Magic Duel Arc.

The final duel of the first day is about, to begin with, Biatrix and Selina getting ready to fight.

The crowd is as always cheering and cannot wait for the duel to start.

The commentator and narrator are both counting down.

3,2,1 BEGIN!

"Ladies first"-Melios says mockingly.

" What a gentleman"-Biatrix says.

Biatrix is the first to strike with fire elemental magic directly toward Melios.

Melios raises a magic barrier.

"What a cute little flame"-Melios says.

Biatrix is angered by that comment.

" Don't get so cocky"- Biatrix says as she is preparing to strike again...When Selina steps in to stop her.

"Wait, Biatrix doesn't let them provoke you"-Selina says.

Valoran is observing the duel closely.

" She's right. If you are letting yourself be provoked this will lead to your battlefield awareness being clouded. Staying calm and level-headed leads to your awareness being sharp this is the most important aspect of a fight"-Valoran says to Atticus.

"Your right"-Biatrix replies.

Selina then casts lighting elemental magic toward Leon.

Leon responds by raising a magic barrier which leads to the spell having no effect.

"I expect more from someone who trains with Valoran Silver was it?"-Leon says.

"Don't worry. We will show you the payoff of his training"-Selina says.

"Leon let's go on the offensive"-Melios says.

"I don't want to finish this duel too quickly"- Leon says.

Both Leon and Melios cast fire elemental magic. Two rings made out of 10 fireballs appear.

"Get ready you two"-Valoran says.

" Why is that?"-Atticus asks curiously.

"This is an extremely powerful fire-type magic and hard to master"-Valoran says.

Then the fireballs start shooting rapidly, with each fireball being shot at Selina and Biatrix another fireball appears as a replacement.

Selina and Biatrix raise magic barriers.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.

Each one of the impacts from the fireballs creates a small explosion.

Selina and Biatrix struggle a little to maintain the magic barriers.

" Stay strong. We need to maintain the barriers"-Selina says.

"I already know that"-Biatrix replies.

" I think that's enough"-Melios says.

The fireballs then stop.

"WOW. WHAT A GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM THE DEMON BROTHERS MELIOS AND LEON"-The commentator says.

" Had enough already?"-Leon asks.

Biatrix and Selina don't negatively react to that question.

"The battle just has just begun"-Biatrix says.

Then Biatrix casts explosion magic.

Leon and Melios together cast a magic barrier.

The barrier protected both Leon and Melios from the explosion.

" WOW WHAT A POWERFUL EXPLOSION FROM BIATRIX"-The commentator says.

"Biatrix let me have a go at them"-Selina says.

" Do you think your attacks are better than mine?"-Biatrix asks Selina.

"Maybe... just don't stand in my way"-Selina says.

Biatrix is angered by the comment.

" Fine go-ahead"-Biatrix says.

Selina then casts the spell water magic.

A huge wave of water is directly heading toward Leon and Melios.

"AMAZING A GIANT WAVE IS HEADING TOWARD MELIOS AND LEON. WHAT WILL THEY DO?"-The commentator says

Melios and Leon are both casting advanced fire elemental magic.

Two beams of fire evaporate the wave before it reaches them both.

The arena is covered in water vapour.

"Valoran none of the attacks seems to work on those two."-Atticus says worryingly.

"That's because Selina and Biatrix are not working together. In contrast, both Melios and Leon work together flawlessly. As expected, from bothers. "-Valoran says.

"During a tag team battle, the most important factor is teamwork" -Artemsia says.

"I know. During a tag-team duel. The team must be in sync. They must know what the other is thinking and must use each other's magic to boost the other one's magic"-Atticus says.

" I am glad to see your learning. What you just said is 100% correct."-Valoran says to Atticus praising his growth.

"That was some spell, Selina. You shouldn't talk such big words if you can't deliver"-Biatrix says.

" Perhaps you want to have a go?"-Selina asks.

Biatrix casts advanced lighting elemental magic.

Dozens of blue lightning bolts are striking Melios and Leon. They both create a magic barrier.

BOOM!

The lightning strikes hit hard against them both.

"Ahh!"-Both Leon and Melios scream in pain.

The attack penetrated the defence and some of the attacks came through the barrier which directly hit both of them.

This results in both of them hitting the arena ground hard.

"UNBELIEVABLE AFTER MANY FAILED ATTACKS BIATRIX MANAGED TO BREAK THROUGH THE DEFENCE AND STRIKE BOTH OF THEM"-The commentator says.

"That's how you attack someone Selina pay attention to my superior skills"- Biatrix says.

"Lucky shot"-Selina replies.

" What you call luck I call skill"-Biatrix says.

During the argument Melios and Leon cast healing magic.

They both get back up on their feet and are now taking the fight seriously.

"That was one powerful attack. I'll give you that"-Melios says.

"Now it's our turn to attack"-Leon says slightly angered.

Leon casts advanced fire elemental magic.

Melios casts wind elemental magic at the same time.

" WHAT GREAT THINKING FROM THE DEMON BROTHERS MELIOS AND LEON. THEY CAST FIRE AND WIND MAGIC TO BOOST THE FLAMES EVEN FURTHER. ABSOLUTELY GREAT TEAMWORK"-The commentator says.

The crowd is cheering.

"YAYYY!!!"

"This is exactly what you just mentioned earlier Atticus. They boost each other's magic"-Artemsia says.

" If Selina and Biatrix don't trust each other and work together soon they will lose this battle."-Valoran says.

Atticus looks worried about that.

Biatrix and Selina cast water elemental magic.

Two streams of water extinguish the flames then suddenly.

"AHHH!"-Biatrix screams in being shocked by lightning.

" We knew you would cast illiam to extinguish the flames."-Melios says.

"So we cast blaze and used your water to boost the lighting and strike you"-Leon says mockingly.

"Biatrix are you alright?"-Selina asks worryingly.

Selina casts healing magic to heal Biatrix.

" As much as I hate to admit it. This was perfect they knew what they would do and used that to their advantage"-Valoran says.

"I should have taught them both the importance of teamwork"-Artemsia says.

" You are not one to blame. You only just started to train them. It's me who's to blame here"-Valoran says.

"Don't be so harsh to yourself" -Atticus says.

"I am grateful for your kindness. But it's obvious that all of you have a lot to learn. Artemsia and I will make sure that you receive better training from now on"-Valoran says.

"Absolutely."-Artemsia replies.

"Biatrix we need to work together to beat them."-Selina says.

"As much as it pains me to admit it but you are right. We need to work as a team to defeat those two"-Biatrix says.

Biatrix casts gravity magic. A huge magic circle appears in the sky.

Melios and Leon are starting to be picked from the ground.

"What?"-Melios asks.

"Why are we starting to float?"-Leon asks.

" Isn't it obvious. I turned off gravity. A nice trick that Valoran taught us"-Biatrix replies.

Valoran is surprised by this.

"I showed them the basics of manipulating gravity. I never knew Biatrix can already manipulate gravity on a large area. It seems she also practised all by herself. I am amazed and proud of her progression"-Valoran says.

"Don't forget about me." -Selina says

Selina casts light magic this creates beams of light with enough power to create beams of lasers.

"Ahhh"-Melios and Leon scream in pain when they are hit by the beams of lasers.

" WOW. WHAT GREAT TEAMWORK FROM SELINA AND BIATRIX. BIATRIX USED GRAVITY MAGIC TO NULLIFY MAGIC AROUND MELIOS AND LEON. SELINA THEN USED LIGHT MAGIC TO CREATE A BEAM OF LIGHT WITH ENOUGH ENERGY TO HURT THEM BOTH WHILE THEY ARE UNABLE TO DODGE FLOATING IN THE AIR"-The commentator says.

"It's not just Biatrix that improved. Selina used light magic on an advanced level. Not only was she able to create beams of lasers but she controlled the energy output by only injuring them slightly. This requires complex calculations since a little too much energy would have killed them both"-Valoran explains to Atticus.

"I was the one who taught her that trick. They are both not just magically gifted they are also intelligent using magic and can perform complex calculations in a short time"-Artemsia explains.

" Thank you for your assistance Artemsia you are better than I am"-Valoran says.

"We did it!"-Selina says to Biatrix.

" Don't celebrate just yet Selina. The duel is not over yet"-Biatrix replies.

Melios and Leon both get back up on their feet.

"Impressive"-Melios says.

"Most impressive"-Leon says.

"We will not underestimate you again"-Melios says.

Melios and Leon cast creation magic to create swords.

" It seems they want to engage in close combat Selina"-Biatrix says.

"Let's show them what we got"-Selina responds.

Selina and Biatrix also cast creation magic to create swords.

" We need to make sure to keep each other back Biatrix"-Selina says.

"Of course. We got this"-Biatrix replies.

Melios and Leon charge toward Biatrix and Selina at hypersonic speed.

Biatrix and Selina easily block the first strike and two clashes (one between Melios and Selina and Biatrix and Leon) are casing two small explosions.

"Good. It seems my training in sportsmanship and speed has paid off. You are also the reason for this development. Artemsia. "-Valoran says.

" Don't give me too much credit. I have not trained them for too long just yet."-Artemsia responds with a smile.

Valoran smirks and continues to watch the duel.

Biatrix and Selina are easily able to keep up with Melios and Leon's hypersonic combat and travel speeds.

"WHAT GREAT SWORDSMANSHIP FROM MELIOS AND LEON. BIATRIX AND SELINA HOWEVER, ARE ALSO VERY IMPRESSIVE. ALL FOUR OF THEM MOVE SO FAST THAT THEY APPEAR INVISIBLE TO ANYONE. EACH SWORD CLASH CREATES POWERFUL SHOCKWAVES. WHAT INCREDIBLE SPEED AND STRENGTH." -The commentator says.

"Wow." " I can't see them"-The crowd are saying to each other...

The crowd looks curious toward each other and are all shocked to see those speeds and strength.

Selina casts ice magic and freezes the arena floor.

This causes Melios and Leon to lose grip on the arena floor and leads them to slip at a high speed.

"Biatrix casts creation magic to create strong chains.

She then uses the chains to restrain both Melios and Leon who are both still in pain and immobilised from the fall.

" Great"-Selina says.

"It's thanks to your ice that we were able to bind them in chains"-Biatrix says.

"They finally work together as one"-Atticus says.

"Together they are unstoppable." -Valoran says.

"They will continue to grow"-Artemsia says with a smile.

Melios and Leon are coming back to their senses.

They struggle to break free from the chains.

"I can't cast magic"-Melios says struggling to say as he is trying to break free from the chains.

"Me neither"-Melios says also struggling to break loose from the chains.

"What's is going on. How come they can't cast magic?"- Atticus asks.

" Look closely at the chains. Focus your magic eyes and analyse the chains"-Valoran says.

Atticus looks closely at Biatrix's chains.

"What? Magic Symbols."-Atticus asks curiously.

" Actually they are anti-magical symbols. Being bonded by these chains nullifies your magic"-Valoran explains.

"MELIOS AND LEON ARE UNABLE TO CAST MAGIC. THIS IS DUE TO THE ANTI-MAGICAL CHAINS WHICH NULLIFIES MAGIC"-The commentator says.

Unable to cast magic Melios and Leon have no way of winning the match.

" You've won"-Melios says in a sad voice with his head down.

"THE MATCH IS OVER. " BIATRIX AND SELINA WIN. DESPITE THEIR CONFLICT AT THE BEGINNING THEY MANAGED TO TRUST EACH OTHER AND WIN WITH GREAT TEAMWORK"-The commentator says.

Selina and Biatrix hug each other.

"We won. You were awesome" -Selina says.

"You were the awesome one Selina"-Biatrix replies with a smile.

" THE WINNERS ARE BIATRIX AND SELINA"-The narrator says in excitement.
