Back To The Present Time Of 4:23 AM, January 29th, 2019
Deshon: So this nigga is not in trouble? Sophia: No, he's not. Justin: I thought you would've gone yandere mode or something. So, if he messes with Brianna or Zoey, he's good. Sophia: I didn't say that now. Justin: That makes no sense. Zea can do anything that she wants to this nigga. But anyone else, it's not okay. Sophia: It's not okay at all. I trust... Sophia drifted off to sleep. Justin: Not again. Sora: Let her sleep. On second thought, allow me to sleep as well. Deshon: Man, I want to know what she would say!
Sora: I can tell you. I trust Sora to resist everyone else. He just has to fight his lust. Now, let us retire for the remaining time we got to sleep. Justin: I saw all that food. I know you can prepare us something real quick. Sora: Sorry, my boy. The best thing I can give you is a cookie. Justin: It's a start. Deshon: The cookie I tried was immaculate. Justin: Is that so? I snapped my fingers and summoned a blue & white cookie jar with Sophia kissing a chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter cookie. I took off the top and presented it to Justin. He took one soft chocolate chip cookie out. Justin: Sir, what's with all of this? Sora: All of what?
Justin: I see Sophia and your faces everywhere. The blanket, the shirt, the bags, custom cases. And now a damn cookie jar. Sora: It's only some of our merch. The blanket is the only one of its kind. Well, there are three of them. But that's beside the point. Just eat the damn cookie. Justin: Better live up to my high expectations. Justin eats the cookie. He had this delighted expression. Justin: This cookie is really soft. The chocolate really has a rich taste to it. It's pretty chewy. Surprisingly I don't need anything to wash it down with it. You did a great job with this cookie. You've met my expectations. Is this your best work? Sora: It's hard to say, but I would say I did a great job. Justin: My expectations for you are even higher.
Sora: Whenever I'm allowed to serve you food again. I promise to live up to your expectations. Justin: Good to hear. Get some rest; you'd earn it. Deshon: How're your blue balls treating you, kid? Sora: Meme of the year, shut the hell up before I toss you out of this room. Deshon: Struck a nerve? Justin: Shut the hell up nigga, you got a damn scouter. Deshon: Shut your skinny ass up; I will break you like a damn twig. Justin: I have a higher rating than you bitch. Get on my level, short ass nigga. Deshon: Shut your long-legged ass up.
I hear someone coming up the stairs, and it's Bale at the doorway. Bale: I heard yelling, and you said you were going to retire. Do I need to escort these two out? Justin: Touch me. I will summon my familiar. Bale: Oh, you mean Meghan. Justin: You know Alecto? Bale: Of course, I know that ineffective familiar. She wasn't strong enough for master Blue. Triple-A and lower-rated familiars are useless. Justin: It doesn't matter. She can be helpful to me. Sora over here doesn't want to help her develop. Bale: Is that what she told you?

Justin: Yeah. Bale: Do you know why she's useless at the high level? Justin: Why? Bale: It's because... Sora: Bale speak no more of this conversation. Justin: Nah, bruh, let her speak. I want to hear this alleged truth. Sora: Forget about it, enjoy your familiar. Bale: Please enjoy that useless familiar; her knowledge can almost be replaced by a computer; even my young master teacher can beat Alecto. Justin kept a solemn expression and started to walk off. I covered my hand with a dark lavender firey aura, then I clenched my fingers. Bale suddenly ascended four feet off the ground. Bale grabs at her neck and starts kicking wildly in the air. Bale: Young master, please let go!
Justin: What the heck? Sora: Bale. I gave you simplistic directives. Bale, why did you disobey me? Bale, when I'm articulating to you, one foresees a damn answer. Bale: I'm sorry! Master, I can't breathe. Sora: Are you making an excuse? I didn't ask you that you can't breathe. I find my faith in your abilities is diminishing, Bale. Justin: Sora, release her. Sora: As you wish. I finally unclenched my fist, and the dark lavender aura around it dissipated. Bale dropped to her knees, gasping for air. Bale: Forgive me for disobeying you. I covered my left hand with a dark lavender firey aura, then I put my hand forward and reached out, making a claw-like gesture. Bale levitated across the room until her neck was in my hand and began strangling her. I gaze into her fearful expression. Bale: I'm sorry! Sora: There's no need to repeat yourself. Deshon: Let her go. You've proved your point. Bale slowly closes her eyes. Justin: Release her. Sora: Know your place, Bale. I dropped her to her knees. She recovered off the ground and escorted Justin and Deshon out of the room.
Well, that's done. I don't think there's any point in going to sleep at this point. Bale almost revealed the truth about lower-class familiars.
I removed Sophia's arms around me and placed her head on the pillow. As I left her bedside, she'd grabbed my right hand. I turned around, and Sophia laid down facing right of the bed facing me. Sophia: Get in bed. Sora: I think I'll pass on sleeping mi vida. Sophia: Querido. Ven a la cama. Duerme conmigo. Sora: Fine, it's not like I have to wake up earlier than you. I held her hand and gave it a quick peck. Next, I got in the bed from the other side. Sophia turned to me and held my hand. I reached over to her and started playing with her messy long blonde hair. After a few moments, Sophia and I went to sleep.
I opened my eyes; I was on a beach with the sunsetting. Deshon, Justin, De'Niro, Valdis are in black suits walking towards me. All of them have this gleeful expression. They looked at me; Valdis and Justin reached out and helped me up. I noticed I was in an Italian cyan silk suit. All of us walked to the shallow water and gazed at the unfalling sunset that painted the sky in a pale tint of lavender. The guys glanced behind them, and De'Niro summons his water staff. Justin brings out his katana, Deshon and Valdis start cracking their knuckles. I turned back, and everything was pitch black. There's no light. I walked around for a while, then I stumbled upon a well-lit castle made of ice.

Hours after exploring the castle, I walked inside the throne room made of ice. An older Valencia wears a short black dress with black leggings with no shoes. She also has a cyan diamond tiara on her head and a black and cyan braided ponytail. She sits on the throne with this satisfied expression. Valencia got up and levitated to me. She'd wrapped her arms around me. Valencia: Our time hasn't come yet, Blue. I will wait for you, it doesn't matter how long it is. And remember, Naomi and Naminé, they will always love you. But don't be gone for too long. Alright? We kissed each other passionately. Valencia: I wish you would've taken me on a date during our first year. But anyway, see you later and please don't be gone for twenty years. She covered my eyes.
I opened my eyes when I couldn't feel her hand anymore. The world is still covered in dark magic. I see Justin, De'Niro, Deshon bodies covered in a dark lavender mist. They appear ready to fight this six-foot-seven black-figured surrounded in black fog. I can't see none of his facial features or clothing. Justin starts yelling with passion on his face, but it's inaudible. The three took a quick glimpse at me then focused their attention on the mysterious figure. The mysterious figure began powering up with this thunderous demonic roar. Deshon, De'Niro, Justin were brought to their knees. The mysterious figure turns his attention to me. He gestured to come to him. Then he pointed at me.
I felt a surge of darkness like never before. I can feel the anger, the hate, the suffering, and some remains of love. He started releasing more of his darkness. I started to suffocate; I started walking towards him. The more I got closer to him, the more I could breathe. I end up reaching him. He gestured to shake his hand. Being this close to him brings this nostalgic feeling. I kinda feel like I know him. I shook his hand. I felt power like never before. I discern evil, but some remnants of good. The mysterious figure let go of my hand. And then instantly punched through my torso and lifted me up in the air. He stabs me with his fingers through my chest and grabs my heart. And my whole body is rapidly being covered with black mana. I started banging on his arm, but I couldn't swing at him. The black mana manifested into liquid and started pouring out of my mouth. I started to suffocate. My vision is getting dimmer and dimmer. Justin: Wake up! Valencia: Sky. Valencia helped Justin back up. Valencia: Sora, blink your eyes. I blinked my eyes rapidly.
I woke up, and I saw Valdis holding me. And Justin is to my left side on the bedroom floor. Sora: What happened? Did I fall off the bed? Justin: No nigga, you made things go crazy! You got us running for our lives in the living room. These hellhounds made of dark magic tried to kill us! Luckily nobody was hurt. I have to give thanks to Bale for that. Valdis: Are you okay? Sora: Yeah. Wait a minute Sophia! I got up and saw Sophia still sleeping. Sora: What time is it? Justin checked his watch. Justin: It's five-forty in the morning.
Sora: Well, it was time for me to get up anyway. Valdis: Were you having a nightmare? Sora: I don't know how to answer that. So did everyone else have an encounter with it? Valdis: Not to my knowledge. Sora: I'm sorry for the trouble. Valdis: It was looking back on it. Seeing those creeping-looking hellhounds was a great way to start off the morning. Sora: Justin, sorry for the trouble. Justin: I need some compensation after the shit I just went through. I have to save that nigga Deshon multiple times. I snapped my fingers and summoned a blue & black plastic doughnut box with Sophia kissing a glazed doughnut. Sora: These here are my best doughnuts. Nothing but the best ingredients. What you two are about to taste is something legendary, Sophia is addicted to these, so I can't whip these out all of the time. Valdis: I get a doughnut as well? Sora: Yep. I opened the box. Both of them grabbed the doughnuts and bumped doughnuts, and took one bite of it. Valdis dropped to the ground, Justin took a knee. They look at each other with a mixture of shock and astonishment expression. Justin: Is this the power of a god?! Valdis: I never thought food could reach this level! I shall call him lord Chef! Justin and Valdis finish their doughnuts. I snapped my fingers to make the box disappear. Valdis gave me a massive hug. Valdis: You're the best. Justin: Who needs a woman to cook when we got this man. Valdis: I love you, bro. Zoey and Peyton walked up the stairs then to the bedroom doorway. Zoey: Do ya'll need a moment? Valdis: Morning. Valdis quickly let go of me. Justin: Peyton, where's the food? Sora is already done. Peyton: Let me start cooking. Justin: What are we having? Peyton: Waffles. Justin: That's it?!

Note: Slight edits to early chapters (and removal of one chapter - previously chapter 2) have been made 2/2/21 The city, my city, had once been alive in a way that was hard to describe. Thriving, active, hopeful. Vibrant. But life, as I had come to learn, sometimes possesses only the most tenuous of grasps. Finally, in the end, it became my city - mine alone. I was, after all, the only one left. Worse, it was entirely my fault. There was red in my ledger that could never be wiped clean. Not while I still lived, anyway. This story follows Eran, a man who became the opposite of everything he had ever wanted to be; in a world where superpowers began to appear in a rare few, his lack of control over his own power relegated him to the role of a terrible villain - the Reaper, named so for the countless lives that he absorbed and made his own, each only furthering his deadly lack of control. Gone mad with guilt and isolation, he strove for a single heroic act - his own demise. Death was less permanent than he hoped. Centuries later, he woke to a changed world and in a body not his own. Unfortunately, his power came with him. Yet this time, things would be different. This time, he had a chance to bring it under control. He could never truly make up for the things he had done; he could never achieve redemption. That wouldn't stop him from trying to be a hero. I wrote until my fingers hurt from typing and I wrote until my hands were stained with ink.For me, putting feelings into words has always made me feel better, or helped me understand what I was going through. I believe in the healing and therapeutic power of writing. And so, I wrote poems. Poems that I want to share with the world. This is the collection of the poetry that I wrote so far. The poems that may be written in the future, after the collection is out, will also be uploaded.
