《Solitude's Requiem》A Difference in Class

“Congratulations, you've beaten Argillis in quite a confident manner.” Tharnomath says.
'You know, you should really fix your cold tone if you're going to compliment someone.' I simply think not willing to get scolded by Tharnomath.
“What's the next step?” I ask, hiding my excitement.
“You will be fighting me from now on.” He says in a chilled, confident tone.
'****' I curse mentally.
“I see, do you wish to fight today? I'm quite injured, you see.” I say in a desperate attempt.
“Very well, starting from tomorrow we shall duel every 2 days.” He announces as he turns around, calling it a day.
“I trust you will not keep me waiting,” Tharnomath says while leaving.
I shudder as I feel an excruciating amount of pressure upon me.
“Of…of course,” I answer in a defeated voice.
Tharnomath finally leaves my eye of sight as I slump to the ground.
“I'm so dead,” I say to myself, fearing the coming days.
***
*the next day*
I stand once more in the training ground, preparing myself to duel against Tharnomath. I'm scared yet excited as I see him arrive. He looks at me with his 6 golden eyes. There is no doubt, no excitement, only absolute certitude. I felt like an ant in his presence. It enraged me, still, I know the difference in our skills.
“Let us start,” I announce, faking confidence.
“Very well.” He answers in his typical cold tone.
Immediately, I enhance my body using blood magic. My instincts tell me to run, but I know I can't.
'I have to get stronger.' These are the only words I manage to think as Tharnomath makes his move.
A sudden pressure surrounds my body as it feels like gravity itself fights against me. The pain is unbearable, every inch of my body feeling like it's being trampled.

I try to stay on my feet, but the oppressing power is simply too great. I drop to one knee, gritting my teeth in a futile attempt to resist.
'Come on! Not yet! A bit longer!' I yell to myself mentally trying to divert attention from the unimaginable pain.
I look at Tharnomath as I know he's not even serious. He looks into my eyes and simply flicks his hand.
The pressure doubles and I immediately lose consciousness
***
Tharnomath's POV:
“Heal him and lay him in one of the restrooms.”
“Immediately your lordship.” A servant answers.
I keep my eyes on my opponent. A shade demon who's also a reincarnated. Five months ago he truly started training, fighting duels against Argillis. “
“Five months,” I mutter under my breath.
In 5 months he became strong enough to beat a fallen angel, a race known for its strength. In 5 months, he managed to remain conscious for longer than 20 seconds under my aura.
When Ergillaz announced his new plan to me, I thought he went mad. Quite the fool, he has proven me to be.
“How long will it take for him to surpass me? A year? Five Months?” I wonder out loud, seeing nobody within my vicinity.
Tharnomath Talvit, the younger brother of Ergillaz Tavit. Not many surpass me in strength, and in a year that shade demon will probably surpass me. That just raises the question, what about after 100 years? A millennium?
I walk towards my brother's chambers as I was going to report about the reincarnates growth. Coming out of his room, I see an unwelcome sight. A succubus with long black hair past her shoulders and blood-red eyes. Her arms are tattooed as she wears a bright red shirt and black pants that accentuate her voluptuous features.

“What are you doing here, Sorzana?” I ask, irritated as I already know what happened.
“Nothing much, Tharnomath, your brother and I were simply getting reacquainted.” She says in her normal voice that has swooned many.
Sorzana Soquil, the most famous succubus in Lucille's Light. How many demons and devils have fallen for her? Only to get their vitality drained or simply being a slave to her every whim.
We pass each other to avoid further conversation. Entering my brother's room, I get welcomed by the smell of alcohol and sweat as it's clear to see what has transpired.
“For Luciel's wrath Ergilazz, get over her,” I mutter to myself before leaving the room.

But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. Deathless Towers
Transformed & Leveled up! Check for Deathless Dungeoneers. If you enjoyed the first incarnation of this story, you will most likely enjoy its successor more. This story wasn't going the way I wanted, there were too many things wrong about it, and so I gave up that ghost and started over from scratch, keeping only the Cuttlefish of psionic doom, and the magic system. This fiction is no longer supported. Climb. Kill. Become Deathless. Rhen yearns for the magic to save his home realm from the devastating Kavga invasion. To earn that power, he must first survive the trials of the Deathless Guardian. Paired with a psionic cuttlefish from another realm, Rhen must cultivate his spirit to tame magic he’s only dreamed of and conquer his tower to ascend from an expendable recruit. But it’s not just Rhen and his psi-pal looking to join the Deathless guild, and their rivals will stop at nothing to secure a position. If they fail to defeat their tower in time, Rhen will be sent home, dishonored and powerless. Can he fulfill the promise he made long ago and rise a guardian, or will he perish in the trials of the Deathless?

Reincarnated As A Benevolent Tyrant
NOTICE: This story is under rewrite. New novel has been published. Search **RE: Tyranny** in Royalroad for the new novel.Link- Re: Tyranny Thank You! ------------------------ "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." What a brilliant line, isn't it? James was a boy who had nothing to worry about. A happy family, a nice childhood. What's more to ask? But one day, everything changed. He lost everything in the blink of an eye. The only thing left for him were the memories and dreams of the past. Trying to cope up with the loss, he cut all ties with the outside world and became a shut-in, having no one left to call his own or to rely upon. There was nothing left for him in this world, but still he lived and soon found a purpose in his life, which lead him to create something that could change the world. And on the very day when his dream project was about to come to the light, he lost his life, trying to save a little girl from an unfortunate accident. "Will I ever be remembered...? I wish... someone would." These were the last word James mumbled before his conscious faded into darkness. But his life didn't end there, as he is transmigrated into the body of an arrogant, worthless Duke's son in some unknown land with no memories about who is or any idea about where he is. In an era of political turmoil and civil strife, the Duke's son is forced to prove his worth for inheriting the title. Will he be able to accept the new reality and prove himself by leading this country into a prosperous future? Or will he cease to the pressure of his past and lose everything once more? Disclaimer: This is not a power-fantasy or a 'feel-good' story. If you feel a protagonist should never lack agency (especially in early story) or make compromises because of difficult circumstances, then this fiction is probably not for you. It is a story that delves deep into real world sociological/psychological subjects and explores many topics of gray morality. I wrote it because I like stories that make me think more about the world around us, not to detach myself from reality. Some aspects you can expect based on the tags include:- [Kingdom Building]: political drama, geopolitical/geoeconomic strategy- [Army Building]: massive battles featuring in-depth planning, combined arms, and operational logistics- [Identity Crisis]: someone translated into a whole different world having to rebuild their identity and life aims The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but I guarantee you it will get there. For those who want to skip the slow part, start from Chapter - 35 (Beginning of The End) (The whole Disclaimer section is copied from Aorii as I am too busy writing the complete story.) And yes, just for General Knowledge, James will become OP throughout the story. He is not some legendary guy who will pull out Excalibur & conquer the entire world. Update Schedule - One chapter a day. This novel is also available on Scribble Hub. And again, I humbly thank you for reading it. I hope you stick throughout the journey.
