Magic Duel Arc.

The crowd was cheering with great excitement and joy at amazed at another great deal.

"YAAY!!!"

"What a fantastic duel"- The crowd discusses with each astounded by the quality and magic that they have witnessed today.

Biatrix and Selina could not be any happier than they are right now.

"We won!"-Selina yells in joy, hugging Biatrix while simultaneously laughing.

" Yes, we did. I am so proud for the both of us"-Biatrix replies also laughing not as heavily as Selina's laughter, however.

Both Selina and Biatrix make their way back to Valoran, Artemsia and Atticus, who are all waiting for them in the student seating area section of the arena.

They arrive and are met with compliments from their team.

"You two were amazing!"-Atticus says in excitement.

" Great job you two."-Artemsia complimenting both of them.

"Great job you two. You showed us that when you two work together, you are unstoppable. I am also beyond impressed at just how advanced your magic has become. "-Valoran says filled with pride for them both.

" We couldn't have done it without both of your guidance"-Selina says bowing her head in gratitude.

Biatrix is also bowing her head in gratitude toward Valoran and Artemsia.

"Please. No need to thank us. It's you who has the gifts. We just draw them out"-Artemsia replies with a smile on her face.

"Biatrix, Selina we only show you the magic. We show you how to best use them in combat, but using them in actual combat is different than in practice. Well done for your judgments and team working skills. "-Valoran says in a praising tone of voice.

Selina and Biatrix begin to smile at each other when...

" However..."- Valoran says now in a far stricter tone.

Biatrix and Selina's smiles are gone in an instant.

They look tense and nervous toward Valoran and Artemsia.

"At the beginning your performance was terrible. You argued you were in each other's way and you couldn't harmonize."-Valoran says in a disciplined tone of voice.

Biatrix and Selina's expressions dramatically change from tense and nervous to disappointing expressions.

"We know that guilt fills my mind"-Selina says with an upsetting tone.

"I am the guilty one. I was so focused on defeating those two with my own hands that I disregarded the importance of trust and teamwork"-Biatrix says with an uneasy and upset tone of voice.

Valoran is pleased with the fact that both manage to see their faults.

"I am pleased to see your maturity and realisation of your mistakes. Besides, you have managed to turn this around and obtained a victory."- Valoran speaks with a praising tone.

"Atticus what is the matter with you?"-Artemsia asks with concern.

Valoran, Biatrix and Selina face Atticus.

They see that Atticus' expression has shame and negativity written all over it.

" I was so weak. I am not worthy of being in this group. I made a fool out of myself. Crying and being afraid not only did my family watch this embarrassment. You people did...The entire school did... The entire arena did...The entire capital did. "-Atticus says with a saddened tone of voice.

Valoran gets closer to Atticus. Valoran towering over Atticus.

Valoran puts his right arm on his shoulders.

"Don't be an idiot."-Valoran says with a strong tone.

Atticus looks up at Valoran.

"Kanan was an opponent you couldn't beat not because you lacked the potential or capabilities. The reason was that Kanan used cruel methods, Methods affecting your mind using a powerful weapon...Fear. Fear is the greatest enemy to anyone, Especially mages (magic-users) if fear takes over your mind the magic you create is severely weakened if fear absolutely dominates your mind, magic becomes almost impossible to use, magic requires focus and concentration to maintain your connection with your fragment as it contains your magic power, he used fear to temporarily cut off that connection. If anyone is to blame for your loss it's me, I should have trained you better in resisting mind manipulation."- Valoran says with a saddened tone.

" However, this will change. I will become stronger I will become someone not only you but my family can be proud of"- Atticus says with confidence in his voice, Atticus' fighting spirit is burning brighter than ever before.

Valoran and his team are now paying attention to the narrator and commentator.

" After this first day of the magic duel between Halivaara and Halivaara's second academy. The score is 23:3. Which is a new record. Never before in the history of the magic duels has ever been a lead established on the First Day!-The narrator says with excitement. Well...This became a reality with year 1A student group 1 leader Valoran Silver. He managed to defeat Kanan (human) a first-year student, Lorian, Lorean (both elves) and Merial (human) who are all Third-year students with a child as his partner with seemingly no effort. Granting him 20 points alone"-The commentator says in excitement.

"What is he?" "This magic-user is the most powerful being I've seen" "His strength holding up that meteor was impressive" "Not only that but all four of them increased the gravity by 100 times" -The audience says to each other some in shock and others in excitement.

"Looks like you've become famous Valoran" -Artemsia says jokingly.

"Maybe I went a little overboard perhaps I should have faced Kanan without Merial and the others well... demonstrating my power should help me in pursuit of becoming the Magic King."- Valoran thought to himself.

" Tomorrow. The final member of Group 1 for class 1A Artemsia will be the one facing off against year 1 group B student Demonlise."- The narrator announced with excitement.

"Artemsia please rise from your seat for everyone to see." - The narrator asks sincerely.

Artemsia rises from her seat and begins to wave toward the narrator.

"Thank you Artemsia you may sit back down"-The narrator says kindly.

He then moves on to call upon her opponent.

" Demonlise please show yourself to the audience."-The narrator says.

A boy with brown hair gets up from his seat and starts to wave and bows his head.

"So this is my opponent? There is something about him."-Artemsia says curiously.

" You feel it too?"-Valoran replies also filled with curiosity.

"What is it?"-Atticus questions with worry.

" His magic and his aura are powerful. More powerful than any normal human, I've never met a human with that magic aura surrounding him interesting-Valoran says to his teammates with a little excitement.

"I can't wait to see what this one has in store for me tomorrow" -Artemsia says with anticipation.

"Thank you all for watching and gathering here today this was a great first day and tomorrow these great duels will continue"-The narrator announces with joy.

With the first day concluded Professor Asparata gathers our class and exists the arena at the nearest exit.

" Let's go everyone right this way "-Professor Asparata instructing us to leave our seating area.

We make our way through one of the many tunnels leading outside the arena back to the academy.

We arrived at the academy Professor Asparata making sure all the students are in attendance.

" Seems everyone is here great first-day Valoran thanks to you we got a huge lead."-Professor Asparata says with happiness.

"I had no idea he was this strong" " Talk about showing off" "I mean he did score us a huge lead" -The other students are muttering among each other.

Valoran is completely unphased by the comments and ignores them all.

"It was all of my team who made this lead happen the credit isn't my own to claim"-Valoran replies to professor Asparata.

Professor Asparata lets the students go after she made sure all the students are in attendance.

Valoran and Artemsia are about to depart home when...

A classmate walked up to Valoran the classmate looked at Valoran with an intense look on his face.

He then reaches his hand out to shake Valoran's hand.

Valoran is caught off guard... he then shakes the student's hand.

"Thank you Valoran, thanks to your power and skill we have managed to gain a strong lead, I apologise for all the rumours and dark thoughts that are still present at this academy about you"-The student said with sincerity.

Valoran who has never met praise from anyone other than his friends and mother is caught off guard.

"Those don't bother don't worry about the rumours I appreciate your thanks you are the first student here to thank me"-Valoran replied with a tiny smile.

With that Valoran then turned around and left the academy grounds with his friends.

" Good bye" -Selina says with a bright smile on her face walking away and heading home.

"Bye everyone," Atticus says with a smile also walking home.

Biatrix also smiles and starts to walk home.

Valoran and Artemsia said their goodbyes and start heading home as well.

"Artemsia I advise caution for tomorrow's battle that students aura was powerful you also sensed it"-Valoran says warning Artemsia.

"I will be fine, I don't think that boy is the type to show off his powers and be too aggressive after all, no one else seemed to notice that powerful aura he must conceal his aura just like we do." -Artemsia explains.

"I guessed as much we can break that concealment of his because of our powerful magic eyes which are infinitely times stronger than any regular mortal magic eye."-Valoran explains.

Walking through the capital Valoran and Artemsia notice how everyone was staring at Valoran and whispering about him.

" Hey that's the one who took down 4 mages at the same time"

"My my he looks scary, to be honest"

"I wouldn't say that his appearance is scary but rather handsome"

"Stay away from them"

The Lantia family (Everlyn Lantia

Mary Lantia and Vedika Lantia) arrive at their home and walk inside.

They notice a large pouch filled with gold pieces on the table with a note.

"Mother there is a pouch filled with gold"-Mary says to her mother with a thrilling voice.

Everlyn quickly rushes to Mary.

"Where did it come from?"-She asks in confusion.

"There is also a note with it"-Mary says curiously.

Mary picks up the note and begins to read:

"Today's victory was only possible because of your cooperation as a thank you I have created this pouch filled with 200 gold pieces.

Valoran Silver"

"Valoran what a kind man you are"-Everlyn says with gratitude.

They eventually arrive home where Aelina (Valoran's mother) eagerly awaits for them to arrive home.

Valoran and Artemsia enter the home where they are met with Aelina cheering because of Valoran's success.

"You two are finally home!"- Aelina screams in joy running toward Valoran and Artemsia.

" You are a magic genius my son"-Aelina says.

Artemsia chuckles...

"Is that so?..." -Valoran asks.

"Come on let's celebrate your Victory with a feast"-Aelina says.

Valoran smiles a little...

"Alright then"- Valoran says.

The sun has almost set and it is getting late.

(In the divine realm)

King Daimos (King of the gods) sits on his throne when he is interrupted by an angel servant.

" My Lord I bring urgent news"-The angel says.

"What is it"-King Daimos asks.

" A mortal named Valoran Silver has demonstrated magic powers that were similar to the latest magic king."-The angel said.

King Daimos begins to chuckle which eventually turns to laughter.

"Is that so? Well then let's see how powerful this Valoran Silver is"-King Daimos says.

" Shall we send angels after him?"-The angel servant asked.

"No that would be too hasty. For now, send them to maintain an eye on him..."-King Daimos instructed.

" Yes, my liege."-The angel said bowing in front of King Daimos and leaving the throne room.

(In the Mortal Realm)

Valoran, Aelina and Artemsia have celebrated Valorans victory and are getting ready for bed.

"Good night"-Valorans says heading for his room and calling it a night.

The next morning Artemsia, Valoran and Aelina are heading straight to the arena for the second day of the magic duels.

" Let's go"-Valoran says to Artemsia and Aelina.

With that Valoran and Artemsia make their way to the arena.

When they arrive at the capital they can see many people also heading for the arena to heading for the arena.

Once they arrive at the arena Aelina wishes both of them luck and pardons ways with them to find a seat.

"I wish all the best Artemsia"-Aelina says with a smile filled with excitement.

"Thank you"-Artemsia replied kindly.

With that Valoran and Artemsia made their way to the arena and meet up with: Selina, Atticus and Biatrix are waiting for them at the student seating area of the arena.

" Good day to you"-Selina greets them with a smile.

The others also follow up with friendly greetings.

Valoran also kindly greets his friends.

"Morning to all of you"

Valoran and Artemsia are taking their seats as time passes by the arena is filled up with eagerly awaiting people who cannot wait for the second day of the magic duels to start.

"Another full crowd"-Valoran thought to himself.

Once everyone has taken their seat the narrator begins to speak.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. WELCOME TO THE SECOND DAY OF THE MAGIC DUELS I DON'T WANT TO KEEP YOU WAITING ANY LONGER. THE FIRST MATCH WILL BE YEAR 1 GROUP 1A STUDENT ARTEMSIA AGAINST YEAR 1 GROUP 1B STUDENT DEMONLISE."

"Would the both of you enter the arena"-The commentator instructed.

"Good luck"-Valoran says to her while giving her a tense look to signal her to keep up her guard.

"I appreciate it"-She replied nodding slightly to show she understood.

Artemsia makes her way down to the arena where Demonlise is already waiting for her.

The crowd is cheering just as much as the previous day in excitement for this upcoming duel.

"YAAAAA!!!"

"ARE YOU BOTH READY TO BEGIN?"-The narrator asked.

Artemsia and Demonlise both nodded as they are both ready.

" 3,2,1 begin".....
