Peyton: You monster! I gazed at the jawless Nicholas; I dropped him and then reached down and ripped off a patch of his clothing and wiped my face and hands. I noticed all the remaining blood on me. I then froze all the blood on me. And I then wiped all the blood-stained ice off me. I noticed Nicholas's body started twitching. I put my left foot on Nicholas's face, and I crushed it. Nicholas' exposed squashed brain and eyes were the only things still recognizable. Most of the pieces of his skull were scattered; the remainder lay inside of Nic's brain.

Peyton is on the ground in horror. Something shiny on the grass caught my eye. I see Peyton's red glasses. I went over there and picked them up, and I went to Peyton, who was still on the ground crying; I tried to give them to her, but she smacked them out of my hand. Peyton: You monster! Why did you kill him!? He was a good person! The lavender and black aura that surrounded the entire area, and my body went away. Sora: Something was off about him; he had this hidden malice, and his mana felt really off. Peyton: And you murdered him just off of that!? That's bullcrap! He did nothing to nobody! All He said was, "Hey bae!" that's all. Why do you like hurting people so much?! Was he too good-looking for you!? Was it out of jealousy?! Sora: Wait, I'm jealous of what?! Peyton: You're jealous of how Nicholas and I operated! You envy my relationship because yours suck! Sora: Peyton, I wasn't out of hate or envy. I've never heard of the guy since Kane mentioned him to Maina. And I didn't even know you had someone. So how could I be jealous of something if I wasn't aware!

Peyton: Shut up! You don't know how I feel! What would happen if I killed Sophia?! I lifted Peyton by the throat and gave her a death stare. Sora: I dare you to lay one finger on her! And see what happens to you! Look, I apologize for killing your boyfriend! It wasn't out of hate. It was my job! He felt suspicious of me, and I couldn't take a chance. I would rather be cautious than be reckless. Sora: I'll leave you here, to grief. But if you want revenge, then take my life if you can. I don't mind. Just leave Sofia out of it. Got that?! Peyton: Go screw yourself! Sora: I will bring victory and glory to her majesty as her vice-captain. My body was covered in a shimmering blue radiance; my attire changed into a midnight purple suit with a royal-purple waistcoat, a black ascot, and royal purple gloves. My white oxford shoes were switched out with black oxford shoes. And I have a baldric black leather belt attached to my waist with my royal black and white ray skin on the katana handle. My blade rested in its royal purple scabbard with the golden crown logo on the center of the scabbard.

Julia flew out of the skybox and landed right in front of Peyton. Peyton: Julia, help me kill him! Julia: Peyton, on a scale of one through ten, how incompetent are you? Peyton: What? Julia: Peyton, have you learned nothing?! You have to stay calm at all times. Examine the facts, and get rid of your worries and fears. Peyton: What are you talking about!? Julia: That wasn't the real Nicholas you, Dodo! Peyton: What are you saying!? Julia: Do you remember, like forty minutes ago, Kane stated that Nicholas was about to be killed on Championship Island? And Maina left in a hurry; if that was the real Nicholas, then where's Maina. Because you know Maina is coming back here. Nicholas is supposed to be with Maina right now. Peyton: No way! That was the real Nicholas! Julia: How did Sora find out that wasn't the real one when he had never met or seen him before. Sora: Is mana really felt off, and he had this hidden malice that made my body scream at me.

Julia: Peyton, your tears are for nothing. And plus, if that was the real Nick, don't you think his uniform would've sustained any damage, and he had no injuries. Kane said he would be killed in thirty seconds if Maina didn't get there in time. So do you get it!? Nick is not dead. Peyton: If that wasn't Nick, then who was it? Wyatt: It was a ghoul in disguise! Sora: Why are you telling us this? Aren't you part of the Renegades? Wyatt: Yes, I am. And that ghoul is just a mindless little foot soldier for the Renegades. The reason why I'm telling you this is because of that delicious burger you gave me. Consider this as my thanks. Sora: And thank you for the info. We won't pressure you to give us more information.

Julia: Peyton, are you going to stay here? Or come back to the comfort of the skybox. Peyton: Juli, can we talk in private? Julia: No, problem. Sora: I'll take that as my cue to leave. I flew back to the skybox. And everyone chattering in their own groups. De'Niro, Brianna, and Deshon were talking by the patio. Justin, Nia, Valencia, Noami, and Electra are by the left corner of the bar. Sophia, Mia, Ace are talking on the couches. Andre, Benson, Zoey are talking at the bar. I went over to Sophia and the rest.

Sophia: Sora, are you back to normal? Sora: Yep! Sophia: These two here are mega fans of ours. Mia: I'm a huge fan. Like honestly, I love almost every song. Sora: What song you don't like? Sophia: To be honest, I didn't really like working with Jardi V. Our styles didn't mix well like that.

Sora: I felt like you jumped the gun when she came to the estate and asked you to do a couple of songs with her. Sophia: It was an American rapper. I had to take the chance. I gained so many fans because of the collaboration. So it had its benefits. Sora: Mia, what's your favorite song when we're a duo. Mia: That's so tough! I love Heart For Tomorrow, I Hate She's Crazy, He Lost His Mind, and Wait For My Love. What about you, Ace? Ace: Umm, I have to say, We're Both Trouble, Beloved's Pain, Why Not Have A Good Time, The Perfect Performance. Sora: Nobody talks about Perfect Performance. Ace: I think it's one of your best. It's really underrated! Sora: Thanks. I always thought it was a failure of sorts.

Justin walks over, and he looks like he has something to say. Justin: I overheard y'all talking about these two songs. Sophia: And?! Justin: Don't worry, I've been listening to ya'll music. And I have to say I'm impressed with it. Sophia & Sora: Thank you. Sophia: Coming from you, that means a lot. Justin: What's that supposed to mean? Sora: I didn't think you really listened to our music. And I thought you would have a very different taste to enjoy our music. You seem very critical when you listen to music. Justin: Oh, really. I just thought of something. How about one of yall perform? Ace: I would love to watch that! Mia: I could die happy seeing one of them perform! Sophia: I think you should perform Sky. I think you'll do better than me when it comes to a small crowd.

Sora: Oh, you think so. But I would like to see your performance. Since the last time I heard you singing seriously, it's been a while. Sophia: Umm, okay. I guess I'll perform. But what about the warlock outside!? Justin: That's what I've been saying. Sora: As long as both sides don't engage, then we're fine. And plus, I need this downtime to recover some mana. And listening to music is an excellent way to relax and recover mana. Sophia: Alright, you lazy bum. I guess you deserve a rest and a performance out of me. Since someone won't let me fight.

Sora: Exactly! Sophia: I hate you. What song should I perform? Justin: How about Luna's Crazy Tonight? Sophia: Okay, I guess. But why that song? Justin: The only version I found when you sang the song was a low-quality recorded live stream. Ace: You should've seen it live! It was amazing! Mia: It's not one of her best, but it is still a really good song. Justin: I'm not looking for her best song; I'm looking at what her typical song is like. And I'm primarily interested in hearing this song in a better quality since there's no official release for it. Sophia: Alright, it's been a while, so I guess I have fun with it. Sora, I need the equipment. Sora: Umm, there's a problem. I packed it up back at the crib. Sophia: Dang it! Not even a mic?! Sora: I polished it up, then I never put it back. Sora: I think I can work something out.

Two Minutes Later

After two minutes of technical difficulties, I managed to get two big white speakers connected to Justin's phone, and I got Sophia a mic that would work with the speakers. Justin is on standby, ready to play, and the instrumental is ready to be played when Sophia gives the ready.

Sophia: Before I start the song. I like to say thanks for lending me your ears. Justin, start it up.

Sophia takes a deep breath and begins singing. She'd looked uncomfortable at first, then she slowly fell into the zone as the song continued on. Me, Ace, Mia, Nia, Bri, De'Niro, Deshon, Andre, Benson, Zoey, and even Valencia were cheering on Sophia. Justin looks somewhat impressed by her performance. I went over to Justin on the edge of the couch.

Sora: So, how is she? Justin: She has piqued my interest. Like I thought initially, her voice has range, the song is good. Sora: Anything else? Justin: She looks like she's having fun with it. Sora: Any criticism? Justin: She needs to try harder. I feel like nobody pushes her. Her voice is being held back. If I was y'all producer, I would make sure that both of you reached ya'll full potential and then some. Sora: Is that so? Justin: Absolutely.

Sora: Any criticism for me? Justin: Well, you're good most of the time, but you could do way better. Sora: How so? Justin: Half of your songs are sad and make people rethink their life. And the others are fun, but you don't go all out with the fun songs. Sora: So you're saying I'm lazy or unmotivated. Justin: Not precisely. It feels like you could do better with the right push. And I feel like some of your sad songs, you don't go the distance with them. You would have a strong beginning to it. Or you be decent for most of the song, then be great at the end.

Sora: So, do you think you could make me better? Justin: If I'm your producer, then yeah. Sora: Do you have any experience in that area? Justin: I'm just that guy. I bet this on Deshon's life. Sora: Don't bet on a guy that's probably going to die in the next fight he's in, just kidding. I like Deshon; he's fun to be around. He's like a Dodo bird, in a way. Justin: But on a serious note, just give me a thirty-day try-out. Sora: That won't be necessary; you're hired. Justin: Just like that. Don't you need to discuss that with your girlfriend/master? Sora: I'm still my own person, and I can make decisions like this without her permission. And plus, I make decisions like this all the time.

Justin: If you say so. Sorry to change the subject but do you think it is wise to be doing this right now? Like we should be focusing on the potential battle that might come. Sora: I agree with you one hundred percent. We should be mentally prepared for it. I could think about every scenario that could happen, or I could be relaxing and listening to Sofia singing. Hopefully, I can rest a little bit more. Justin: Then take a nap, then nigga. Sora: But I don't feel comfortable sleeping. It scares me. What happens if I'm a second late to stop any threat to Sofia. It gives me so much anxiety just thinking about it.

Justin: So, do you think Valdis is still fighting? Sora: One hundred percent that they're still fighting. Justin: Why so sure? It looked like to me he was getting thrashed by his opponent. Sora: As long as Valdis maintains his mana, he won't be killed so easily. But if I have to fight again, hopefully, he can come back and help. I don't think I'm going to survive my next battle. It feels like I'm at my limit. Justin: Whatever you do, don't die. Sophia, already thought you were dead. I'm not going back to that. And hasn't been a full day since you came back to Rowan Academy. Sora: I thank you for watching over her; I know she's a massive handful. And plus, don't worry, I'll give whoever is my enemy hell on Earth before I allow them to kill me.

Justin: Such confidence. Sora: Oh, she's done. Everyone in the skybox applauded Sophia's performance. She turned off the mic and placed it on the coffee table. And sped walk to Justin and me. Sophia: So how was I? Justin: You met expectations, but a lot of work needs to be done. Have I mentioned that I'm a music producer, I can make y'all better? Sophia: All right then. You're hired. Show us what you got later. Sora: I already hired him while doing your marvelous performance. Sophia: Oh, cool. Justin: Just like that? You're angry at him for making a decision like this without you. Sophia: Nope, he regularly makes decisions for us or for me. Sora is more than any servant. He's my everything; if he wants to hire you for a small matter like this, Sora could do whatever he wants.

Sora: Remember, Justin, we're mages first; almost everything is second. Music is just a stress reliever for us. Even though we take it very seriously, it just doesn't compare to what we want to do as mages. Justin: I got it. Sora: How were your nerves? Sophia: It was stressful, then it became easier. I never performed by myself with a crowd like this. So this was something new for me to handle. Sora: Do you think you got the hang of it? Sophia: It would be a lie if I said yes. But Nah, I still get nervous, but I'm mostly fine when I get into it. The only thing I worry about is forgetting lyrics and how's my voice. Sky, be honest. How was my voice? Sora: It was solid, but it's your usual greatness. So, you get a B+. Because I know you can perform better than that. Sophia: That's not too bad. I haven't been practicing in over two weeks now. I just need to start back practicing seriously, not just being a filthy casual.

Sora: Well, technically, we don't need to perform anymore. Since our new album is dropping on Thursday. And we gave them a bunch of songs last year. So the fans should be satisfied for quite a while now. Someone began knocking on the door. Sophia: I got this one, Sky. Take a rest; you deserve it. Sora: I can still do my job, have a superstar seat. The knocking kept on persisting. Sophia had a seat on the couch. Justin went back to Nia; I walked to the door and opened it.

There's this average size guy with pale yellowish skin. He has green streaks going down his eyes. Then I noticed he had an entourage of people with black skull masks and black robes on. All of them are way taller than me, and I'm six feet. The guy with the pale yellowish smile at me and the green streaks became black. Then he looked at who was in the room and raised the thumbs up.

Then he and his whole entire entourage released their mana pressure. The backside of the entourage is weaker but in the middle and the front. Their mana presence sent me into fear.

These people, without a shadow of a doubt! There ghouls! They gotta be like twenty-eight people with him and black streak ghoul that makes twenty-nine ghouls. Nick was a ghoul. So that makes thirty. I can't take them on; we have to get away!

I used wind magic to blow everyone who was not a ghoul outside the skybox. The ghouls all walked in. With the black streaks going down his eyes, the ghoul began laughing. He yelled, "Let the fun begin!"

I grabbed Electra in mid-air and then Sophia. We fell down to the stone tablet platform. I put down Electra and told Valencia to give me Naomi. Then I put both of them inside of a bubble of light.

Wyatt: Ezra! It took long enough! I was wondering if you were going to show. Shorty suddenly pops up from the rubble. Shorty: That was a good nap! But time to get to some killing! Sora was it?! You messed up big time! You made Kane really angry! Now he wants to kill everything in his sight! Kane rose from the ground, and his hair turned white. Then let out this roar that sounded like some kind of beast. Kane's muscles doubled by size; his eyes turned black and yellow. Then he made two giant golden club maces into both of his hands. Then Kane let out a mightier roar than last time. The west side of the stadium crumbled just in seconds. Then one of the ghouls with the skull masks flew over to Shorty and Kane. Then all three released their mana pressure and pulverized the stadium into rubble just in a matter of seconds. Only rubble and grass can be seen. The only thing part of the stadium is the skybox that's riddled with cracks, and the stone tablet platform still remained primarily intact. Shorty's orange aura surrounded him; Kane's white aura basically became part of his skin. The ghoul with the skull mask had a black aura that wrapped around him.

I noticed that Deshon, Justin, Bri, De'Niro. We're all on the ground, face down. Peyton and Benson's knees begin to shake as she struggles to stay upright. Zoey's hands can't stop shaking. Mia, Nia, Ace, Andre, Sophia all remained on their feet but with concerned looks on them. Julia, Valencia are unbothered by it but have stern expressions.

My hands feel cold. So many strong enemies! Shorty has to be at least an S-class mage. Kane's power spiked; I initially thought he was a Triple A-class mage. But now he's definitely an S-class or maybe higher. And this ghoul scares me! I hate how their mana pattern feels! It feels disgusting and barbaric! The ghoul has to be an SS-class mage. I don't have enough mana to take all of them down! I have to get everyone to safety.

Sora: Everyone, don't worry! I got this! I recovered most of my mana! You guys can just watch the fun and relax! I can take all of them on! I summoned my grimoire that was coated with a dark purple aura. I'd increase the size of my grimoire to the size of a door. I moved the bubble where Naomi and Electra are in and pushed them through the pages, then I grabbed Valencia and pushed her in there. I grabbed Deshon, Bri, Justin and tossed them inside of the grimoire. Peyton, Zoey,Benson, Mia, Nia, Ace, Andre, Julia went inside of the grimoire on their own accord. Sophia looks at me with concern and fear in her eyes.

Sophia: Are you lying? Did you recover your mana? And don't lie to me! She says this as tears start to fall from her face. Sora: No, don't be silly! I wouldn't lie to you. Just watch my performance as I watch yours. After I kill them all, I will return to you. Tienes mi palabra! Sophia: Deja que te ayude, te amo tanto! Please don't leave me alone again! Sophia began crying up a storm. Sora: I love you. Volveré por ti, lo prometo! Just say I know you will. The sooner you go in, the sooner I'll kill all of them. She gave me a quick embrace and a kiss on the cheek and ran inside of the grimoire. As she ran in, I made my grimoire disappear.

All of the skull mask ghouls hop down from the skybox. Shorty, Kane, and the skull mask ghoul on their side started coming after me.

To be honest, I had to lie to them. I don't want anyone to die. This will be my final stand. I won't be using my grimoire, so it's going to be in the bunker of the crib. So everyone will be safe once my grimoire burns away after I die. Everyone will be safe. But sadly, I know they're watching me because they’re using the familiar camera to see me. Please don't watch me die, Sophia; I know it will be painful. Naomi, Electra, I'm sorry, but I'm going to fail as a father that can't come home alive like my father before me. I have twenty-five percent left of my mana, so I have to be smart about this. I highly don't think they will allow me to do a spell that takes a long to complete. Justin, be a good producer for my Sofia. Peyton, please look after the Twilight Tigers. I know I did wrong in your eyes, but please grant me that wish.

I'm completely surrounded by all sides, so this will be interesting. Deshon, I wasted my mana on you. So please don't die for nothing. All right, it's time to send these bastards to hell.

Sora: Crimson Fire Magic: Hell Fist! I set my right hand ablaze, rushed at Shorty, and attempted a superman punch, but Kane swatted me down with both his maces that landed right in the mid-section. The maces ended up making me bleed a bunch in my mid-section.
