Magic Duel Arc.

When teleporting to the basement where Professor Asparata's sister is being held they both witness something horrific.

Inside, the basement they see an estimate of 20 young children ages as young as 3 years and 12 years from all races (humans, Demon, Demi-Human, and elves)

"What?.... What is this place?"-Professor Asparata asks herself covering her mouth while feeling fear.

Upon closer inspection, they noticed that the children are not well.

Most of them have bruises even the 3-year-old.

The older children even have a few broken limbs.

Valoran casts telepathy magic to contact Artemsia.

"Artemsia, please come to my location it's urgent I need your assistance."

"I will be there in a blink of an eye"-Artemsia said.

The moment she said that Artemsia teleported to Valoran's location.

"Thank you for coming."-Valoran said.

When she arrived she was also shocked and just as confused about what is going on here.

"What is this? Children who are hurt."-Artemsia said.

"Yes. Children have been abducted over the last few weeks for ransom."-Valoran explained.

"Please heal them. As for me, I'll deal with those four and I don't want to do it in front of the children"-Valoran said.

"Of course, I will help."-Artemsia said.

" Also Artemsia this my teacher at the academy. Professor Asparata this is my good friend Artemsia a powerful magic-user. "-Valoran introduced them to each other.

They both shook hands.

"Nice to meet you."-Artemsia said.

"Likewise thank you for your assistance."-Professor Asparata said.

" Her little sister was also abducted and is held here as well. Please help her find her."-Valoran asked.

"I will"-Artemsia said.

"Thank you"-Valoran said.

With that Valoran then turned his attention to the four demons.

He casts teleportation magic and teleports all four demons and himself into an abandoned side road with no escape.

The demons and Valoran arrive at an abandoned ally way with a dead end.

The four demons are sitting on the ground with their backs against the dead-end wall.

Valoran towering over them four with his bright crimson eyes facing them.

The fear these four are feeling is something they never have felt previously.

"What to do with you?"-Valoran asked with an angered tone of voice.

" Please don't hurt us"-One of the demons begged Valoran.

"Why should I show you mercy? You abused those poor kids. "-Valoran replied.

"You-"-The demon gets interrupted.

" My question is. I am aware that you kidnapped these poor children for ransom. What I want to know is why did you additionally abuse them?"-Valoran asked with his red eyes staring down at them.

"Those brats didn't want to be still. Constantly crying out for help. We had to discipline them"-One of the demons said.

" He's right. Those brats couldn't keep their mouth shut. Also constantly asking for food"-The lead demon said.

Valoran was furious hearing that.

"Quiet"-Valoran firmly instructed.

The moment he said that all the demons were immediately frozen in place as Valoran controlled them by controlling all their blood and mind.

" How dare you talk about those children like that?"-Valoran asked angrily.

Valoran at that point is more angered than ever before.

"I will punish you accordingly"-Valoran said.

Valoran explained to those four how they will be punished.

" First I will make you all immortal. Curse you with eternal youth and no matter what you do you will never die.

Don't think that's a blessing. I will send you all to a dimension where there is an endless desert. Not my first time doing this. However, the last time I did that I did not curse them with eternal life.

You will never die. You will feel the pain of death as you starve. If by the off chance you manage to locate food and water it will also be futile. The moment food and water enter your mouth it will turn to ashes.

You will try to kill yourself all your efforts will be futile.

Death will not pardon you."-Valoran said.

After he explained the punishment he cursed them with life and opened a portal to the endless desert dimension and throws all four demons inside.

The four of them land in different locations. Separating each of them by thousands and thousands of miles.

"NNOOOO!"-All four demons screamed.

Valoran closed the portal trapping them all in an eternal prison.

Valoran casts teleportation magic and teleports back to Professor Asparata and Artemsia.

When he arrived every child was healed and Professor Asparata thankfully found her little sister.

"Valoran your back."-Professor Asparata said.

" I am. Don't worry. Those four are gone for good"-Valoran said.

"All the children are healed"-Artemesia replied.

" Thank you for helping out. I appreciate it"-Valora said.

"It was my pleasure. Helping out a friend is thanks enough"-Artemsia said.

A boy walked up to Valoran with urgent news.

" Sir. Sir. My brother is with the others. He's just a newborn. Please help him and the others"-The boy begged.

Valoran crouched down to the boy's level.

"Where are they do you know the location?"-Valoran asked.

" Yes I can take you there"-The boy replied.

"Let me go."-Artemsia said.

Valoran looked up at her.

"Are you sure?"-Valoran asked.

" I am. I want to help these other children. It has been so long since I was in a fight."-Artemsia said.

Valoran thinks about it.

"Alright. Take the boy and save the others. "-Valoran said.

She takes the boy by his hand and leaves the room.

"Artemsia"-Valoran said

Artemsia stops and faces Valoran.

" Your number 1 priority is the safety of those children. Don't lose yourself in the battle"-Valoran said.

"I won't. I will save them"-Artemsia replied with a smile and leaves with the boy.

They left the building and are now outside.

Artemsia carries the boy and starts levitating high up in the air for the boy to pinpoint the location of the other children who are in captivity.

" Ok. Can you tell me where the others are?"-Artemsia asked while levitating high up in the night sky.

The boy looks around the points to one abandoned warehouse.

"There. There that's where they are located"-The boy said filled with energy.

Artemsia flew towards the building that the boy pointed to.

As soon as he revealed the location Artemsia did not hesitate and flew directly to the building.

They arrived within seconds.

She landed with the boy in her arms and puts the boy on the ground.

"Wait here. It is too dangerous for you."-Artemsia said.

" Yes ma'am"-The boy replied.

Artemsia then headed towards the door and stands directly in front of the door.

She then uses her magic eyes to see through the door. Only one of her eyes many abilities.

"I see. Four guys. The children seem to be out of harm's way."-Artemsia said.

She then blasts the door open.

The four men are in shock to see her standing there.

" Hello, boys. I came here to save the children."-Artemsia said with a smirk on her face.

"You bitch" "Who are you?" "We will kill you"-The four men replied.

The four men lined up. They attacked her with fire elemental magic and lighting elemental magic.

Artemsia stood still and took the attacks head-on.

On impact, it created an explosion, as well as a huge amount of wind and smoke, was produced.

" There you go. She's dead"-One of the men said.

"You really thought that this would kill me?"-Artemsia asked in a mocking tone.

As the smoke cleared they saw Artemsia unharmed. Not even a single hair strain was moved out of place.

The four men are in shock.

" Impossible. We gave it our all"-The four men said in shock.

"That attack didn't even tickle"-Artemsia replied.

"Now then. I believe it's my turn."-Artemsia said as her purple eyes begin to glow.

She freezes all men in place.

"I can't move"-The men are barely able to speak.

She then walks past the four men and goes to the back room where she witnesses the same image as the first place.

Children aged between 3-12 are all in bad condition with bruises and some of the older children have some limbs broken.

" What cruel fate has been done to you?"-Artemsia asks in shock.

She immediately casts healing magic. She creates a huge vita magic circle that heals all the children within a couple of seconds.

"Your safe now"-Artemsia said.

"My pain is gone" "Thank you" "Thank you lady"-Some of the children said.

Artemsia is filled with joy that she was able to help out these innocent children.

" It's ok now head outside."-Artemsia said.

She then looks a little closer and sees a makeshift crip made out of old wood and some straws as padding.

She walks towards the crip and sees an infant kicking his legs.

The infant then looked toward Artemsia and smiled.

"What a cute little baby"-Artemsia said with a huge smile.

She grabs the newborn and makes her way out of the building passing the four men.

When she arrives outside the building all the children are waiting for her.

The boy who initially asked for help is filled with joy and tears when he sees that his little brother is unharmed in Artemsia's arms.

" He's alive!"-The boy said.

He runs toward Artemsia and can't hold back his gratitude and excitement.

"Thank you so so much for saving him and the others."-The boy said.

He then hugs her.

"You're welcome"-Artemsia said and is moved by the fact that she helped those who were in need.

She then carefully passes the boy his little brother.

" Careful. I'll be right back. Wait here I have some unfinished business to attend to"-Artemsia said.

She then walks back inside the building with the four still frozen in place.

"You four will pay for what you have done. I will show you now mercy"-Artemsia said with an angry tone of voice.

She then unfreezes the four.

" We can move again"-The four men said.

"Let's charge at her with our swords since magic does not work on her"-One of the men said.

" Agreed"-Another man said.

They then pulled out swords and charged toward Artemsia who is not impressed in the slightest.

"AHHH!"-The four men are yelling.

" Ha. This will be over quickly"-Artemsia said.

Finger Snap.

Artemsia snapped her fingers and all the men vanished into thin air.

"Consider this your punishment"-Artemsia said.

She then goes back outside to the children.

"Everyone. I will bring us to the others"-Artemsia said.

She then casts teleportation magic.

She and all the children arrive at the other place where the other children, Professor Asparata and Valoran are standing outside together with city guards who came to aid.

" Those are the remaining children"-Artemsia said.

"Thank you"-Valoran replied.

" What about the men?"-Valoran asked.

"They won't be a threat ever again"-Artemsia replied.

" I see. "-Valoran replied.

Professor Asparata is holding her own little sister in her arms and can't thank them enough for their help.

" Thank you Valoran. Thank you Artemsia. If there is anything I can do, please tell me."

Valoran smiles and says.

"How about you become our teacher again? We all miss you."-Valoran said.

" Of course, I will return"-Professor Asparata said.

"I can't wait to see you teach tomorrow. We should go now Artemsia's mom is likely worried at this point"-Valoran said.

" Of course"-Artemsia replied.

"You two live together?"-Professor Asparata asked.

" Yes. My mother offered her a place when she had nowhere else to go"-Valoran said.

"If that's the case. I have an idea"-Professor Asparata said.

Both Artemsia and Valoran curiously look toward Professor Asparata.

The next morning.

Valoran greets his friends in class as usual.

" Morning"-Valoran and his friends greet each other.

Professor Asparata then enters the class hall.

"She's back" "I am so glad she is." "I was worried that she really quit"- Selina, Biatrix and Atticus said as well as all the other students.

" Now class settle down. I have an important announcement to make."-Professor Asparata said.

"Please come in"-Professor Asparata said.

A beautiful female with black hair and purple eyes walks into the class in uniform and walks in front of the class.

Everyone is amazed at her beauty in particular the male students.

" She's so pretty" "What pretty hair." "Wow"-The other students are saying.

" This is our new student. Please introduce yourself."-Professor Asparata said.

The female starts to speak.....

".....I am Artemsia it's nice to meet you."-She said with a smile.
