them waited for a couple of minutes before the reservation was done and Lily went to the back to get a file that she had printed out. She didn't take much time as she soon reappeared before the desk with a paper
"Finished…He is your Qr code for the pricing as well as the qr code for the directions to the hotel that holds your room" The receptionist folded up the paper and handed it over. Heath profusely thanked her and quickly walked off once seeing a line of people who were waiting to come into the building. Heath and Brendan made their ways out of the pokémon center and now where on the street that held the bustling and energetic atmosphere that the towns they were previously in didn't. They decided to go straight to the other hotel to pay for the room before adventuring off into their own interest. As they walked the cobble making them slightly off balance with each step. They soon discovered the best path to travel by.
"Hey Heath did you already scan the Qr code" Brendan curiously asked. Heath nodded as he paid attention to his pokégear.
'We aren't that far from the other hotel but apparently this hotel is slightly more expensive due to being a dedicated hotel for trainers.'
Heath looked up and the saw the hotel in the crux of a corner that they would need to turn when the occupied street came to a cross junction. When the both of them turned they saw that the street was discernibly less utilized, with the street having been less worn due to the amount of people walking on it over time and the decreased noise. Crowds showed up once and again but this was more a spectacle of observing the pokémon that a trainer carried, Heath even saw a Hitmontop performing a show that dazzled the crowd. That's when saw Brendan get extremely engrossed and Heath had to pull him back.

"Focus" Heath ordered. Brendan not taking his eyes off the event happening in front of them defended.
"You don't need both of us, why don't you just go, pay for it. Send me the receipt and your information. I'll pay for half and you send me a virtual key. Easy" Brendan crossed his eyes. Seeing that Brendan wasn't going to miss the show relented. Drawing a big sigh and then letting go letting the Johto native enjoy himself as he continued on the journey for shelter. Heath walked off splitting off from Brendan, who quickly joined the mass of people.
"What a troublesome companion." Heath adjusted his backpack and looked at the other groups of people and saw the further he went, the more luxurious the people and pokémon were.
"Why are people looking at me " Piplup chirped on top of Heath's head. Heath was surprised for a second but then realized that Piplup spends so much time on his head that he forgets that a pokémon is always on him.
"Are they?" Heath calmly addressed raising his hand to pet the blue penguin who turned around to slap his hand away with his fins which only caused Heath to laugh harder making his Piplup turn around to hit his head. Causing Heath to duck and then pick up Piplup raising him up with both of his hands.
"You bitch, let me hit you" Piplup tried to continue swinging and Heath ignored the bird opting to remember where the building was until he found the hotel he was looking for.
'Slaking's Throne' Heath read as his C-Gear vibrated. Piplup stopped struggling, and Heath put him down on his head where Piplup pecked at him which Caused him to drop. Holding his head simultaneously squishing the penguin.
"I'm sorry, Im sorry. Let go Let go Let go, Let go" Piplup complained. After a while and hearing a couple of snickers from the distant crowds, the pain soothed and Heath made his way to the entrance of the Hotel. He noticed that the handles were gilded with gold inlays while silver took the rest of the handles surface. He also noticed the higher quality stone that the building was made up of compared to the rest of the buildings.
'Higher priced, more needlessly designed- well everything.' Heath thought as he placed his hands on the cold metal. He opened the door which felt like it had a seal as cold air rushed past his body which gave him and Piplup a slight shiver.
"How do you even get cold. You are supposed to live near water." Heath joked but Piplup just ignored him.
The two of them went into the main lobby which smelt like lavender and looked around to see everyone in looking at him slightly funny. He ignored them and went on to the reception where a man resided. He was bald with a glasses and as soon as he spotted Heath his facial expression dimmed a little but Heath just ignored him.
"Hey, I was previously at different hotel, and they were full, so I came here seeing if you had a room for two separate beds?" Heath smiled at the receptionist who just looked down on his computer ignoring the gesture of friendliness.
"We do not. Our last room was taken by a married couple not too long ago. Sorry for the inconvenience." The receptionist responded distantly. Heath stood there and looked on his Pokégear, his device said they were at the same place and their room was successfully reserved so he looked at the receptionist.
"I have a room reserved here though. I was just told that I needed to pay for it" Heath looked at his C-gear double checking.
"Last name?" The receptionist sighed but seemingly decided to check his computer
"No last name, just Heath" Heath responded.
"Alright, you do have a reserved room for two. I just need you to pay for it as well. Do you have it ready at this instance?" The receptionist sneered. Heath nodded and soon the room was paid for, He had been sent the keys and then he was told about the extra deal that enabled him to get a full course meal during the stay for half of the price of the room but Heath decided to not take it preferring to not spend that much time in his room if he could in the first place. He sent the key and the receipt for the room and decided to see if they had more TM's at the shops he had visited the first time he was here. He left the cold soaked lobby in preference to the outside atmosphere.
Once he left the building, he saw that the street had been crowded a little more as they grouped and a lot of cheers and screams. He didn't see anyone he recognized so he moved on, looking at his Pokégear, sending the receipt and Key to Brendan.
"There, and now to go see what TM's they have th-"
Before Heath could finish his thought, He a shout that seemed to be headed his direction. He turned to left to see if it was coming from the crowd, but when a hand reached out and touched him. His body jumped slightly, before looking behind him and seeing who the offender was.
"It's Heath right, do you remember me, Claire?" The girl who had given him the directions toward Little Root was standing before him plain as day. Her clothes were different, and by her side stood a Oshawott
that was trying to balance its shell on its head while walking behind her.
